7075 is very brittle, i used to professionaly race bmx. I give Remette credit for their heat treatment on m390, the last I saw they hit 62.7 hrc! But that thing is crap. Credit for the designing, but it's no reate exo... or even close

I'm a big fat guy and ride park pretty regularly on a 7075 frame, not that the way a specific alloy performs in BMX is relevant to knives in any way...
A single hardness test shouldn't lead to giving credit any more than it should taking it away. The one I had tested was barely 59.
