Our First Time at Buc-ee's!! (Katy, TX)

- We decide to take a day trip to Buc-ee's, Texas' famous gas station. We share our ratings of some treats Buc-ee's has to offer.
We visited the Katy, TX location. The address is:

We tried the following items:
- Buckin' Brisket Sandwich
- Chicken Sandwich
- White Cheddar Buc-ee Nu-gees
- Barbeque 3-Meat Sandwich
- Assorted Pre-Packaged Jerkies (Lemon Pepper and Ghost Pepper)
- Large Pecan Cinnamon Roll
- Beaver Tail
I must point out a mistake @20:18 that I made in the video when I describe the meats on my Triple Meat Sandwich. The sausage at the top was pork sausage, the chopped meat in the middle was brisket, and the sliced meat at the bottom was turkey.

They now have table toppers that are made to fit in your car, one for the driver and one for the passenger, guess where? Yep, Amazon...lol..lol
A lot of the muck bangers have them now, saves on the car no matter where you are.
I have never heard of Buc-ee's before your show, but I will have to look for one the time I travel that way

We went to the Buc-ee's in San Antonio and it was amazing. My whole family is addicted now. My favorites were the sliced brisket sandwich and the smoked turkey sandwich. Definitely try the classic Beaver Nuggets, they are delicious!
I (Qeia) just recently tried the classic Beaver Nuggets (be sure to watch our second visit in Texas City). They were okay, and I say that because I'm not really big on sugary snacks and junk food. I did, however, poured it over some milk and ate it like cereal. It was AWESOME!
😂That was fun to watch! ❤ I stopped at the Buc-ees at 601 Union Grove Rd SE, Adairsville, GA. I bought a few things. The Brisket sandwich was so delicious! I didnt like Buc-ees original nuggets but my grand children loved them. I also bought a cute tshirt and a buc-ees coffee cup and the banana pudding was good. Ok now I am craving a beef brisket sandwich from Buc-ees. I will go back to try a couple of other items and definitely get that brisket again. Also the womens bathroom was clean!
We never got to check out the restrooms and we will most likely not get to film in there even though we've seen a few on the Tube that has...Trying to be respectful of the privacy of others...Well, outside of normal vlogging...

I know I may sound old for this but that Edy's Butter pecan is the Bomb!!...I love Krispy Kreme too... Shipley's seem to be the thing here in Houston but being from Charlotte NC, KK reigns supreme...I know most northerners like Dunkin...They ahhhhiiight...lol

I have stories for days about this place. Yes, same location. People only look at the pay. Calculate the 30 minute break you don’t get for lunch is your 3 week vacation. You have 5-7 minutes to eat & you have to stand while eating. Don’t ask to go to the bathroom if your a cashier because the will tell you no with an attitude like you not suppose to go to the bathroom while there. Hey Joseph, Sam, & Nick.
Yeah, it's sad to see what happens behind the scenes with some companies, which is the reason why it's important as a customer/client to be patient and kind to staff. There are many people like us who sacrifice their time, energy, and sometimes sanity, to entertain us and make us comfortable. Both James and I have previously worked on the "other side of the counter" and know first hand how customers AND employers can be ROYAL JERKS towards the front-line workers. We pray that you, Joseph, Sam, and Nick are treated with respect if you work in this industry. If not, you know what to do ;) ✌🏾
Yes I’ve heard about the work conditions and expectations. The pay is good as it’s advertised at the front entrance of the store.
QT is no comparison 😅. Bucees is upscale gas station - one stop shop! $25 million in sales per year for 1 location. Some earn more but hey it’s expected considering the size and items sold. The home decor is nice. I bought a nice large ceramic vase. Brisket sandwiches are # 1 sellers. Tender/Juicy…. Have patience they’re always busy from the pumps to the inside counters. 4th of July weekend, cars were lined up off the exit ramp to get into the parking lot. This was at the location in GA.

I was about to ask where you were from because of the QT reference. We are originally from the Carolinas (James from NC and Qeia from SC). Yeah, Buc-ee's is DEFINITELY not for the faint at heart, especially during major holidays and summer time (when the kids are out of school).

The Steakhouse Jerky is outstanding.
Steakhouse ANYTHING is usually good! We have to get back and try more of the jerky. We watched another video where the host tried the fresh jerky and raved about it.
Been there done that. It’s surly an experience. Washed our car there. In for a surprise. So much fun. I’m not a big fan of beaver nuggets but I love the praline pecans. Also like the holiday tee shirts. 3:23

Yes, they really are. It truly surprised us with the amount of people they have in and out...Speaks volumes for their level of commitment to their brand and cleanliness.

We actually blessed our food before the camera came on...We did that so we could get into it and get done with filming...That is a must and always...People look at us weirdly at times out to eat, because we bless the table before our food even comes...

Please allow me to clarify something. Katy is an area in Houston. It’s an incorporated area like so many of Houston area communities, but it is nonetheless Houston. Regardless to whether they call their area Katy, Texas. It’s still just a community of Houston.

I have been to several Bucees, not the one in Katy. Tip for you. Next time you eat something spicy. Get a teaspoon of salt and pour it on your tongue and let your saliva start. Take it as long as you can and then rinse well.

You want great donuts and kolaches? If you go north of Houston to a town named Porter, Texas turn off of Hwy 59 at the 1314 exit, go under the Hwy and straight down 1314 towards Conroe until you see a place called Pat's Donuts on the left. Their donuts and kolaches are 🔥....at least they still were the last time I went there about a year ago.

Yeah, I (Qeia) realized I did. We went back (check out our Second Time at Buc-ee's video) and I purchased the original nuggets. Super sweet in my opinion, but they taste GREAT when eaten in a bowl of milk like cereal!
