The only thing Bucee's didn't have was the limited edition Jolly Texas series t-shirt (get yours here getjolly.store ). Hit like if you want to see a Buccee's x Jolly merch collab.
throw Bucees face on the back of it for branding ...... and I am sure they could at it to their shirt rack 😂
Arch Aplin owns buc ees. My wifes aunt went to high school with him. Nice guy. Still see him around in lake jackson. Home of Arch and the original buc ees. Glad to see yall enjoyed it.
Y’all should have got the brisket burger. They are AMAZING!!! I always get that when I go on road trips from McAllen to Houston Tx which is like 7 hour drive.
FYI: That is not a "real" kolatche. A "real" kolatche is a pastry with a jam/jelly type in the middle (on top not in the cented). If it has meat it, it is a "pig-in-a-blanked" or Klobasniky, or or klobasnek if just one. Many Czech bakery just call them Czech Kolatche and Texas Kolatche, because people just odn't understand.
It all came from a company that had "Kolatche" in the brand name, so people in Texas just called everything kolatche.
y'all need to start using some condiments bruh. Like mustard would've been bomb on those kolaches and sausage on a stick
As a native Texan, "This is a gas station that let the intrusive thoughts win" is the most perfect description of the over-indulgence that is Buc-ees.
I broke out in a belly laugh at that comment, because it's so goddamn true.
It really was. These guys are great
You guys actually hit on the exact origin of the Buc-ee's franchise. The whole thing began with a thought the owner's wife had, that typical gas station and truck stops had filthy bathrooms and wouldn't it be nice if they were clean, well-lit, and generally felt safe for your daughter? Then the owner added his ideas -- that it should always have plenty of cheap gas, cheap ice, and good food...then the ideas never stopped. From many small ideas, eventually, the huge Buc-ee's we all know was born.
Thanks for explaining this. As a native texan who never visited one, I didn't understand why people loved it so much. I thought, ''it's just a gas station''!
started in Brazoria County Texas. Lake Jackson.. I remember buccees from when i was a kid and im 46.. its cool to see how big Beaver has grown his brand!! I remember delivering pizzas to the Aplin's when I worked for dominos way back in the day...
@@Adrienne926 I was the same until stopping at one on the way to San Antonio. Now I get it. If you're traveling with kids or a group, it's a place where everyone can find something to eat or snack on. And the bathrooms - good grief. My oldest daughter calls it the Taj MaStall.
Damn, more people need to think like them. :O Having a bunch of different things be cheap and affordable, plenty of variety, clean and organized, and always adding on to more things, having more standards or simply providing more and a lot of great customer service where others have failed to do so...
If everything was like a Buc-ee's, I think we could be living in a utopia with the world being in a better place, least of all economically, or something. :p
Absolutely. And having grown up traveling between Dallas and Houston often and experiencing those disgusting bathrooms, Buccee’s was the best thing that ever happened to Texas road warriors. Completely brilliant.
"It's like a beef morgue."
Welcome to America, guys. Hope everyone treated you well.
Buc-ees could be America's IKEA if they decide to go worldwide.
True!!!
We have Ikeas all over the US too.
NO hope it stays here and never expands outside of Texas! Expansion would ruin the brand.
@@Nicol397Jit’s already left Texas. There are Buc-ees as far as Kentucky, Tennessee, and even Florida. They just opened one a couple hours away from me in Missouri. It’s not ruining anything.
@@Nicol397Jyou do realize the brand has expanded in other states right? Florida has at least three (as of this comment being made) and gonna have another one closer to Orlando next year (roughly) unless it gets delayed.
I love how Ollie will "Lady and the Tramp" any food, but draws the line at Josh feeding him. 😆
Hilarious observation - you are spot on 🤣
Lol i was thinking the same thing! He'd rather they both hold it awkwardly instead of just taking a bite 😂
@@NaturalAegyo exactly 🤣
Why don't they just cut the food item in half? Much more sanitary and they can taste it at the same time.
@@sandrab2589 funny bit
"It’s like a gas station that let the intrusive thoughts win" 😂 loll Ollie never misses
This is probably the best description of Buc-ee's I've ever heard! 😄 I love how people outside of Texas, and especially outside the U.S., come here to discover how much this place lives up to its reputation. This particular Buc-ee's is about a half an hour from my house and anytime anyone comes to visit that has never been there, it's one of the first places they want to go. I love it!
@@Wyndigayle My mom & I will be heading to Dallas Tx in a few months for a flight to Honolulu. But oddly enough all I'm thinking about is "Do we have time to make a stop at Buc-ee's?". I've been there before back in 2019 the last time, but I've been longing to go back there ever since lol 😂.
I read this comment as Ollie said it lol
Cringe comment
@@Wyndigayleyou aren’t special sdfu
"Who is this beaver savant?" I JUST CANNOT! I love you Ollie, you have me laughing until I cry. GENIUS
Omg I was looking for this comment 😂😂😂😂 Ollie had me hysterical laughing
I just went to my first Bucee's last night. As an American, I was as much in shock as these guys. It's amazing!
“We got a bit carried away, much like your entire store.”
“There’s more food in this store than the entire United Kingdom.”
Solid lines from Ollie in this vid 😂
Excuse you, 3:36
If the boys aren’t careful, they’re going to become the TexanEnglishman 😂
We'll take them. They're so much fun, they would fit in well. :)
We love UK expats in Texas.
I’ve met so many, can always use more
lmao 텍사스 남자 does have kind of a nice ring to it
They will need to learn how to say Pecan first 🤣
Kulaches are Czech food. They also do fruit filled ones. My neighbors make them with fruit preserves. Yum
And I thought I was the only one who knew that. I'm not Bohemian, I'm Polish. That accounts for me thinking kolochkee are only stuffed with fruit fillings. 😂
My Texas czech grandma made them for us every holiday and birthday . Being the oldest grandson , I got the most !!!! A fact that still passes off my cousins , but oh well there ain't a damn thing they can do about it . Suck it up kids !!!!
There are Czech-styled kolaches that have the sausage and-or various fillings put inside the biscuit and the Texan(?) ones that are basically a visible sausage with sort of a biscuit wrapped around it. I am way more in favor of the Czech styled ones. Dos Gatos is a good place for them if there is one nearby
Now I want to see British high schoolers in a Buc-ee's.
That might change their lives for the worse. I don't know if they can go back to English food after that
They would not want to leave. We’d have illegal British immigrant teenagers.
Buc-ee’s literally hired a BBQ world champion to be in charge of their BBQ, and he trains the new BBQ cooks.
Good to know,thanks.
Well I tried their various meats in Calhoun, GA and I was mad. Dried out. No flavor. Long lines. High prices.
Keep it. I'll never go back.
And it SLAPS!
@@RedWhiteAndBlue4evr1 That’s where you did it wrong, you went to a bucees in Georgia, you just go to one in Houston or San Antonio for the best experience.
It doesn't compare to the best BBQ joints, but it's still damn good BBQ for a road trip stop. I never even stop there for gas, just food and groceries.
11:05 "Who is this beaver savant, hanging out on the side of highways in Texas? Just a culinary genius." Guys, I'm dead. I swear, the inside of Ollie's mind is it's own amusement park.
"Beaver savant" had me cracking up so hard! 🤣
That comment was the best.
I’m dying laughing
I worked at Buccees when there was only ONE location. It was a small regular gas station. I remember when they opened the 2nd location by Surfside Tx. It was the first big Buccees. So i love seeing the phenomenon it has become.
That’s awesome dude, I live by the one they just opened in Katy!
Heck we just had one location open up here in Colorado Springs not too long ago maybe six months give or take, Buc-ee's is gonna sweep the nation.
Havent been to it yet since i live in a podunk prison town on the other side of the mountains and dont travel much.
Edit: so i was mistaken it is set to open sometime this spring of 2024, it seems i got confused by them mentioning they were going to open one there. I thought they already had.
@@100GTAGUY That is crazy to think. But yeah. I worked at the original Buc-cee's when it was just the one location before we ever had a second or third. LOL Heck I lived 2 miles away from the home office and my BFF dated one of the owners. Buc-cee's to me is very different from Buc-cee's to the nation LOL. I am very proud to see it grow and know I was on the ground floor. Now I am a lawyer LOL
I was just on a road trip across the US with my daughter who just graduated high school. A woman we met at the Grand Canyon was raving about Buc-ees . We were laughing at her enthusiasm until we stopped for gas at a Buc-ees. Great BBQ brisket sandwich! Its a fun stop for sure and popular. Well staffed and clean!
I genuinely want to know how Ollie’s mind works. He’s on rapid fire with jokes this video and I’m loving it. 😂
Right? It's incredible! And inspiring, and hilarious 😅
I wish I could do that 😂 even when I think of a good joke I need to iterate a few times
And when I perfect oh, it comes out my mouth all jumbled 🤣
My guess is he has a bit of ADHD I can joke because I have it too
@@alyssat7809 Yup, I've also thought for some time that he probably has ADHD, especially after I got my diagnosis :)
@@lilian1987 i was diagnosed at 6 years old kinda by accident and I'm turning 30 this year, I can't often tell right away that someone has adhd but I've been watching this channel for awhile and I would bet that Ollie has ADHD 🤣😅
When Ollie called this a gas station "that let the intrusive thoughts win", I lost it... so damn funny AND true! The man has a very special mind, and we all benefit as viewers 😂 👏👏

Texas has a lot to be proud of.😊
"There is more food in this store than there is in the entire UK."
Man that made me laugh lmao
😂😂😂😂😂
Ollie justifying fossil fuels for the sake of Buc-ee’s had me dying 😂😂
There's no such thing as fossil fuel. It's as abundant as water. Don't be fooled.
Nothing wrong with oil. Climate change is a lie.
I’m so sad Jolly was so close to me! I’ve watched the videos for so long and I would have loved to meet them
Wouldn’t Buccee still work with EV, if anything it works better as EV takes time to charge and then driver will now have time to shop
Ye love it
I can't believe you didn't even mention the bathrooms! 😂 Buc-ee's is legendary!! Btw, they have great jerky. Y'all just picked the wrong flavor, lol.
We’re on a trip in the USA and because of you we are definitely checking this out! On our way as we speak 😃👍🏻
Those Beaver Nuggets are hideous tho!!! Nooooo 🤮
@@EllenBZHah! Was there anything you liked?
Did you enjoy the bathroom?????
Did you have sex there?
What you failed to mention in the video (which was hilarious, BTW), is that Bucees built the business based on a promise of clean, well maintained restrooms. Not only do you not have to wait because they have plentiful stalls, the bathrooms are continuously cleaned all day long. Travelers will literally "hold it" for miles just to use the restrooms, me included. 😂 The management is also very community oriented and the premises have been used as a staging area for emergency personnel during natural disasters, with the company donating food in the store for those emergency workers. We love Bucees here in Texas!
Yea, I was thinking the same, they failed to mention the restrooms. Overall, great review!
That is the way to run a business in the US of A!
Truth! I guess they didn’t need to go to the loo or else they would have excited the loo with their big eyes of amazement! 😂
As you should.
My daughter recently moved to Texas and I told her out about this place. She had a hard time believing me but eventually became a loyal customer. After all, it's just a Wal-Mart mixed in with two Sven-Elevens, one half of a Target, a fast food and candy shop, and around a hundred gas pumps in front.
I mean, you're not wrong lmao 😂😂😂
I have one about 5 minutes from my house and it is open 24 hours and there are always police there getting gas so it is extremely safe and well lit…which i enjoy
don't forget the 200 toilets in the cleanest public bathrooms in existence.
That’s the best description of the place I’ve ever seen.
I remember the Sven-Elevens from my time in Sweden
I was on a road trip and woke up out of a nausea-medicine induced coma to go into Buccees and I’d *heard* about it before, but in that state I was NOT prepared.
The next day I asked my husband, “Wait. Did we… go to a gas station that had a… a home decor section? Did that HAPPEN???” Turns out, yes. Yes it did.
The barbecue and brisket sandwiches were AMAZING. I’ve been craving one for the past five MONTHS. 🤣 And I had chocolate chip and also oatmeal raisin cookies. They were great.
Oddly the bathrooms were just fine. 🤷🏻♀️
Too funny!! Probably the best part is watching Josh’s expression!! It seems like pretty much every time he bites into something he likes, his eyes roll back in his head!😂😂😂 There is the occasional puzzled look and rarely the disappointment of something he just can’t stomach, but the orgasmic look of the good stuff he likes is always a special treat!! Ollie, when he like’s something has the look up and to the side fluttering blinks reaction! But when he’s got a tasty morsel of something he likes but he’s still chewing on it, we’re in suspense with the fluttering blinks wondering if his approval is imminent or not; most of the time approval is at the end , but he’s not quite sure, which is also a great reaction to the good stuff, but I have to say Josh’s looks of approval where it looks like you’re feeding a starving man is great to watch!! Carry On Guys!! Always a pleasure watching you guys eat!! (I don’t think I’ve ever said that about anyone??) 😂😂
😮😅😂
I can literally feel them getting higher and higher on sugar as they continue trying food lol
I'd like to see them about a half hour after eating all that sugar
Josh's eyes after eating the cinnamon roasted pecans is exactly the reaction you have if you haven't had these before. They are like drugs.
"And that was when I heard the angels..."
Yup. That's everyone's first time. I make them at home as well (pretty easy actually). The Bavarian almonds we have up north are insanely good as well.
Sugar is addictive, like drugs, so that's accurate
In my youth we had Stuckey’s petroleum stations. Buc-cees is the love child of Stuckey’s and Walmart.
I laughed every time you bit into something new, knowing exactly what your reaction would be.
Those eyes 👀 👀! Hilarious.
Stuckey’s, Walmart and Disneyland!!
You guys don't have alot of these things that we just take for granted everyday. You all make me appreciate our good food we have here even more. 😊😊
"more food in this store that the entire United Kingdom" - LOL! Ollie's a classic!
I think my favorite part of this channel is just watching British people fall in love with pecans. As the granddaughter of a pecan farmer I suppose I’m spoiled in always having pecans in my life. 😂
I have a pecan tree in my back yard and I hate the dang thing. Thought it was so cool when I first moved here...went through one season, one agonizingly tedious pie, and hated it ever since. Three seasons of mess. 😂
Lol, thank you to pecan farmers, food from heaven
@@sneer0101 OR their brand is them hugely overreacting to everything they try in other countries and badmouth what's available back home? Either way I really enjoy their channel.
@@ffforazon what's available back home - mushy peas, beans & toast, can't forget the spotted dick
When my parents bought their first home, my grandfather planted a pecan tree in the backyard. 40 years Iater, I don't think I've ever had a pecan from that huge tree. I do however have a front yard seat to squirrels burying things in that back yard.
I live in Dallas Texas. I love all your videos from your tour of tasty Texas treats. It brings me so much joy to see you guys enjoying & validating my love of Texas & it’s amazing food.
Dallas is an awesome city.😊
Love Buc-ees and love you 2 experiencing Buc-ees. You missed out on the Brisket sandwich and the absolutely spotless bathrooms. Can’t wait for more videos…❤😂😂😂
The look on that guys face in the background when Ollie was talking about the banana pudding was priceless LOL
What guy 😂
"Y'all ain't from around here or y'all are faking terrible British accents"
The side eye 💀
He looked like he was about to attack.
Looked like a jerk to me. There is a cut and then he isn't there, so he was probably a dick about it.
I'm from the town Buccees was founded in and I'm pretty sure a big chunk of their revenue actually come from their stores, which allows them to have more competitive gas prices. Also, fun fact: the beaver mascot is because the founder was compared to a beaver in high school so he took the nickname and built his empire with it!
I reported some shoplifters to a store employee at the Luling store one time and she said yeah we lose about $10 -$12k a month from theft just at that store. And that was about 10 years ago before shoplifting became the national pastime.
😮👏🏼

When I moved to the Rio Grande Valley to teach, I was told "We eat in gas stations here." And once I had gas station breakfast taco made with a fresh flour tortilla and topped by a whole salsa bar full of fresh toppings, I understood why. Definitely a Texas thing.
We live in the RGV and just down the road at about 4 pm a guy sets up a grill and the street taco's are delicious and cheap.
I live in the Rio Grande Valley as well, and after the breakfast run is over, they switch to their lunch menu.💜

I have spent some much time watching these two lads video’s and never been disappointed. But this is my favourite one so far. Keep up the great work, you make me laugh everyday. Thanks
i’ve been to buc-ee’s a good bit down in florida, but it’s still so surreal to me whenever i go. the unreal amount of gas pumps makes it feel like it’s all just a location i’ve made up in my dream, as well as the bathrooms.
You know what I really appreciate about this guy? He’s not a snob, he actually give’s everything a pretty good chance, and he just enjoys eating different things. He’s not pretentious about it either which is nice to see
As a native Texan located just a hop & a skip from the New Braunfels Buc-ees, I second this 🙌🏼 I think I smiled the whole way through this, but their reaction to the buttered pecans really warmed my heart. I grew up on a pecan orchard just west of San Antonio ❤
Whic? Both?
You are so right Bryce. It is not like having Jeremy Clarkson from top bear sampling the exact same foods. I know he was playing to his core audience but he was so often so offensive. These guys are simply fun. Such a great video.
Which guy are you talking about? Josh? Ollie is fussy.
That's what really matters in these videos. These guys actually seem genuinely eager and happy to try the different foods and things that would seem odd or unappealing to someone not from around here. That's what makes them fun to watch. They don't have to like everything they try. In fact that would be disingenuous and obvious and the videos wouldn't be as interesting. But just their approach is good natured and I like that they are about as objective as possible when reviewing the things they try.
Honestly this channel is the epitomy of "what if buzzfeed was good".
keep up the good work you brits :)
That's cus buzzfeed is only worried about making money and not being canceled while trying to appeal to every coastal liberal alive. Oh and making sure they own their employees and all their ideas in perpetuity
Well, Buzzfeed was ran by Republican CEO who hates their own employees, soo that's probably why buzzfeed is bad.

You guys made me smile and laugh so much with this video! I live in the Southern state of Georgia and have never seen a Buc-ee's before! Must be a Southwestern chain. My family and I did a road trip from Georgia to Tempe, Arizona, and back in July of last year. We encountered numerous "Love's" gas stations along the way, and they were SO awesome! Even the privacy and cleanliness of their restrooms! But from what I saw in the video, Buc-ee's has Love's beat by a mile (oops! I mean a kilometer! Lol! )
There's 2 bucee's in GA. I saw the signs last time I drove to ATL.
Yes, Bucee’s wins by a long shot. Texan here. I travel from Houston to New Braunfels a lot and I NEVER stop at a Love’s. My experience is they are plain convenience store and dingy and dirty bathrooms. Next time, pee at a Bucees 😂 and also budget some money when you shop because it will definitely leave a dent in your wallet.
Every time they bring out a new brisket, the BBQ employees shout out something like 'NEW BRISKET ON THE BLOCK!" I read a business article about Buc-ee's recently that said that the owners also started their own cattle ranch in order to ensure quality of their beef supply chain. And the bathrooms are amazingly clean!
👌 👏 😍
Sounds like the people who run Buc-ee's have the customer in mind before profit. That's very rare in America.
@@karadan100 Most businesses have the customer in mind. What are you talking about?

We came to our first one on our last road trip. The billboards were everywhere and we had no idea what it even was. The billboard claiming the best bathrooms had us stopping to check them out. Awesome place (and GREAT bathrooms).
Good bathrooms go a LONG way! 😂
When I moved to Texas I had heard of Buc-ees and was excited to check it out. I thought that the store itself was fine, and I appreciate a good wall of jerky, but it was a bit overrated. It's a nice gas station convenience store, but at the end of the day it's kind of a novelty. But the bathrooms. The bathrooms COMPLETELY live up to the hype. So clean, so much privacy. If I lived within walking distance of a Buc-ees, I'd just get rid of my bathroom and walk there every time I had to go. They are BY FAR the nicest public bathrooms I have ever been in.

Why do I just love these two guys. So charming.
You guys are hysterical. I'm a native Texan, I've had these experiences all of my life (there's a Buc-ees about 10 miles from me) and you have put such a fun spin on everything here. You realize that Texas is addicting, right? You come here, you see the sites (and you've missed a bunch!) and eat your way around the state and you'll have to come back to see what you missed. You gotta go see Palo Duro Canyon (hit that in June and there's a musical about Texas in an outdoor amphitheater). Have you seen Galveston yet? Opposite ends of the state (and over 12 hour drive between them, no guano!) You think Buc-ees is big, there's a reason why we do EVERYTHING bigger....
Can't wait to see what you guys are going to do next.
I used to perform in the musical. It was a lot of fun, but had to stop due to an injury.
I’m from the Galveston area and I agree they definitely need to check it out!
@@cjkool9464 I loved that musical. I had a friend in the 1970s who was in it. Did the Hustle on the stage after it was over, the backstage look was great. I was born and raised in Amarillo, now of the Houston area. So great you got to be in the musical.

I am one happy Texan today! You tell people about this place and they don't get it. It's "JUST" a gas station they say, and then they visit and they realize they've spent 40 minutes looking around and have contemplated whether they should buy a kayak from there. This is THE best place to stop if you're on a road trip. No lines waiting for gas, great food (they didn't show it, but they cook up fresh brisket sandwiches and have a whole lunch/dinner menu), and there are about a 100 bathroom stalls all perfectly clean every single time you visit. It's absolute perfection.
Fresh brisket sandwitches = Road Trip!!!
First time I ever visited Texas my friend from there was ADAMANT that we visited. I was skeptical at first. But man, when you're right you're right! Definitely one of the highlights of my trip
@@Snarl_Marx This place definitely understood the assignment. My friends and I definitely plan our Texas road trips so that our breaks are at Buccees. I realize that all food there isn't that and they were probably enjoying the nostalgia of what they ate when they were kids.
Listen to Jerry Jeff Walker’s “London homesick blues” and you’ll want to catch the next flight back to Texas 😊
@@jimmyholliman7287 I'm a Texan in the Houston area. I know that song. I hear it on the radio every now and then; probably on Country Legends 97.1 or 92.9 HD 2 or 3. The mainstream channels play that "polished pop country crap" (lyric from Josh Abbot Band's "My Texas") that comes out of Nashville. Nashville is lost.
😢I had to move to LA for work... It used to be kolaches every weekend 😢
“It’s like a beef morgue.” Ollie is on fire in this vid! Made my morning.
😂😂😂
I interrupted my husband's morning business meeting (he remote works) with the laughter from that one.
@@charlaynedMy husband works from home too and he knows I’m watching a Jolly video when he hears me laughing from his study. 😂
Didn’t expect at all this level of fun when we stepped into one of Buc-ees. Their jerkies are truly amazing by the way. I bought a lot of it in different flavors for my family back home. They swept it in a few seconds.
I’ve watched probably a hundred of their videos- this one has to be the absolute funniest. “This is like a gas station that let the intrusive thoughts win” 😂😂😂. “We got a bit carried away, much like your entire store”. Brilliant 😂
You know the food is good when Josh get emotionally angry over it 😂
I gave come to know that angry look well... 🤣 he looked like he was about to lose his cool during that lasts BBQ episode!
@@FlavorofMind He is about to scream on top of his lungs because how good it is
@@Zephriesz hahaha
Ye not sure o have seen him angry about food
My wife is from Texas. I visited for the first time maybe 7 years ago and one of the things we did was hit a Buc-Ee's. It was so surreal.
When I was trying to describe it to someone back on the East Coast, I put it this way: "What if an Old West trading post had evolved up to the current day in a world where gas stations, grocery stores, and convenience stores never existed." It's like it comes from another reality.
The fact that you can buy literal groceries, snacks, furniture, clothing, gas, a sea-glass encrusted ram's skull, and quality, freshly made food all in one place...Not to mention that they've got some of the cleanest & nicest restrooms I've ever seen while traveling around the US (I'm not sure what they're like in the U.K., but the European restrooms I've seen tend to be clean and you actually have some privacy). It's all so weird. But also somehow wonderful. And they apparently play their employees fairly well for that type of job.
They get paid really well but there's a few stories that they get held to an extremely high standard. Like a no tolerance policy kinda thing. Good stuff doe
@@typicalguardian2214The ones I’ve been to literally pay the lowest level employees like $50,000 annually. The store managers make over $100,000. Crazy for a gas station! 😂
They pride themselves on clean restrooms. Like some of their billboards just say they have clean restrooms. Go there nearly any time of the day and there will at least 1 employee cleaning them
The best way to describe Bucc-ee’s to people is to say it’s the Disneyland of gas stations. Thanks for enjoying our state’s attraction. When you travel here in Texas Bucc-ee’s is a must. We do hate that they expanded Bucc-ee’s to other states though. It’s supposed to be our little secret. 😅
It's wawa if wawa did steroids, absorbed Mark McGuire, then fed him with a diet of pure cocaine and a 90/10 mix of more steroids and water
I wish you'd have put prices next to these. Thanks for all your hard work.
I think, in the past six months when I began binge-watching this channel, this is my favorite episode. Terry Black's and El Dorado are right up there, too. Well done, team.
"How do they put the sausage and cheese in?!?"
Ollie: "Life finds a way..."
😂😂😂😂
What a mind he has.. 🤣
I need a part two of trying more Bucees food because there’s so much more you didn’t get to cover, like the brisket sandwiches and burritos! Also, don’t knock on the pickled eggs till you’ve tried em!
Edit: they didn’t even check out the hundreds of flavors at the soda fountain either!!
HEYYYYYY CHOPPIN BRISKET
The fact they didn’t get brisket is an amateur move
Yes! I was just going to say that! The chopped brisket sandwiches are so good! Oh, and the hot apple pies are so good too! I spend like $80 whenever I go to Buc-ee's.
My go to is the chicken burrito
Agreed!! BBQ, candy, pickles, etc...
I’m happy to see how you two show so much love to my home state ❤
When Texans leave the great state of Texas, we yearn for Buc-ees. When we return, it doesn't feel like we've come home until we visit the first Buc-ees we encounter.
They're all over the US.
3:58 - Ollie knew at this very instant that the team had walked into it. "The sausage and the bun have a special kind of hug." I can't breathe. Everything from that point on was comedy gold. Do you suppose the sugar has finally left Ollie's system?
He's so funny!
5:50 “where does this stuff come from in ur brain” we all have been wondering for years what goes on inside of Ollie’s mind Josh 😂
Someday maybe science can give us the answers as to what's inside... 🤣
Just love your videos. I needed some joy and I found it in your videos. I live in Corpus Christi, Texas. Don't worry about EVs Buc-ees has a row of charging stations.
Love watching you guys (Juno too). Hope you enjoyed my home state of Texas.
How in the world can you go to Buckee’s on a food trip and NOT try the brisket?!? It’s what the whole place smells of from the moment you walk inside!
Their brisket is ok but the greatest.
@@HankGrill that isn’t a sentence that makes sense.
@@Arkiejuice he probably meant to say “it’s ok but not the greatest”
Maybe because brisket is only served at morning which was a big disappointment
@@ricardog.f.6861 I’ve never been to a Buc-ee’s any time of day when there wasn’t brisket available.
Ahhh! Once again, my Texan heart grows three sizes (and that's not just the medical result of too many stops at Buc-ee's). While the Buc-ee's chain is now spreading to other states (I like to think of each of them as a Texas embassy), it will always be a tried and true Texan masterpiece, and a mandatory stop on any roadtrip across the state. Thanks for showing my home some love, gents!
I’ve always gone to the one in South Carolina but dam is it good.
😂😂😂 “Texas embassy” hilarious.
Where else are they going? I hope Pennsylvania is on that list. I'd go there just for breakfast or lunch; Michelin stars mean little to a classless northern brute like me. Goooooo Bucee's. 👍👍
We got one here I think a couple years ago now, and it is honestly amazing.
I am very pleased to welcome these Texan embassies to TN and GA. It's already a mandatory stop from Nashville to Oak Ridge/Knoxville.
We love going to Buc-ee's! We've been to 4 locations already and are trying to visit every one of them!
The Texas sausage on a stick is true delicacy. They’re usually deep fried, that’s partly why they’re so good
As a Texan who loves a good Bucees trip, this video really made me smile. Hope y’all had fun 😁
Personally buccees is over rated
I wish we had Buc-Ee's in Savannah!

There. NEEDS. To be a part two where you guys go back for lunch and have their bbq/sandwiches and stuff 🙏
Please 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Yeah, I can't believe they skipped the BBQ and the burritos!
Yes, deep fried potato chip, pickled pigeon eggs, okra and everything else!
Yesss
I'm old. The small Native American towns I lived in in Oklahoma had General Stores, just like Sam Drucker's store in the old Petticoat Junction tv show or any western.
When you exclaimed "pickled eggs in a jar!", I had a flash back to my childhood, reaching my arm to mid way up my bicep into an enormous jar of cold pickles or pickled eggs with never a thought as to germs because everyone did that.
This was my first Buc-ee’s location too. My army unit was busing to the US and Mexican border and we stopped at that exact Buc-ee’s at 3am. One of the most beautiful things I’ve ever experienced
I feel sorry that yall got the Cherry Maple jerky. I would have gone with the Bohemian Garlic flavor. That said, I'm happy that yall loved Buc-ee's! It is truly an experience and for those of us that live close to one, it is the ONLY option for fueling up the vehicles as well as filling up the bellies!
I think the jerky dealer saw a chance to move slow product. I would've gone for one of the other flavors, too. Anything smokey would've done it for me. =)
Bohemian garlic is THE BEST .
Bohemian Garlic is my favorite! I get it on the way there and in the way back!
@@jamesanthony8438 Not from Texas and never been but as soon as I heard that flavor I know the guy was playing them
that one's great! I also liked the peppered jerky when I went down there to visit, so good that we actually bought some online to be shipped to us🤣
I was waiting for this!!! BTW kolache is the Americanized version of kolach, which is a Czech dessert containing fruit inside! Not far from Austin there's an enormous bakery called Czech Stop (West, TX) where Czech immigrants settled in Texas.
My family has been at getting kolachies from Czech Stop for decades. Everytime we pass through town we make sure to be hungry. My sister lives in SA and mandatory for us to pick up a box when visiting. We don't exchange hugs when greeting... just boxes of pastries.
kolac is just a word for dessert
Hold On. I have Polish friends who claim Kolache [with the e] is Polish. They call the sausage rolls Klobasnike [y]. Yes, Czech and Polish are cousins, same general area of Eastern Europe.
Ok, West is "not far from Austin" by Texas standards. Anywhere else 100 miles is a pretty good distance. 😉😅
@@Objective-Observer It came from Czech immigrants who settled in TX, then they did a bit of fusion with Texas sausage in the same bread as the sweet Kolaches. The name sticks around but really you can only get savory kolaches like this in TX.
I'm Texan and have been to Buc-ee's many times and somehow have never tried their original food. This video convinced me to go do that, thank you
New to your channel and I have never laughed so much. THANKS
Buc-ee's isn't just a gas station. It's an experience.
It's a cult a good one 😂
It actually is the ideal of a Texas gas station Disney land.

12:09 The sound effect after “They’re maybe the best nuts I’ve ever had” has me dying, thank you to the editors 😂
Glad y’all got to experience Bucee’s in person! There are a million things you didn’t get to try that are also delicious (like the savory beaver nuggets), but hey, it means you get to do a return trip eventually 😊
omg pls give your suggestions
lol that's the sound from metal gear solid, they put it to good use 😂
@@BostonBlues omg i have always wondered where that came from
@@junipark8101 the spicy/savory beaver nuggets, anything with brisket in it (not as good as brisket from an actual barbecue place, but pretty solid), the other kolache flavors, any of the gummy candy

We are getting a Buccees here in Colorado about an hour north of Denver and I can't wait to visit one and shop. It opens next year can't wait. Love watching yourvideos, you guys are hilarious!!!! Love from Denver
"If I'm passing by a Buc-ees and I'm feeling a bit peckish" is the most British thing I've heard yet
The three food groups thing makes me think of the Disney Atlantis film when the cook said he had the 4 basic food groups. "Beans, Bacon, Whiskey, and Lard".
We just recently got a Buc ees here in Springfield, Missouri, and I have to say they have great snacks. The jerky is awesome, but I love that they have sugar free treats too.
