Great tip, glad I took a break from riding around the property on a 4wd in the snow. Even after the power came back on I still had to go for another ride. Later.
The manufacture set them up like that for better geometry based on how they intended the machine to be used. shorter wheel base for better turning (behind the fork) more stability for top speed longer wheel base in front of the fork

Why do some of the bikes have the axle in front of the lower fork tubes and some have the axle behind the lower tubes
