I’m not usually a fan of matte finishes, but this suits is quite well, especially with the black wheels! When machine polishing Range Rovers I’m so pleased when they have a panoramic roof, as it save hours of polishing, which allows me to concentrate on perfecting other areas. I bet they were gutted that they had to wrap the whole top 😂
Thanks for the upload John and great craftsmanship from the guys there. I'm a perfectionist and take pride in my work and its great to see others being thorough and professional also. I think 260 miles is a fair trek for me to pay you a visit unfortunately. Anyway all the best and stay safe everyone 👍🏼
Wow wow wow! More colaberations like this John, mix it up a bit dont get me wrong you do an excellent job ,but it's nice to see, like minded people, I like the way they prep the cars before wrapping .
You can tellwhen someone is good at their job. 1 they make it look easy 2 the employer does not care about their looks. Nice too see professionals at work.
was the kingsmen badge on the grill a bit weird? wrap wise? edges did not look straight.. might just be my eyes! great work on that, I'm very reluctant to have any of my cars wrapped. Too much chance of paint damage which you wont see until it's off.
I agree with you the cutting in did look not great and to me the Kingsman letters on the bonnet at the start of the video look all wonky, OCD kicking in lol
Truly amazing to see the care and pride taken at that company. The finish looked 1st class. Looked like after the film was applied they then put a clear coating on-top of the film? Is this to help keep the mud/dirt off the car and make it easier to keep clean ?
1 : 10 means 1 part product to 10 parts water. (so total unit or parts is 11) That is not 10%. 100ml of product to 1000ml of water means total amount of product is 1100ml so 100/1100ml = 9%. Kind of close. so 10% PIR or concentration is 1 : 9 1 part product to 9 parts water (total parts is 10). 100ml product for 900ml water. that = 1000ml total liquid and 100ml is that is product so its 10% PIR.
It is amazing to see how far film has come in the last twenty years. I truly do not understand the desire to have a matte finish vs a high gloss. The "Wax is dead" mantra says it all I guess. Some people are looking for low maintenance finishes regardless of the brand purchased because they only want the car to meet their utilitarian needs and a glossy colored product requires work and the look that they don't value. Diversity.
it suits certain things I think Kyle Im not sure but for example I dont think a matt finish would suit an older car like my E46. But it can work with say more modern cars.. not sure really.
Shame but trying to fit a whole wrap transformation that takes three days into a short video isn't easy, Jon did a great job, as the guys wanted to show a real life fitting of wrap not the usual glamour and fake nonsense like you see on the TV these days.
no thanks for feeding this back. I always just upload with default settings. Sometimes YT puts 1 add break like at the end. Other times it sticks like to 5-6 in. Ive just gone in and deleted these down to 2 which is a bit more sensible. no idea why it does it so randomly, too many add breaks suxs.
Ive got a brand new bonnet sitting there for when I spray it. But I might get the car wrapped with freshlayers. I sort of want to get the E36 project finished first. Then have a good think about the clubby. clutch is on the way out with the clubby as well :(
@@ForensicDetailing no way that E36 will never be finished! 😂 although it really seems to be coming together nicely. Externally, just the bootlid and mirrors to go? The paint and detail? Those guys a fresh layers really seem to know what they are doing. Thanks for sharing this content.
yer I mean at the moment the E36 is really just rear quarter rust and bootlid and really its kind of done. E46 though is full paint, front lower splitter things, disks pads, suspension, new arb, new clutch and flywheel, new tyres :( will just get things slowly done month by month when I have the cash
Cracking job by the guys at Freshlayers.
This is pure artistry... A car so beautiful I wouldn't dare to take it outside 😮

I’m sure this is much more difficult than it looks! Very nice work gentleman.

just a ceramic coating for vinyl mate, yer its just there to help maintain the finish.
Look nice to work with that stuff
Which color film did you guys use? Great job!
Can you help me out here pal so when people on the fb groups are saying they use product at 10 % does this mean 10/1

I just want to know what kind of fabric theyre using to cover the cars with before showing the customer.
i think it comes with the air shroud system so if you google this it should say. Its really thin and very very light. www.airshroud.com/

Nice work but not my cuppa tea
Got fed up with this after the 5th ad break

@@ForensicDetailing Thanks for the reply and yes two ads is acceptable, Always enjoy your uploads regardless 👍
@@ForensicDetailing do you have to have ads or can they be removed all together
@@aaronbell8527 no you can turn them off but you dont get any money for the content :(
Are you going to have another go at the E46 bonnet?

This must have been filmed pre lockdown...
correct
All the vidoes done with Jon have been prior to lockdown.
Great video, awful music 🤮
He should have paid the xtra and had the panoramic roof
Evoque....??
Hi 👋 😊 please make a video on how to make car Shampoo 🧴
dirty wheel arches tut tut
Won’t last long if they keep trashing the car in the mud going hunting
