@@squirreljones3595 I have always been taught of the mystery of the Rapture. My son had listened to FAI and changed his belief about the Rapture. I have to say this teaching seemed to pull everything, together for me. Especially of the knowledge of how EVIL of times we are living in, I never could have believed. And just waiting for JESUS to just call me up in the air for a time. Before the 7 years begin? or at least in the middle before things really get bad? How much more EVIL can things get? And believe me I want to be on one of those horses and slay the EVIL ones. After this message I thought to myself. There was ONE BIRTH, ONE CRUCIFIXION. ONE RESURRECTION, so why would there be two RETURNS OF CHRIST JESUS OUR KING? Also, remember Lazarus? JESUS did not bring him back to life until the 4th day. Think about that hmmm. It is not an argument and I am no Bible scholar. The most important message is the GOSPEL of JESUS CHRIST OUR SAVIOR. This is the Good News.

Great tribulation is not God's wrath; it is the intensified brutal persecution of Christians throughout the world. You should read Foxe's Book of Martyrs: it documents a tiny fraction of the tribulation (brutal murderous persecution) that saints have been subject to from the very early days of the church. Any so-called Christian that believes they are not subject to tribulation will more than likely be willing to renounce Christ in order to prevent themselves from being brutally murdered like the saints in Foxe's Book of Martyrs. Check yourself to see if you are truly in the faith.
@@BornAgain490 the phrase God's wrath is used 14 times in the Revelation. The whole period is the Lamb and God's wrath. We face persecution like being beheaded or being fed to lions but that is persecution not God's wrath. People killed the apostles not God. There is no way we would survive God's wrath in the Trib so we are removed beforehand. You can stick with your works based redeemer I will stay with my God of Grace.

I don't hold to works based salvation. How you concluded that is on you. I am saved by God's grace alone.
How many resurrection of the saints is there? The answer is "one". See 1 Thessalonians 4:16 and Revelation 20:4-6. When is the first resurrection of the saints? The answer is "after great tribulation". See Revelation 20:4-6, Matthew 24:29-31, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17.
If you are Christ's, He will strengthen and guide you through great tribulation and redeem you before the wrath of God is poured out. Maranatha.

I find it interesting that very few people will even engage in any discussion when I post these videos. The most I usually get is, "Oh well, I guess we'll see." I say this because for me, personally, grasping the concept of endurance to the end with the promise of God's protection and covering in the end times has truly encouraged me, given me peace, fired me up with a strong sense of the purpose of my walk in this world. It's similar to my experience with being Torah-observant "gentile" Christian... nobody gets it until they try it. I started grasping the unscriptural basis for pre-trib rapture in about 2008, when the scriptures in the Revelation jumped out to me about enduring to the end, the "cowardly" not inheriting the kingdom, the persecution of the saints really making God angry and bringing judgement, and the correlation with the 10 plagues of Egypt and God's protection and guidance of his people through all of that, right to edge of the sea with an army at their backs. And don't even get me started about what Isaiah and Ezekiel say on the matter. I no longer say "Maranatha" for my own sake, at all. I am not afraid. But I do say it for the innocents that are suffering now, the children, the poor of the Earth, and for the sake of God's Name and reputation. Hurry, please, Yeshua....the wickedness and evil that people are doing to them is a blasphemy and a horrible stench that rises to Your nostrils, please come soon and judge them, make it stop. Amen.
Something interesting that came to my mind in light of the scriptural understanding of us being transformed and returning to judge with Him: What if we are given a chance to walk through the walls (unable to be harmed) of the homes of our own children/families/ friends/ world leaders/ you name it, to convince them and give them a chance to repent? Could this be a way that the Father "sanctifies" (sets apart) our families through our faith? Wow.

To put it as simply as I possibly as I can, the endurance of the saints is all about the saints enduring trubulation as we wait for the second coming of Christ and the one and only rapture.
You are correct.!!!!! There never was a coming 7 years before the 2nd coming. And do not throw Matt.24:30 into the mix. That's a separate event, has nothing to do with a 2 nd coming or a so called rapture. The full preterists insist that Matt 24:30 is a 1st century 2nd coming , complete nonsense. "Coming on the clouds is a metaphor of impending judgement upon the covenant breakers from Matt 23.!!!! Nothing to do with 21st century anybody.!!!!!!;

These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe." It's just so clear. I'm amazed people just can't see it when it's right under their noses.
you made a very strong case for the 2nd coming but I don't see anything in your post that prevents a pre-trib rapture or any rapture for that matter. Reading 2nd thes 2:1thru4 I read it as follows coming and gathering are separated by the word "and" This does not necessarily mean they are the same event or that they must happen at the same time. pre-trib teaching is that the rapture and 2nd coming are separate and not the same events More than that the word "it" in verse 3 refers back to the Day of the Lord at the end of verse 2. If that is true then , the 2 events apostacy and man of lawlessness is revealled must happen before the day of the Lord Happens. This would suport the idea that 2nd Thes verifies that the Thes people could not be in the day of the Lord. because the 2 mentioned events have not yet happened. Why then do some people say that this would be a strike against a pre-trib rapture? All that 2nd thes 2 does is places a falling away and the revealing of the man of sin is before the Day of the Lord ( having not happened yet at the time of the 2nd Thes Letter.) Although i don't put this set of verses as a prevention of the pre-trib rapture I don't call it a rapture verse either. I do place 1st Thes.4;:13 thru 18 as suport for the rapture , but not having any signs preceeding the rapture. The Rapture has no event required before it manifests. I do feel there is much scripture suport to place the rapture event prior to the 7 year tribulation period. No one scripture is a slam dunk for pre-trib but a rapture is in the overall picture. Would appreciate any reply as to why 2nd Thes 2 1-4 would reject a rapture at any time in the future. Thanks and God Bless

Honestly I have trouble buying into someone's belief system when it is black and white: pre-trib, post, au millennial, mid....Calvanism v. Armenian. How many missed Him on His 1st advent and those that did in Luke 2 were filled with the Holy Spirit and directed by Him to the location where Jesus was. He is the Way, He is the Truth, He is the Life, in Him and in Him alone is the answer. Fleshing out scripture and telling God that He can only come this way and we're telling others that this is the way God is going to operate in the future is to me almost one of arrogance. Wisdom I think dictates that we be open to whatever is going to happen knowing that God is sovereign and His way will be filled with wonder. Luke 2 Eph 4:13 I think continually be filled with the Spirit. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God that in due time he may lift you up

Will those who are alive but are not believers and not fighting in the battle of armeageddon be the ones to repopulate the earth during the millenial kingdom? Possibly referenced in zechariah/14-16?

VISION: the other day, Jesus showed me how i would die. It was a vision whilst i was driving through a roundabout in Australia. It was painless and sudden whereby i did not see it coming it was out of the blue, but not an accident, with a white flash of a white wing of feathers, but very fast. I think it was the wing if an angel, Gods angel and the event was the Rapture. Glory to YHWH. AMEN

Was reading in Matthew this morning that when the earthquake occurred at the time jesus gave up His spirit that there were ppl that rose out of the graves and after Jesus was raised they went into Jerusalem and we're seen by many... 2 verses in Matthew that are not mentioned elsewhere... No cross references or anything... What happened here?
In those days whenever someone died they went to Hades, saint or sinner. The saints didnt suffer but the sinner did. When Jesus died he went to Hades and released the souls of the saints and they were seen by other people. Thats what its talking about.

1 Thessalonians 4 makes it perfectly clear that those who are alive will NOT precede those who have fallen asleep. That completely destroys the pre-tribulation rapture. The dead in Christ shall rise FIRST.

The dead in Christ are like alpha company and us who are alive are like bravo company. God is a God of order. We just wait our turn so to speak.
It's known as the blessed hope. We are not appointed to wrath.
It's the time of Jacob's trouble. Jacob = Israel. God makes a huge distinction between Israel and the church. Rightly dividing the scripture teaches this.

Those who are invited unto the supper of the Lamb are Christ's believers and that includes the OT chosen people. No where the word "rapture/raptured church" written in that verse.

Well Jesus, the apostles and many believers have been through tribulation. Christians today are martyred, go through tribulation. Are we better than Jesus? Are we Better than those before us that died holding firm to God?

Do you believe Rev 19:11-16 with Jesus on the white horse is the second coming? I had always assumed it was, but recently heard someone argue that it was not - they argued that here He is on a white horse and coming for the battle of Armageddon, while His second coming is in the clouds with the sound of a trumpet. (Just because different passages do not include the same details to me does not mean they cannot be the same event, ie, I always assumed He was coming at the sound of a trumpet riding on a white horse in the clouds for the battle of Armageddon). They do believe in meeting the Lord in the air (rapture) but it is at the last trumpet-no pre-tribulation rapture found in Scripture. Only a second coming, when the dead in Christ are raised and those left alive will be caught up. That is at the last trumpet.

The word "parousia" does not appear in the LXX version of Deut 33:2. It uses heko in the present, active, indicative. This is not a reference to a future coming. None of the English bibles translate this as a future tense.
Many believe none are saved at this time. Biblically God saves through out it all. Those who refuse the mark are considered holy and saved. Read Revelation 14 : 13 "...Blessed are the dead, which die in the Lord from Henceforth..." And tell me no one is saved during the tribulation.

Neither in 1Cor 15 or 1 Thess.4:14. 14 says that God will bring those that Sleep in Jesus. But how and when do they get to be with Him? Whenever I hear pastors saying we dont have to worry about the trib, ive always had a "catch in my spirit" or just wasnt "feeling it" with respect to the pre-trib theory. After seeing this presentation, i tend to endorse the post trib, or at least, a mid-trb view. Dont get me wrong, id love to see a pre-trib event,but i never saw it doctrinally,either... i gues the old saying that "if it sounds too good to be true,it probably is" would apply to pre-trib theory. The coming of the Messiah was originally thought to be one coming in Old Testament times. But as it turned out, there are obviously two phases to that coming, many would say two comings. The first and second comings. So the reasoning that one can branch into two is not new in eschatology.
Those were impressive verses that Joel presented from the Old Testament about the resurrection, but not one reference mentioned the rapture, that is, resurrection plus the translation of the living into glorified bodies. Why, because it is a separate event. The second advent, just like the first, has two phases. Joel announces in a stern voice, Rev 20...this is the first resurrection, without any comment to what he's saying. We know immediately it is not the first resurrection. Jesus would be the first resurrection, and then the saints that appeared walking around Jerusalem. And who was this captivity He took to heaven, another resurrection.Psa 68:18, Eph 4:8. And let's not forget about the resurrection of the two witnesses, Rev 11:11,12 So then we conclude, that this is not the first resurrection in TIME, but rather the first resurrection in TYPE, the final one before the resurrection, the second type, of the condemned. Rev 20:5,6 Also, there are no chariots of fire with thrones and flaming wheels mentioned in the rapture, no riders on horses, clearly a separate event from the second advent to the earth.
The first resurrection is the resurrection of Jesus. We have part in his resurrection through our faith in Him who has brought our souls back to life which were dead in our sins. Rev 20:4-6 are a present reality to believers.

As a new Christian (saved July 2021) I'm blown away by the inferred doctrines of man that are widely tolerated in the body of Christ (Calvinism, pre-trib, OSAS...etc). I'm currently seeking a local church I want to be Shephered by.
How on earth as a new Christian am I supposed to allow myself to be led by a Pastor who can't CLEARLY see there is NO PRE-TRIB RAPTURE?!?! Seriously, I understand that the whole eschatology thing is kinda vague and fuzzy, but the view that you are trashing actually does help things make a lot more sense, even if it is not explicitly spelled out in detail.
Another point is a bit fuzzy as well. Dispensation theology also helps explain a few things. Old Testament saints were saved by faith in God, trusting Him to do what He said He would, and trying as best they could to be upright and righteous. After Moses, pretty much the same, plus following the Torah. But while that was still in effect during the time of Christ's ministry, during that time they were also expected to believe that Jesus was the Messiah and that He was come to usher in the Kingdom. Jesus did not preach to believe on His death, burial, and resurrection; and neither did His disciples, at least not until some time after His resurrection. So how were those people saved? It was not from the Gospel Paul preached, at least not until Paul got converted and started preaching, so it appears that there are some type of dispensations in there somewhere.
I understand that you don't like it, and personally I'd rather prefer that things were spelled out more plainly, but I've looked into this as deeply as is really possible for a non scholarly lay person and it just seems like when all is said and done -- there's something funny going on with all of the eschatological positions. I can see why Mike Heiser tried to steer clear of the whole topic; it's a real can of worms, however, I don't see that it is anything to divide over or get distraught about. Isaiah 40 is a great way to refute Jehovah's Witness claim that Jesus is not God. If it were so, then do they expect two different events? A coming of Jehovah and another coming of Jesus? - It's clear that the one coming is Jesus which is GOD and also Jehovah!
With all his saints... "saints" or "holy ones" are the angels who shall accompany Christ to judgment. The term "saints" is used as "the angels" in the Old Testament. Apostle Paul who wrote the 1st and 2nd Thesallonians used the term "saints" which means the angels but Apostle Mathew, John, Mark, and Luke used the term "angels"

One is called the First Resurrection

There are many references in the OT and even in the NT that Jesus will return again with his angels; Matthew 24:29-31 is one example.

And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
Those who are invited unto the supper of the Lamb are Christ's believers and that includes the OT chosen people. No where the word "rapture/raptured church" written in that verse.

Never once in the Bible refer to the Church the Body of Christ as the literal “Bride of Christ.” that is only a figure of speech "NOT" to be taken as the literal bride of the lamb. It's a religious term, and frankly, it is a core doctrine of the Roman Catholic and it is nothing more than a man-made concept, a tradition of men, aimed at deceiving and robbing us of the clarity of God’s Word, and furthering a man-made theological system.
It clearly stated in the Bible that the new/holly Jerusalem is the literal wife of Jesus and the beleivers are the fruits/sons and daughters, so when we get to the millial reign with Jesus we going to eat with Him at his marriage. And of course, no such thing as so-called "the church as the bride" because secret rapture is fake news, lols. we all gonna get martyred when the time comes :)
