That's true. A lot of random viewers don't have the experience to understand that we're looking at lifetime addiction. While their actions aren't reasonable, it's not surprising. I also simply can't imagine standing and walking with 600+ lbs on my frame. The ones who give it their best really are doing something amazing.

Yea unfortunately Dr.Now is not there to treat mental problems, he puts them to the test to see if they have the conviction and mental strength to lose weight, a lot of them just hop in a car is go to texas without really confronting any inner demons first. really the sugary is just an aid, like... idk... diet pills to help them lose weight but at the end of the day its all on them, i wish he would tell them to really get down to what's making some of them spiral so much and talk with a professional or someone they trust :/

This thing told you your total weight, your fat, your muscle, your skeletal structure, and your water. He said that his fat alone was 119 pounds, which was almost the weight of a friend of ours. I feel really sorry for the ones who became addicted to food as a coping mechanism after childhood abuse. I know what it's like to desperately want to erase the pain and fill your mind with something, anything in order to forget the suffering. My addiction was drugs, but I also struggled with EDs and self-harm. When you just can't take the pain anymore... I'm sorry for them, really. A kid will try to soothe the pain with what they can afford and it's often food. May those people find peace after all

That's sixty million people that have been sexually abused. Therefore, it's definitely possible that 40% of the people who were sexually abused are morbidly obese. Also, if you were sexually abused, please let us know how you coped without turning to food. If you were not sexually abused, please tell us how in the hell you know what it's like. Yes, I was raped at age 12 and 13. Yes, I am morbidly obese. But I don't think obesity is healthy in any way, shape or form. And I do not like being this big at all. Dieting can make people cranky. Even those who aren't obese knows this. Food can become a source of comfort, and when you take out one source of control, that person becomes agitated and will try to find another point, and that can end with making that person moody and even manipulative.

The most I ever weighed is 315. That was a year ago and now I 215. One thing I've learned is that no one will start taking any kind of diet seriously until THEY decide to. No one can force you to lose weight except for yourself. No one can make you diet or exercise but yourself. People have to want to change in order to actually achieve it.

Back in 2017 I slipped on my kitchen floor and broke my ankle in three places AND dislocated it. This is when I found out I had excellent healthcare, but I also gained 25 pds where I topped out at 195! It took me 7 months to lose 10 pds w/o trying, I just ate less. Even though I wasn’t going to let myself get above 200, I’m now setting another ten pound loss in 3 months. My self control is what prevented me from gaining excessive weight, and even though I’m 185 pds, I’m still unhappy. The only one I can blame is myself, but I do understand those temptations. If these people would just cut back from a 15K calorie a day food intake to half that, and exercise like walking, just imagine how much easier their lives would be.

If dangerously-obese people cannot be trusted to lose weight on their own, they shouldn't be allowed to just go home and then continue to shovel high-calorie crap in their mouths.
