Love, love, love this video!!!! Truthfully, I love all your videos but this one hit home. I've put off trying to FMQ and you video took some of the fear out of it for me. I love that you aren't a Quiltzilla about the rules but encourage us to do what right for us!!!! Thank you for all you do!
I'm Ethel, a new quilter. My former employer suggested that I volunteer at the local community center. Quilting is what I'm learning from the masters. All the techniques that you offer are SO helpful and inspiring. God Bless you.
If it hadn’t been for you, I wouldn’t have started free motion quilting. My stitching was just as bad, if not worse. I’m now two quilts in and I’m still working on my stitch length and controlling my hand motions. You’re right that you need to start somewhere. I love my quilt and my daughter loved it so much she asked that I make one for her too. So glad I started. Thank you for this video. ❤❤
Thank you!!!! I can't believe it I'm doing it I'm Freemotion Quilting 🤸♀️🥳❤I'm so happy I feel like dancing. Thank you for all your great tips and support, I appreciate it greatly you are the best
This is by far and away the best how to video I’ve EVER seen on free motion quilting!!! Other presenters just seem to assume you can see inside their head. 😂 The details you included are exactly what newbies need! Yes, details!!! And I’m not a newbie, but I can always learn stuff and I did appreciate the info on needle and thread and hv been hvg some issues myself in switching from cotton to Glide thread. I like your idea of finding one kind that works and sticking with that! Our heads are too full of problems, these days, to hold a bunch of extra stuff. Unfortunately, I bought a whole bunch of colors of glide to use on some projects, so I’m committed to figuring it out! 😬 Re: burying thread tails: I always used to bury all my thread tails. But it took so long and was so tedious that it took all the fun out of quilting! Then one day it dawned on me: (if you’ve ever had to remove some quilting stitches, you know how hard it is to get those stitches out!) If they’re that hard to get out when I’m TRYING to remove them, what are the chances they’re going to come out by themselves? Zero! I highly doubt they will EVER come out by themselves! So now I don’t worry about burying the tails. ❤ KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I'm with you Susan...who has time to bury threads? LOL🤣 Nope!!! Thank you for all of your kind words❤️ Glide thread is a great one! That would be my second choice to Omni✅
I have been quilting for 3 months my first quilt was a double wedding ring.. and the quilt shop I went to said don’t do that it’s to hard!! I was like I own a seem ripper.. why not!!! Yes I did use it a lot.. but I learned so much.. and it turned out beautiful to me
Thank you, Tracy! This was the best video on free motion quilting I‘ve ever seen. You give me the courage to try it myself. You are a great teacher! Greetings from Germany, Berit
No need to apologize for cuddle time with your beautiful granddaughter.❤❤ So precious. Thank you so much for this video. I have never felt successful when quilting on my domestic sewing machine. I’m here to say, I’ll be going back to give it another try. 💐💐
Great video. I am at about your level of FMQ. I don't bury my thread ends either. BUT, I just learned something that makes cutting the bobbin thread easier by not having to turn the quilt over to the back. When you lock stitch (back & forth) at the end, snip your upper thread. Place your fabric so your needle will be in the same spot as you ended. Then do as you did in the beginning to pull of the bobbin. Drop needle and lift. Pull the clipped thread to pull up bobbin and now you can clip bobbin thread without turning quilt over.
I sew on a Juki also. I do not bury my threads, unless it is a show quilt. I make quilts to love and use. There is no single words of advice more important than "just get started." My eye sight is not as good as it used to be but my joy in quilting is ever increasing. Thank you Tracy.
Thank you so much! This is the very BEST video I have seen on quilting on my machine! Going to do my first today! Feeling more confident after watching your instructions!!!!!!!
This video is AWESOME! I wish it was around when I first started FMQ. I watched so many FMQ videos, but this is by far the best: gives one the confidence to do it/continue doing it and doesn't overwhelm with too much information ("just the facts, ma'am"). Thanks, Tracy!! Love your channel!!
I’m traveling through a mountainous area and I keep losing service. This is going to be the longest watch for one of your videos ever😂😂 I loved seeing J, what a sweetie 🥰 I really like your narration when you’re FMQ’ing, “stop-hands-stop-hands….., it’s very helpful.
Brilliant tutorial, I realise now one of the many things I did wrong when I practiced free motion quilting, was not stopping to move my hands! I just couldn't stop for some reason, like some quilt police was chasing me and had to carry on no matter how awkward the angle of my hands were, thank you ❤
I’ve been a fan of your quilting site for quite sometime and have no idea how I missed you sharing this particular quilt…unless this is the first time. Your first time FMQ…is beautiful. I love the end result and not only is the quilt gorgeous, it looks cozy with the perfect texturing which I personally love. You are a gem…
Thank you so much for the support of my channel Linda❣️I made the first fmq quilt well before I started my sewing channel✅ But I did finish it as a UFO video on my channel...you could check that out for more info on it❤️
Thank you! This is just the video I needed to finally get the nerve to finish a quilt top I made 4 years ago! 😂 It's sandwiched, adhesive basted and ready to go but I've been scared. It's a rather large quilt and all I have is a small neck machine. That's part of my fear too!
I've been dying to try free motion quilting but I've been too nervous about it. I've also watched tons of videos trying to get an understanding of how to get started and your video is the best one out there!
“if you feel like things are getting out of control just stop “ that’s advice that should be on everyone’s personal top 10 guidelines to live by list. This video went by so fast. I did learn plenty of things I didn’t already know. The thing with the bobbin thread and pulling it to the back was perfectly explained. When I was just learning to sew and use my machine I did not understand that. I read it in the manual and a few books. Until this video I never saw it in pictures or a video. In my mind pulling it to the back just meant to the backside of the needle. The problem that caused took me years to figure out. It never occurred to me that the bobbin thread was causing the problem. Years and tons of frustration and two trips to the repairman that I didn’t need later he observed me sewing because he couldn’t reproduce the problem I was having. He immediately saw it and after he stopped laughing he explained. I don’t bury my threads. Ever. I’m still probably not going to do free motion quilting. If I change my mind I have an idea how to and I know where to find you. Excellent video. Your knack for patiently showing and explaining not only how but why is unrivaled. TFS.
So true...right!!??! Life's guidebook...Just stop if things start to spiral....I laugh but it's so true❣️ And hey when you change your mind about FMQ..I'll be here❤️
I am new to quilting and this video has given me the confidence to give FMQ a try. I have the same machine so this video is so helpful. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
I started this video, but will need to come back to it when I have more time to enjoy it. THANK YOU so much for sharing your journey. I dread FMQ, but I cannot afford to pay a longarmer, so I usually do straight line quilting - as little as needed. You are inspiring me to TRY.
Thank you for the reminder. I stopped quilting for over 20 years and I have restarted and found that I had forgotten how to free motion so I have been using my walking foot and doing line designs on my quilts. I want to get back to free motion because I remember how much fun it was. This video reminded me of things that I had completely forgotten. Thank you so much. I agree it is like doodling with thread.
I find it hard to re-learn after years of not quilting and also learning new things. But usually with deadlines for a gift 🙄. Realized my machine needed to be serviced and the tension was not my fault. Even so, I needed the walking foot for piecing. I just picked out all the quilting on a quilt to gift. Just stitch in the ditch, a friend told me I had to hold my hands mor like Traci to avoid puckering. Also did not follow other necessary tips for success because I was impatient. I am not sure if I will quilt this one again, tie it, or pay for quilting. But I think I will practice free motion on small quilts perhaps of ugly or sun faded fabrics for my cats or me. I wonder if FM can be used on potholders with Insulbright and batting.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you❣️ years ago, I took a free motion class and was constantly told it wasn’t good enough. I’ve sewn since I was 9, winning a few awards ... but I was discouraged with free motion and haven’t tried again. Your positivity is getting thru, I will try again. Along with some big stitch hand quilting. Almost anything with needle and thread
You're welcome Venita❣️ That's sad to me that person said that to you:( Remember ...YOU are good enough at the level YOU are at...❤️ Let me know if I can help with any questions you may have.❤️
Thank you for sharing your first one! I am new at quilting and am working on my first one ever! I know I'm making mistakes because I'm working and learning on skills I need, but it's very encouraging for you to share your beginnings! Thank you!
Haven’t free motion quilted in about 20 years and was only obtaining my muscle memory then. Little things that I need refresher on and your video covers items others don’t. Very well done. Now I am going back to my sample sandwich and work on my stitch length consistency and get that memory restarted! Thanks!
I know this video is a year old, but I just wanted to tell you how much this video speaks to me. I’m researching everything about quilting. I feel a calling, so to say. I don’t even have a sewing machine yet, but I’m buying one, hopefully, in a few weeks. Your videos are all so wonderful, with the tips you give and the encouragement for beginners. You’ve convinced me I can do this. I wasn’t sure about commenting until your beautiful granddaughter came in. I’m also a “Mimi”! My grandkids all call me Mimi, so when she came in I took it as a sign! Thank you for all of your help and encouragement. I will continue to watch and learn.
Thank you, so much. I tried free motion quilting before, but not great at all. I have made quilts for a year now. The piecing is great. Now because of you I will try again with free motion.
Tracy you are just the sweetest and a natural teacher. You have such a calling on your life. Inspired you are. God is absolutely good God bless from Texas.
Thank you Tracy for this wonderful video and I'd like to add your a wonderful teacher. I haven't tried free motion quilting yet but with what I learned from you tonight I sure will now. I'm going to watch this video over and over until I know I've got it.. Thanks Tracy... Terecia
Hi Tracy. Wow, I learned so much with this video. I've never done free motion, only stitch in the ditch. I'm going to watch this again with a notebook in front of me so I can remember the "Oh Wow!" directions! Thank you so very much! Take Care! ~~ Lynne
Thanks for showing your early works. Even with the beginner "mistakes", they are still lovely and loveable. You've inspired me to to actually give my quilts as gifts-- I didn't think they were good enough
the first quilt you show is gorgous! the stiches might not be up to your current day standard, but to hide a heart in each square for your daughter....? that is so precious and wholesome! ❤
Thank you so much for this video. I usually just straight line quilt, but I have tried free motion quilting, and I got so stressed. You have given me the courage to try it again.
I’ve learned that people never see what we see as far as our ‘mistakes’ (well maybe if they’re another quilter) they really only see the beauty of the quilt! An experienced quilter in my family has always said that the things we see as mistakes are always what make the work unique and special 😊
Thanks to you, I just started! I inherited my Mom’s JUKI TL 2010Q. I’ve made a lot of quilt tops but too intimidated to machine quilt! The pedal to the metal hack works great! On the border of my last crumb quilt, I quilted the grandkids’ names. It gives them something to look for when they stay at my Dad’s. I’m looking forward to trying out your brands of thread and needles. You are so right about the lint from the cotton thread!
Thanks Tracy I wish you were around when I started free motion. I do okay, not perfect, but good enough for the girls I run around with.😊 Your Granddaughter is beautiful. Don't apologize for your love for one another. Great to see.❤
Thanks so much for this video. I've used your Pool Noodle method for ages, but never knew you have the same Juki I have. Can't wait to try some of your tips to improve my FMQ!
this is wonderful. i need to see things demonstated and You did so much to help me! I needed to see the soecial foot and everything else . thank uou so much.
Oh thank you for showing how to stop and start. I use my walking foot when I do free motion. I guess you would say I walk my way around my quilt. I can use the other foot I suppose. But I haven't tried the other foot as of yet. The walking foot and I are getting along fantastic with what I am doing anyway. But, as I was saying. Thank you for showing the start and stop that you did right up close so it could be seen really well. I always did fairly well starting by guessing what the other channels said to do. But they never said how to stop. So my quilting was a mix match of pulling the thread up or taking the tail of the thread and hiding it inside the quilt. I did this both starting and stopping. Sometimes I just messed up. But the end. I always had to hide it with hand sewing inside the batting. Wow what a game changer. Nope, never plan to compete with my quilts. I just like playing around and owning my mistakes. My quilt my way. Ha I really enjoy your channel.
TY! TY! TY! for sharing your journey with the thread and learning FMQ> I was also told I MUST use 100% cotton thread, on 100% cotton quilt shop only fabric and wool batting if I wanted my quilts to last more than a cpl years. Well I knew that wasn't so bc I have used walmart fabric most of my quilting and garment sewing life... bc it was what I could afford. I now have a quilt that is 32 yrs old made from walmart fabric, dual duty thread and poly batting. AND it is an amazing. I DID hand quilt all my quilts till recently but have now jumped into the FMQ pool... very cautiously lol. TFS your video it was very informative.
This is one of the best videos I have seen with instruction for the super beginner like me! I love how you show in detail the foot, how to thread, how to move your hands, etc. Great video Tracy, thank you!
This is such a helpful video! Thank you so much! I’m goijng to go have fun practicing! I’ve been too intimidated to try but now I feel like I can actually do it!
I think all the little mistakes and bumps along the way are what make a quilt special. I looked at the quilt you thought was done not so perfect and I thought it was absolutely beautiful!! It was something I would have bought at a market and been excited to get it home!!
Soooo sorrry!!! That I didn’t get back to you about your tutorial. I got so busy with a difficult quilt that I’m doing QAYG. It took me 1 month just to put the 8, 20” blocks together. Now working on the sashes. Loved your presentation…but I love just about all your work. Thanks BJ. PS I have now way to show you what I’m doing 😢
Great video, thank you. I’ve been wanting to learn FMQ for some time now, and your video has inspired me to jump in and give it a go. Once again, you have a way of taking the “scariness” out of things. It’s like it’s no big deal, just do it. Thank you so much, and God bless you. ❤
Thank you so much! I am trying to learn FMQ and I haven't actually just sat down and practiced. A little fearful. But I'm going all in now. Love all ur vids but I needed to watch this one!!
I love how you teach this I have been so afraid to free motion quilting I just do straight line or stitch in the ditch . Now I’m going to just jump in there and practice Thank you you make it look so easy . I will let you know how I’m doing or when I free motion my first quilt . Tracy you are awesome
Holey moley girl! Why on earth would you be embarrassed by the quilting on that first quilt for your daughter? It looks intricate and deliberate. Don't tell anyone it has mistakes, and they'll never know. I love your videos. Even though i don't have funds to support you financially, I can be a cheerleader! ❤❤❤
I have been struggling with free motion quilting but after watching your video I have got it! Thank you so much I didn't think I would ever master it ❤
Thank you Tracy! Your instructions make it look so easy! I’ve tried (a few years back) free motion quilting. I actually got pretty good with no instructions except a few videos. But things happened and I put everything down. So now I’m ready to get started once more. I hope ( with lots of practice) I can do half as good as you ! Thank you again for your encouragement
You’re such an honest and amazing teacher. No frills, no upsales pitches…just truly what works for you Miss Tracy. This is why so many people love your channel. Even though I have a long arm, I learned more about needle and threads in this video than I did the past 3 yrs of quilting. So thank you for that. 😊 by the way, your granddaughter is just adorable. What a beauty. 😌 Have a most marvelous weekend. It’s Friday…wahoo. Now to finish the strawberry challenge top…these hour glasses aka broken dishes do not like me. 😝 but I shall conquer!!! 🤪 hubby is loving the color combo so far. He says you made a great pattern. 🤗
Awe Debbie...you are sweet❣️ It really is amazing once you understand the basic thread/needle knowledge how it changes the way you look at sewing in general. I think too many always talk about so many threads and needles at once that it confuses people🤷🏻♀️ YAY it's the weekend❤️
I did 2 quilts on my sewing machine, Ick. Went and bought a longarm. Tried freemotion on that for 6 mos., Ick, so I bought automation! 😂 Poly thread is SO much better with a TS 14 or 16 needle. It seems to not shrink up and make the quilt get as wrinkley. Angela is my favorite quilter on YT!
I'm not a quilter, but I think I'd like to do free motion quilting on the bags that I make. Thank you for this vid, so, so helpful. Cheers from Australia
This video is awesome & perfect timing - I just bought my FMQ foot last week & haven't practiced yet. To be honest I wasn't looking forward to starting FMQ until I watched this video!!! 👏 now I'm ready to begin the process. Thank you so much! Happy Sewing ❤️🧵🪡
Hi Tracy. I absolutely love this video. Thank you. Makes me want to go try FMQ tonight. Honestly, the only thing I would do in this video is to say give the FMQ foot spring a drop of oil, along with the needle bar. I only say this because the first time I gathered the courage to FMQ, the foot was squeaking and felt ... tight, I suppose....that was about ayearr and a half ago. I recently serviced my machin, and I very quietly asked the sales person where am I supposed to oil and what am I supposed to oil. Thu, I learned a month ago where to oil my needle bar, and, the spring on whatever FMQ foot I was experimenting with. But, as always, thank you so much for your very informative videos. I love them all.❤
Love, love, love this video!!!! Truthfully, I love all your videos but this one hit home. I've put off trying to FMQ and you video took some of the fear out of it for me. I love that you aren't a Quiltzilla about the rules but encourage us to do what right for us!!!! Thank you for all you do!
Time to start Mellissa...no fear! You got this❣️
Oh and Melissa...the term "Quiltzilla" is so funny LOL🤣 I may have to use that someday LOLhahahhahahahha🤣
Amen! I also like the “non quilt police” approach.
I just want to know how to put the feed dogs down on my Nano!e 311!
I want to l ow how to pit the feed dogs down on my Janome 311.

Thank you!!!!
I can't believe it I'm doing it I'm Freemotion Quilting 🤸♀️🥳❤I'm so happy I feel like dancing.
Thank you for all your great tips and support, I appreciate it greatly you are the best

I paid $470. To have it quilted.. and decided I could buy a new machine and quilt it my self.. so glad you put this out
Thank you, Tracy! This was the best video on free motion quilting I‘ve ever seen. You give me the courage to try it myself. You are a great teacher!
Greetings from Germany, Berit
Thank you for the kind feedback on the video Cassuviel.❤️ YOU can do it❣️
Just got my new Juki. Watched a bazillion FMQ videos. This one was the most realistic one of all of them. I'm feel ready to go.....
IM A BEGINNER YOU HAVE ENCOURAGED ME TO TRY IT THKS I WAS SCARED I WOULD GOOF IT UP BUT PRACTICE LIKE YOU DID ON VIDEO DID INSPIRE ME. BLESSINGS

I really like your narration when you’re FMQ’ing, “stop-hands-stop-hands….., it’s very helpful.

I just wanted you to know how much I appreciate this. I have hesitated to do free motion for so long. Lol.
You can do it!
Thank you for you attention to detail when doing free motion quilting. This video has been an enormous help❤

thannks for making quilters gasp and for showing us the logic
As a beginner, I've watched some other Free Motion Quilting videos. They were helpful, but this one is the best hands down. Thanks.
Thank you for this! I. Just. Went. For it like you said! Encouragement is so powerful! You are amazing and I love learning from you!
I loved seeing Josie on this video, she has grown so much and is as adorable as ever. She loves her grandma, that is evident.

You're welcome Venita❣️ That's sad to me that person said that to you:( Remember ...YOU are good enough at the level YOU are at...❤️ Let me know if I can help with any questions you may have.❤️
Traci, I thought the free motion on your first quilt was wonderful. Dense quilting gives a quilt a whole different look.
Thanks Tracy. Great video. I haven’t tried free motion yet but now I at least have an idea on how to start. This really helps.
Awesome...glad it helped Kathleen❤️
Thank you I am new at quilting and this video gives me some confidence that I can do this. ❤
Thank you for sharing your first one! I am new at quilting and am working on my first one ever! I know I'm making mistakes because I'm working and learning on skills I need, but it's very encouraging for you to share your beginnings! Thank you!
Thank you so much for doing this video! I absolutely appreciate your detailed and simple instructions! Wonderful channel!!!
Thanks so much! No longer scared to try
I have learned I lot. I'm going to start quilting my blocks. I'm glad I picked this video to start learning.
You totally can do this Rebecca❣️ (I love being a Mimi♥️)
Thank you, so much. I tried free motion quilting before, but not great at all. I have made quilts for a year now. The piecing is great. Now because of you I will try again with free motion.
❤😊 Im Enjoying Because U R a Great Gift in Teaching, Ur Get Started Already ❤😊
I loved this video 🥰
The closeups were excellent
Thank you for sharing!
Tracy you are just the sweetest and a natural teacher. You have such a calling on your life. Inspired you are. God is absolutely good God bless from Texas.
Oh my word you are so sweet!!! Thank you for such kind words. God Bless you from OHIO❣️
Take Care! ~~ Lynne
Happy that it was helpful Lynne❤️
Thanks for showing your early works. Even with the beginner "mistakes", they are still lovely and loveable. You've inspired me to to actually give my quilts as gifts-- I didn't think they were good enough
We never think our work is good enough🤷🏻♀️But it is good enough and you will get better and better...keep going❣️
the first quilt you show is gorgous! the stiches might not be up to your current day standard, but to hide a heart in each square for your daughter....? that is so precious and wholesome! ❤
❤️
I love the quilting on the first quilt its how i want to do it...
Thank you so much for this video. I usually just straight line quilt, but I have tried free motion quilting, and I got so stressed. You have given me the courage to try it again.
I FINALLY started to FMQ! YAY me!! FUN FUN FUN!!! And yep there are mistakes but once I washed it even I can’t find the mistakes now!!
Wonderful! Congrats on starting...now keep going...even if it gets rough...keep going...I'm rooting for ya!!!🎉
Thanks Tracy I wish you were around when I started free motion. I do okay, not perfect, but good enough for the girls I run around with.😊 Your Granddaughter is beautiful. Don't apologize for your love for one another. Great to see.❤
I bet you make a ton a progress.....and if you continue then you will only keep getting better🤩
Great tip on the topstitch needle and the elongated eye. Makes perfect sense!
Thank you Tracy! You have given me the courage to begin FMQ. I love your videos! This one is so informative and encouraging. ❤
You can do it T Ward❣️
I agree Tracy is amazing I love all her videos always so much great information and beautiful quilts ❤
@sewquilty357 You are very kind. Thank you for supporting my channel
What a great tutorial. I appreciate your honesty and your ability to help us understand how to just begin.
Thanks for sharing your journey with free motion quilting. Your perspective is honest and refreshing!
Thank you so much K❤️❤️❤️
Your granddaughter is so gorgeous! Oh mommy! Thanx for all your videos, love them!
I started yesterday. Was it all great. No. But I at least started!😊. And had fun🥳
Thanks for your inspiration. Greetings from the Netherlands.
That's how it all happens❣️
So helpful, thank you. I will refer to this often.
Loved your demo, love your videos!
TY! TY! TY! for sharing your journey with the thread and learning FMQ> I was also told I MUST use 100% cotton thread, on 100% cotton quilt shop only fabric and wool batting if I wanted my quilts to last more than a cpl years.
I still buy Walmart fabric....along with fabric from all over LOL🤣 If it's pretty and I love it...I buy it❣️
This is one of the best videos I have seen with instruction for the super beginner like me!
Wow you've been busy Barbara❣️ Email me any pics you want me to see at thesewingchannel33@gmail.com
I haven't start yet free motion quilting...scsre😮😊🙃😂
Hello from Australia 🌏🦘
This is a great tutorial! Thanks Tracy!
Great video, thank you. I’ve been wanting to learn FMQ for some time now, and your video has inspired me to jump in and give it a go. Once again, you have a way of taking the “scariness” out of things. It’s like it’s no big deal, just do it. Thank you so much, and God bless you. ❤
You're welcome Kathy❣️ YOU can absolutely do it❣️
Thank you so much!
Tracy you are awesome
love this I finish off the way you do. Thanks I'm still practicing , I have the a 2010Q Juki.
Oh yes ...those Jukis are so awesome🤩. ( I couldn't imagine burying all those threads...bahhaha!)
You were right I tried the motion quilting I love it. ,
Holey moley girl! Why on earth would you be embarrassed by the quilting on that first quilt for your daughter? It looks intricate and deliberate. Don't tell anyone it has mistakes, and they'll never know. I love your videos. Even though i don't have funds to support you financially, I can be a cheerleader! ❤❤❤
You are such a great teacher when explaining how to FMQ. I haven’t tried it yet but when I do I will pull up this video.
I have been struggling with free motion quilting but after watching your video I have got it! Thank you so much I didn't think I would ever master it ❤
AWESOME hint about the dry erase practice pad!!! Love your videos and teaching style 🙂
Thanks so much FBC! 😊
Great video, I have learnt so much. Thank you.
Awe Debbie...you are sweet❣️
It really is amazing once you understand the basic thread/needle knowledge how it changes the way you look at sewing in general. I think too many always talk about so many threads and needles at once that it confuses people🤷🏻♀️ YAY it's the weekend❤️
@@TheSewingChannel totally agree…the polyester thread tip…yeah I can’t believe what a difference that made on my Juki. So much cleaner. 😊
Oh my word...so true...that's the word I was lookin for..."cleaner"...it's smooth and clean. I can't /won't use cotton for anything...✅
Agreed. On every point!
Thank you Tracy! I love your videos. You’re such an inspiration and so generous with your knowledge. And your granddaughter is absolutely adorable!!
Thank you so much!❤️
This video is great. I am trying to teach myself FMQ and I learned so much! Thanks.
I did 2 quilts on my sewing machine, Ick. Went and bought a longarm.
Tried freemotion on that for 6 mos., Ick, so I bought automation! 😂
Poly thread is SO much better with a TS 14 or 16 needle. It seems to not shrink up and make the quilt get as wrinkley. Angela is my favorite quilter on YT!
I'm not a quilter, but I think I'd like to do free motion quilting on the bags that I make. Thank you for this vid, so, so helpful. Cheers from Australia
Inspiring and gonna try.
I love them all.❤
Thank you Michelle for reminding me of oiling the spring. I learned that recently myself. Happy Quilting❤️
Thank you so much for a very interesting session I really am going to try Free Motion you are a very good teacher.
Awe🥹you pointed out all of your mistakes on your first quilt and I thought it was beautiful😊I hope I can do as well😍
