@@BoardGameBollocks I've got a chance to get second edition for OK price. I'm going for it. It was either this or Pulsar. I like this theme more and I thought it is classic by now. Thanks
@@BoardGameBollocks Well, due the fact that this rating method was also existing 2 years ago, You shoud tell it to that (confused and inconsistent) fellow at 15:47, When he chose the following words: "It's a fantastic game, FIVE STARS... Without doubt one of our favorite games of all time" 🤐
I fail to see your point mate. I don’t catalog all my games on BGG because I have over 5000 titles…BGG sucks anyway. Are you just being a dick? I see a lot of them on here.
@@BoardGameBollocksawkwardly, I thought the same of you while reading your previous response... Instead of responding that you aren't rating your games (ANYMORE), your answer, in its sort-of-a-dickish style (..I guess it takes one to know one..) was referring to the inconsequential (no pun intended) semantic part of my question, instead of its essence... I like your channel and your perspective, and find you 'trustable' enough to keep following... so far at least. Nevertheless, running into your review on BGG led me to your collection, and guess what? It contains lots of newer games than Shipyard... - new enough to get the legitimate impression so as the justified conclusion that your collection is indeed up to date (..with titles such as Ark Nova, the new edition of Libertalia, etc..). BTW, I really appreciate reviewers who keep updating their BGG collection. They don't necessarily like or identify with BGG scoring methodology, but their rating table does reflect their taste, and some even make the extra effort and share their opinion in the comments. Really not obvious.
Thanks! Came to look for more recent videos on Shipyard to find out if it’s worth getting the 2nd edition.
I had no idea there was a 2nd edition but if it’s as good as the first then yes.
Love these "Still worth it?" reviews. There're brilliant!!
👍
I really do enjoy your reviews.
Thanks for that mate ✊🏻
You deserve more views. Keep up the good work.
Thanks mate...would be nice to get a few more views but we do this because we like games and making films.
Thanks for the kind word though :)
Would you still recommend it today and in the future?
Yea. Shipyard is still absolutely solid.

@nuuqbgg its probably better than pulsar as it has more theme. You need a storage system for it though. Billion and one tiles.
@@BoardGameBollocks oh the new one comes with storage solution for both ship and other tiles. Check it out.
I know the answer to this one. Yes. Love this game.
I don’t think the contracts are very unbalanced.
Great game!
Yea love this one…looks like a crock of shite but plays great.
Five stars game, yet not one that worth be included in your bgg collection..?
(...I guess there too many 5 stars games out there... or something...)
BGG scores are out of ten stars
