I modified your life gain shell and found that splashing just a little more black made it even better. This allows for Elas, Il-Kor and Amalia Benavides Aguirre adding extra card draw and life gain consistency to the deck. Also this deck needed 1 more set of 1 drops and the new Ruin Lurker lifelink bats were perfect for this purpose! I went 11-4 73% winrate in Ranked Diamond with this Decklist: 7 Plains 5 Swamp 3 Caves of Koilos 3 Battlefield Forge 1 Scoured Barrens 1 Wind-Scarred Crag 4 Resplendent Angel 4 Lunarch Veteran 4 Voice of the Blessed 1 Eiganjo, Seat of the Empire 2 Giada, Font of Hope 3 Inspiring Overseer 3 Archangel of Wrath 2 Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim 2 Soul Partition 4 Steel Seraph 2 Mirrex 1 Virtue of Loyalty 1 Virtue of Persistence 1 Restless Fortress 4 Ruin-Lurker Bat 2 Amalia Benavides Aguirre

I'm just so glad mono-white is killin' it right now though. That I've been running some Pure White lists, just for the decimation of mono-red decks. Quite a good time.
This is a great deck version which I adopted but the 4 copies are overkill amounts. Why put 4 resplendent angels in when you can end up drawing 2 in opening hand and having thus less curve variety available. I have 2 so far, I think 3 should be more than enough. It allows spells to counter or wipe or whatever you need.
I love how the second you bring out some massive life gain stuff, suddenly monored matches are rare as hell in comparison to having ANY other type of deck in the game. This game coddles monored players, I swear it does.
Hey what's up man, really like this video, life gain decks are my absolute favorite, and this deck is sweet , and I noticed that you have metropolis reformer in your sideboard. I have an orzhov life gain deck that I made and I run three copies of that in it. It's a good card but I was going to suggest screlve is a decent card but have you considered running loran's escape from brothers war I think? It's a really good cheap protection card.

Hey HGG with the resplendent Angel in play it may have been better to be putting lifeline on your guys instead of vigilance so you could get the free angel token. I was kinda sad when you were playing againt that blue whit control deck and didn't take the opportunity to make the free creatures
When I play these type of decks I suddenly never have any monored opponents anymore. I get destroyed by control all the time. Another reason I almost quit this game. The matchmaking and shuffler are so awful
Bro, I just played a match with angels in explorer using resplendent and other greats, ended up in a draw with me at 1756 life to their -705. It was a draw because of hundreds of triggers on the stack, we both know I won 😂 (he had a counter on a land that he could not lose and I could not win but I had that coming up in my deck too lol)
Dear HGG, that's a great deck. I'm sad you had to punch only a single monored player in the face with it. They pollute the meta for all archetypes but should you play angels lifegain and the matchmaker make them fade out of existence. I would watch monored lose to this deck all day long.

I fully believe Arena to do matchmaking. There is something at work on the backend and they clearly have the metrics to understand matchups.
I’ve been playing a control artifact deck. Ive played against exactly two mono-red aggro decks. And maybe a dozen plus Etali/Beanstalk decks.
40:35 you could seraph, lifelink on giada, then giada to cast lunarch. It will be 1 life more, prob will not matter anyway :P

I believe he was trying to play around Wandering Emperor. But yeah the opportunity to make free angel tokens is worth the risk!
