@@JonHandEntertainmentI play as her WAY more than any other hero ship in the game and now her levels are skyrocketing like a lightning strike!⚡️All of my hero ships are at level 1-12, And Tallie Lintra is at Level 70!!!
Sure, but my main point is that they give us unlikeable characters in the lead that often have unsatisfying arcs and kill off the characters that we ARE interested in for cheap emotional tricks
In a funny way the audience was disappointed twice where Kylo Ren was concerned. Lol! The first time we discover Han and Lea's only son is doomed to the darkside and murders Han...the second time in The Last Jedi we are teased with the notion that Ben is still in there after all, and Rey and him may come together to defeat the first order...only for disappointed to strike again and watch Kylo Ren massacre half of the resistance.
I used to think Kylo Ren had a consistent arc, then I realized that he is one of the most inconsistent characters in the trilogy, and it's frustrating to watch. He doesn't act logically, often. It's so frustrating to see him just become the new leader of the FO after he spoke about letting everything in the past die. He could have let the First Order become something unique, not just a rehash of the Empire.
I think I remember seeing her Starfighter on EA Battlefront 2 and I had no idea who this person was or why it was only an A Wing and didn't have a character model. I don't like the new Star Wars stuff and the way they treated their original characters just goes to show how much they relied on OG characters. And the new characters they did bring in where hardly worked on and felt like they had no development whatsoever. In the originals, I could actually feel the love put into these characters. I hardly feel that way when watching the new Star Wars, and the original characters they put in felt like hollow shells.
I feel you! The OG characters had so much personality, and now it’s like they’re just going through the motions. Let’s bring back that good ol’ Star Wars magic!
She was a plot device . A reason for the pilots experienced pilots to attempt to take control of the fleet . I didn't understand why they didn't just tell the crew where they were heading . Like no one eas gonna tell the empire or send a radio signal .
Bro the issue is they went with the desert background again (still could’ve been done right) then to a super Jedi who needed two weeks of training with a plot hole of hyperdrive being used as a weapon and bringing back a villain that ended an ark for the redemption story of anakin. Disney sucks
@@JonHandEntertainment Some characters just exist for one reason: To die. There is no reason for a thought out backstory, just because they have a little bit of screentime before "doing their job." It has always been like that, even in the original trilogy, with characters being all chatty and friendly, and then blowing up. No backstory, no second mention.
Yeah I get that and that's totally fine. I'm saying that Tallie was more interesting in 28 seconds than a lot of characters who got more screentime than her. Like Admiral Holdo - who thought that was a good idea? Tallie was fun and cute and gave me some Wedge Antiles vibes
@@JonHandEntertainment That one I can totally agree with. But to be fair: It's not hard to be more interesting than most of the other characters. They really went out of their way to make everybody as one-dimensional as possible.
I disagree. It's terrible script writing, poor character development overall. More importantly a complete miscue on the original material, in an attempt to make Star Wars into a propaganda piece for ideologues pushing a particular agenda. To quote Master Yoda "That is why you fail."

I haven't seen Knives Out 2 but my expectations are a bit low. I think he is a very flawed writer/director but has some good moments. I just can't stand listening to him talk about Luke Skywalker lol

Her ship is playable in Battlefront 2 for no random reason. To this day, there’s no explanation for this.
I played that game religiously and NEVER understood this. I would love to see more of her character somehow with Hermione playing the role again.

That killed lots of ppl in the original trilogy that we had no attachment to.

@@JonHandEntertainment RIP Admiral Ackbar

That's sort of not the point I'm making either way. Whether or not you liked it or disliked it - I'm saying Tallie deserved better
Fr, can’t recognize a character if the movie was shit

@JonHandEntertainment Exactly! The problem is the creators of the films just wanted a modern looking version of the empire.

nothing in this movie makes much sense
Thinks back to that time Anakin returned to the library to uhh borrow some books 😂
bahahaha
Hm I never even thought about that character, characters that are played for 28 seconds are uh kinda easily forgettable.
In this instance I would disagree, I felt she was very noticable and likeable in that short time

yeah it was an absolute dumpster fire of a story. I don't understand how they messed this up so bad
I just want to forget about the sequels
thats valid lol
Jenny Nicholson!
Never thought about this but yeah! totally! lol
Paige Tico died in the same way. Barely any screen time and died blowing up a first order ship.
YES. I need to do a video on her. It would have been nice to have more of her onscreen, too. I might have preferred her over Rose, anyways.

me neither. she got on my nerves a lot

Okay, I give you that much fodder for the youtube algorythm: What a ludicrously bonkers take on fodder characters that only exist to fill the screen.
How is this a ludicrously bonkers take, exactly?
