- torrevieja spain 🇪🇸 Spanish news/mar azul ilegal house builds in spain (180 rule staying in Spain/90 day for expats)torrevieja costa Blanca Spain playa del cura brits new rules /staying in Spain 90-day rule /90 day for expats .refers to the visa-free stay allowed for non-European Union (EU) citizens, torrevieja costa Blanca Spain, citizens of the United Kingdom after Brexit, within the Schengen Area, of which Spain is a part. The Schengen Area is a group of 26 European countries that have abolished passport control at their mutual borders, allowing for the free and unrestricted movement of people within the area. Spain in the province of Alicante, within the autonomous community of Valencia. It is situated along the Costa Blanca, which is known for its beautiful Mediterranean beaches and pleasant climate.
The key points regarding the 90-day rule for Spain are:
Visa-Free Stay:Non-EU citizens, including UK citizens post-Brexit, are generally allowed to stay in the Schengen Area, including Spain, for up to 90 days within a 180-day period without requiring a visa.
Counting the Days. The 90-day period is calculated as a rolling 180-day period. This means that within any 180-day period, you can spend a maximum of 90 days in the Schengen Area.
Residency Requirement:If you plan to stay in Spain for longer than 90 days or if you wish to work, study, or reside in Spain, you will likely need to apply for a long-term visa or residence permit before your 90-day limit expires.
Brexit Impact:Post-Brexit, the rules for UK citizens changed, and they are no longer EU citizens. This means that the 90-day rule applies to UK citizens visiting Spain and other Schengen countries.
Entry and Exit Dates:It's crucial to keep track of entry and exit dates, as overstaying the 90-day limit could result in fines, deportation, or future travel restrictions.Schengen Area Coordination:The 90-day rule is coordinated among Schengen Area countries. If you spend time in one Schengen country, it affects the remaining days available for the entire Schengen Area.
It's important to note that immigration policies can change, and it's advisable to check for the most up-to-date information from official government sources or consult with relevant authorities, such as the Spanish consulate or embassy, before planning an extended stay in Spain.

You certainly get about
I lived in spain for a few years and struggled to get through to people that buying a ‘holiday home’ was a bad idea ( and this was before the 90 day rule). The fundamental concept is that the spanish housing market is entirely different from the uk: supply exceeds demand and appreciation in value over time is therefore not guaranteed. So it is NOT an investment. Take into account the purchase tax of ( average) 10% spread over the years plus community taxes and utilities, you are better off spending your money on staying in a fully serviced hotel for the weeks you have available.
Beautiful place Spain 🇪🇸 all though generally cost of living is cheap compared to uk . But taxes are very high
sun juan yeaterday and alicante.also nice
You are getting around quicker than me 😀
Another great video. Residents can open a totally free account with BBVA. There is no requirement for them to lodge money in each month, no monthly fees, no direct debit fees, no ATM fees. I use my N26 or my Revolut to add funds to it so I can then withdraw cash totally free of charge. Handy as many cafes and markets do not accept cards. The first time you use the card in a BBVA ATM machine, you can change the language to English (IDIOMA - INGLES), it will then do that automatically every single time thereafter. The Spanish banks are superb for paying things like car tax etc, no need to set-up direct debits and get a nasty shock when the money has gone without notice. Loved the quick change of chat when in front of the staff at the overpriced Monkey place! 🤣
Great info
And avoid anything labelled as 'cheap'.
I'm in Jerez right now, it's like a mini Seville, it's heading towards midnight but the streets are packed, it's about 26c and was about 34c during the day. It's a normal but beautiful small city, to buy a home here will be less than in the area that you are showing which looks absolutely horrendous in comparison, you could not pay me to live there.
Oh dear need to come down on the costa Blanca a lot nicer and warmer ☀️
@@paradiseworldvideos3859 Been all over it, know it well from Valencia to Murcia and if l end up there it would be in Alicante City, but looking around the bay of Cadiz it's way more beautiful down here.
Do you know what time Charley plays?
All I know it Wednesday afternoon and it gets very busy
Music is at 2pm on Friday at Rincon de Sam behind the Dialprix supermarket.
Catral has had problem for years they will never be legal, anyone who buys one in Catral wants their head looking at.
Yes I was surprised about that

Plenty of terrible beaches here on the south coast. Covered in dedications and rubbish.
Yes to find any . But remember Spain has the best beaches in Europe
What a dump

By the outdated British only term ex pat do you really mean British economic migrants??
How many Brits would seek a better £ life in Spain where even Spaniards dream of a €1k a month job? None.
The walk you’ve just done looked like the worst nightmare holiday place any one can visit, if you think that is a nice area you need to go to speck-savers, it looked like a total s-T hole👎👎👎
Beach front wasn’t grand but the area of the beginning mar azul nice and quiet
