Bro I mean this in the best way possible...it's honestly refreshing as fuck to watch someone actually struggle while wrenching on YT😂 All everyone usually shows is everything going perfect and all that bs...living in Boston my entire life all I've ever known was cussing and busting knuckles hahaha
I don't know whether to laugh or cry at this. Defo best build content I've seen in a long time. Gets boring just seeing guys and girls get tools go to vehicle do thing and it's done. But this is real and way better....... What could make it super funny would be to have Suppy and his guys come in every now and then and either rib the crap out of you, laugh and just be how we'd all imagine they would watching you stuggle. It would be mean as hell but proper entertaining...... Never change Zac, you the man
Finally someone who shows what its like in most peoples garage, lots of banging, swearing, and calling yourself all kinds of names. And lots of learning as you go.
Finally a project car channel that looks like me 90% of the time when working on my own projects! It can be a headlight bulb change or an engine swap, somehow it always ends with swearwords and throwing tools.
This is a great style of content Zach! the narrating your mistakes is great! it is comforting knowing you struggle with things much like people do at home having a go and getting it done cheers from australia
Getting flashbacks to helping my dad work on the car and watching him swear under breath and whack it with a hammer as he "teaches" me and my bro how it's done.
would like to say thank you, every you tube video people make it look like working on cars is easy, with one problem it not. you have shown its not the case. i like what you are doing.keep up the great work thank you
Thank you for being honest about the process! There’s so many times I go through stuff like this…. Banging my head against the wall and I wonder if others go through the same thing!
Well done, I was expecting the front axle to make a bunch of noise. I watched the whole thing, some parts twice. This would be the struggle those with a love for cars feel when they don't wrench, it's all over YT. What makes this batter is some real money is being spent on parts.
Dude Josh was the guy to call for this....for sure. My favorite automotive masochists, with my other favorite automotive masochist. The Dana 60 swap probably would have been the move at this point, however 60 is heavier, and has such a gigantic pumpkin that it losses ground clearance. (Not to mention needing different wheels, rear end......and then , and then , and then......
Pure gold man. I literally dont have a vise yet 😂 or a press so super understable and have also installed things wrong only too do it again 😅. Your channel is pure gold loving every minute of it and your my top pick over all my other automotive channels super relatable and lots of useful information. Im sure there are gunna be lots of people down the road also seeking your videos. The best builds are always hard and sometimes the worst issue make you come up with the best upgrades.
Lololololol “get a montero.” I had an ‘03 sport and loved that thing. Raced the shit out of it offroad with nothing more than an old man emu lift, 33” general grabbers, stainless lines and fresh brakes, a bao feng, and some $30 helmets. Talk about smiles per mile!
This is the very stuff that happens in life, while working on anything mechanical, that builds tremendous character. So, at least you have that going for you... ...which is nice.
This entire vid hit me at my core. Could not help but laugh because I literally just got done with a project on my Camaro that should have taken a day... Was done 4 days later...
This is great! Because this is real wrenching life for most of us! We learn as we go 💪🏻🥳 Nice to watch a channel with some reality and the reality commentary or at least how we think without spitting it 😅👍🏻
Love this, best content on YT rn hands down. But, a funny future segment would be to get Ricky from RCV to show the proper installation in like an hour LOL
I see you work on trucks the same way i work on trucks 😂 You should replace that rag joint steering shaft with a Borgeson steering shaft and eliminate the rag joint entirely.
Very correct in saying….”should have gone Dana 60. That axle is a waste of time , with power you’re making. It’s like settling a 10 story building on toothpicks! 😢😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Mate, you replied to my last comment, I feel every ounce of your pain, we've all been there. But the end result is driving it and knowing you know everything about it, intimately! Keep on doing it! Cus why the fuck not?!
Your videos are amazing. 2 minutes in. Brother, buy a ti rod end remover. Hella cheap and comes off super easy. They are cheap tools. Save you time and stress 🎉
I feel like I was watching myself work on my projects 🤦🏻♂️ but on the flip side you gained a crap ton of knowledge 😂 at least that’s what I tell myself
Fuckin aye bro this is the real deal wrenching that will help people learn to not be afraid to diy, just be ready to mess up and fix any mistakes. So many of my buddies still paying $100+ for an oil change cuz they can't get over the initial fear of messing with their vehicle.
I know your pain. A ball joint separator is so helpful and for $20-$30, totally worth not having to smack suspension and steering components with a hammer. I made due without one for far too long.
This just proves Zac is one of us with a will do attitude. Don't know if can do, but will do. Totally relatable.
Going through the work looked hard, editing the footage must have been harder 😅
@@JR-ii4lq the struggle is so real
Work on your own cars they say, it’s easy they say. We’ve all been there Zach. Thanks for the therapy session.
That’s how I feel like I’m not alone
it's comforting to know I'm not alone in making poor automotive decisions
Literally the most realistic car channel in this one episode. Pain in the GD Ass sometimes, but worth it in the end.
Bro I mean this in the best way possible...it's honestly refreshing as fuck to watch someone actually struggle while wrenching on YT😂 All everyone usually shows is everything going perfect and all that bs...living in Boston my entire life all I've ever known was cussing and busting knuckles hahaha
At your service
I've never heard somebody speak in morse code 😂
I was thinking of counting how many beebs there was 😂

The struggle bus is real. Thanks for posting bud. Most of YT automotive cuts those parts out but not the chop lord. Keep grinding we will watch.
Finally some realistic wrenching content! Nothing ever goes exactly as planned. It’s nice to see people joining the struggle bus. 😂
Finally someone who shows what its like in most peoples garage, lots of banging, swearing, and calling yourself all kinds of names. And lots of learning as you go.

Zach you are direct duplicate of how I work! That's why I am here! LOL. And you have the best hair ever!
Minus the hair comment I agree
This series has been HIGHLY entertaining.
Realest car channel. I’m grateful that you leaving the mishaps in your videos. We’ve all been there and we all feel your pain!
Watching Zach go all heart of darkness with this build is amazing
This is the funniest "home garage" wrenching channel on UA-cam.... this is fucken hilarious. Keep up with the struggle Zac, we are loving this show
Getting flashbacks to helping my dad work on the car and watching him swear under breath and whack it with a hammer as he "teaches" me and my bro how it's done.
I LOVE the way you narrate. This and BIG-TIME are my favorite new channels.
Pickle Fork That Hooo my brother!!

thank you
If having a bad day was a person 😢 lmao 🤣

BFH is always the right tool... Respect bruh!

Now, this is genuine, down to earth car content. Keep it up!!! 🤠
Hit it with your purse damn it😅
It’s cool that you show the struggles and the getto ways about working on your own rides.
Dude, I can relate! Love these struggle sessions. You rock
Dude Josh was the guy to call for this....for sure. My favorite automotive masochists, with my other favorite automotive masochist.

We have all been there. This is great you are showing this. Cars and trucks are a pain in the ass sometimes.
Love watching this build. Reminds me of why I quit working on my 98’ rcsb and let it sit and rot in my dads yard 😂
Pure gold man. I literally dont have a vise yet 😂 or a press so super understable and have also installed things wrong only too do it again 😅.

Keep killin it my man! The chop king himself.
Hahaha, love you for showing the real wrenching life!! Not the fake Instagram shizzle
Keep the momentum up man! We've all been there lol
I'm so glad you're willing to put this kind of stuff out because this is how i feel every time I work on my own vehicle 😂

Hey Zach I hate to say it but watching you struggle is so therapeutic knowing I’m not alone and did he say chitlinslol
At least the struggle is not in vain.
@@MISTERZACHARY it’s going to a good cause
I've done one of them conversion kits and boy.... did the same shid you did brother. Now we know 4 the next 1
Love the hammer therapy…. Looks like you may need a cutting torch next time!
This entire vid hit me at my core. Could not help but laugh because I literally just got done with a project on my Camaro that should have taken a day... Was done 4 days later...
Omg the world NEEDS more of this! Im dying! I love this shit
This is so fing relatable! 🤣🤣 Only thing missing is doing this on the driveway on jackstands.
Love this. Real and relatable !!
Hey, congrats on becoming one of the most relatable car UA-camrs!
Dam, this channel is the sheet!. Thanks for keeping the struggles in zack!! This how we all relate. 🤙
Best episode yet
Zach, this is real life stuff that all of us can relate too. Dont change
Absolute train wreck of a DIY experience... love it. The reality of how projects actually go.
This is great! Because this is real wrenching life for most of us! We learn as we go 💪🏻🥳 Nice to watch a channel with some reality and the reality commentary or at least how we think without spitting it 😅👍🏻
Can't beat the look of a warn hub on a square body 👌🏽
"Hard Way Zach"
Damn!! Some struggles. It’s all part of the fun of working on cars!!!
Love this, best content on YT rn hands down. But, a funny future segment would be to get Ricky from RCV to show the proper installation in like an hour LOL

You should replace that rag joint steering shaft with a Borgeson steering shaft and eliminate the rag joint entirely.
Touching the knuckle with a grinder is totally illegal here in my country lol. That was so fun to watch from here.
Hammer Time with Zach
Dude! Love the, what not to do! You’re the man! Love the rawness of this video. We can totally relate. Thats how we roll. 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻
Shocked this doesn’t have more views. Maybe because this is REALLY what it’s like to be a car/truck/ motorcycle guy. I feel your pain bro!
UA-cam can’t stand the realness in this series
14:10 I think all mechanics have said what zac just said…
I’ve been looking at these rcv axles for my blazer but now a 1 ton swap is looking a lot less frustrating lol
To be fair, they work great and once you know the trick to getting them off and on they are super easy.
Yay another upload was looking forward for this one
Gotta love the style of your videos 👌
Very correct in saying….”should have gone Dana 60. That axle is a waste of time , with power you’re making. It’s like settling a 10 story building on toothpicks! 😢😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Damn it, Zac got me again. "Badda bing badda boom......professionalism....ha ha haaaaaaaannnnggggh.............."
The stark contrast between you and Vin is so awesome! hahaha
Came across like a "Get learnt with Ricky" episode from trailer park boys 😂😂
Keep on keeping on bossman.. as an aside, i brainfarted and thought you said Jimny for a second.. V8 Jimny would be a riot..
Mate, you replied to my last comment, I feel every ounce of your pain, we've all been there. But the end result is driving it and knowing you know everything about it, intimately! Keep on doing it! Cus why the fuck not?!
37 seconds after upload, let's goooooo!!!
No worries sir you got this , we'll see you riding around soon . Stay safe and God bless
Watching you ride the struggle bus really takes me back.
Zac dont let that beautiful beast kick your butt 😂😂😂
Your videos are amazing. 2 minutes in. Brother, buy a ti rod end remover. Hella cheap and comes off super easy. They are cheap tools. Save you time and stress 🎉
i've been a mechanic for 20 years and you my frriend cracked me the F up. Been there done that. best way to learn get diry
This makes me feel so much better about my own struggles
I feel like I was watching myself work on my projects 🤦🏻♂️ but on the flip side you gained a crap ton of knowledge 😂 at least that’s what I tell myself
That’s what it’s all about
I'm glad I'm not the only person that works like this...lol
You do good work zach
these videos are awesome
Dude, I feel this 100%! Frustrating but great content.
Don't worry weekend warriors can relate
Air hammer my boy
So relatable, trying to get aftermarket parts to work together sounds good in theory lol
Fuckin aye bro this is the real deal wrenching that will help people learn to not be afraid to diy, just be ready to mess up and fix any mistakes. So many of my buddies still paying $100+ for an oil change cuz they can't get over the initial fear of messing with their vehicle.
zach is a real one.
Just so relatable haha thanks for keeping it real man
I know your pain. A ball joint separator is so helpful and for $20-$30, totally worth not having to smack suspension and steering components with a hammer. I made due without one for far too long.
I'm in about hour 20 of a 2 hour project, so that 3 minute hammer montage really hits home 🤣
This was very helpful. I know I am not the only one as I work on my E46 M3
Get this man some pickle forks.
Yep looks about how I go about working on my rig
Dang 👊🏻🇺🇸🥃! It’s part of the journey 😊. Maybe look into balljoint eliminators on the next Upgrade.
MERICA ! Keep on keeping on
I just did balljoints for the first time last week, when I saw the hammer I was like ain't no way that's gunna work... cuz I tried that 😂
This video triggered ptsd from having to replace my own ball joints. Mini sledge for the win!
Is there a reason to stick with the rag joint over going with something with a U joint?
2 vids in a week were bing blessed
2 more coming this week
Zach making me rethink my plans to fix my 2010 z71 🤦🏽♂️😂😂😂
