    I did this professionally for a few years. Every floor is unique. Prep is key to a flawless floor. Looks like these dudes did it right👍

    Zach, I build commercial lease spaces. One of my customers came up with some rubber base that is black but it looks like wood! It’s sick! It would totally complete the look of your floors and the room. It comes in 3’ or 4’ sections and you just apply it to the wall above the epoxy floor. If you want some pics let me know and I can email them to you! Love the channel brother, if I wasn’t in Texas, I would come hoooook that space up for you! 👊

    definitely should have done the lift after the floors, bass ackwards, but scheduling is what it is looks fucking sweet! good color choice

    The satin top coat will also hide scratches better. You'll see every imperfection in the floor with the gloss top coat.

      If you're gonna do anything, its worth doing right. Can't afford to buy a spot in CA so the rental has to get spiced up. Besides, with some negotiation you can usually get the cost knocked off of your lease with improvements like this.

    Floor looks unreal and it was great seeing the process. Will add though if you drop small bolts or anything on multi-colored floors it can be an absolute nightmare trying to find them so for practicality if you do this yourself a single flat color may be best.

    Looks awesome, I personally would've thrown a few strands of bright teal/turquoise in spots or another bright color to make it pop, but then you gotta worry about what's in the bay when you're shooting I suppose 😅

    Fantastic floor work!
    The only caveat being that you better use only very shiny or brightly colored hardware because,
    if you drop a dark anodized nut/bolt it's going to take some looking to find it!
    What's the rebound of a dropped piece of hardware?
    More giving than the concrete?
    It is very pretty, Keep Hert off of it!

    i will say as someone who works in cielings for work that should be done before flooring cause ive seen it time and time again where guys working above finish flooring ruin it with ladders or dropping shit on it

    So, did having the lift already installed make the job more difficult or was it better that it was there to work around? Would bolting down a lift on top of the floor lead to any issues?
    Just curious

      had to be installed first so that it was mated directly to concrete. was easy to work around and the result looks dope. its now sealed into the floor and looks super clean.

    my dad and me coated our floors with epoxy in the shop we had in daytona years ago. the dust suddenly went away after it was done. concrete is some dusty shit. we also put change and a few dollar and five dollar bills in it to fuck with people. the grit powder did absolutely nothing for grip.
