Other than Clark St/Fleetwood, the highest quality pieces came from Flint. GM quality took a MASSIVE hit when they closed Buick City/Flint passenger car assembly.
From what I remember, the tachometer was a dealer installed item, not factory, it would have been mounted in a chrome cup on the dash pad next to/near the guide-matic (electric eye) headlight sensor,,,
Wow great video brings back memories my buddy had a 65 GS Riv same motor just a different color it was maroon unfortunately his girlfriend threw brake fluid all over the hood and you know what that does love the video keep up the good work I am a new subscriber
The Pinnacle of Buick Design. By far my favorite year. The Black looks Fantastic. Everything goes well with Black.
Just watched a video of a ‘65 Riviera restomod that Detroit Speed did. It’s an absolutely incredible build
Buick one of the most underrated cars
One of my all time favorite classic cars. Wish I had the money to spend on that. Would love to own an original like that.
A totally gorgeous car. Buick did not offer power door locks for the Riviera, nor a power passenger seat. Both additions are very sexy.
Damn, I really need to win a lottery someday! 😂
Would almost kill to own a ride like this now.
Twin Carter AFB carbs,, YES!!
I believe that particular car has all the options that they offered in that year.
It doesn't have the power bucket (driver) seat and I passenger remote mirror.
THIS IS AWESOME STATE OF THE ART....IN 1965. Don't get me wrong but, so many people see these cars and want them but have never really owned them
First time seeing the seat belt holder on the console. Was it an option.. would like that on my 65
It's Gran Sport and Grand National. Please change "GranD Sport" in the title of this video.
What year had the roll up speedometer?
My grandma had 1 that had that

When I say coolant bottle I meant to say window washer fluid bottle. - Jonathan
The accessories button is for the rear defroster that was another option that's hard to get.
Fabulous.

My favorite Riv
Rear window defogger might be accessory

Nice car.
Btw... the electric eye DOES work on this car!
What about the 4 note horn ? I heard it blow.✌

Very nice car, I have to assume it’s sold ?
A special Buick, of course it was built in Flint.
Nice car and a good presentation. ..and lose the hat. :)
클래식카를 가질 여유가 있다면 제일먼저 바로 사고 싶을 정도로 매력이 있네요.
영어를 몰라서 가격이 얼만지는 모르겠지만...
살 수 있는 건가요...??😂
Excellent car second owner beautiful is it still for sale
Wowee
having found this segment in June 2024, i will assume the car is sold; searched your page and it's not found.
