What a wonderful surprise this morning to see my question answered about the Purry Stars tutorials! Thank you so much!!! I can't wait to get started on this quilt!! ❤❤❤❤
Thank you for the wonderful tutorial. I am in love with your sheep patterns. Love the field trip to the fabric store last week. I am so in love with sheep and bees due to the fact they give us so much. Thank you again for sharing your Saturday with us.
Thank you so much Corey! I prepurchased a "Purry Stars" quilt kit which I cannot wait to get. I'll rewatch this tutorial to catch all your tips as I piece it. This is so helpful. Love your fabrics & patterns. 🥰❤
Thank you for this video. I had already purchased the purry stars pattern some time ago but had not looked over the instructions yet. This video is very helpful, and somewhat involved.
Thanks for the tutorial, Corey! I am mist definitely a visual learner, and even clear patterns come easier with a demo. I love the Starberry mockup! So çute!
@@CorianderQuiltsHi, Corey. I purchased the Purry PDF on June 1st but haven’t found the download. The purchase shows as complete in PayPal but doesn’t show up in Etsy as a purchase. I apologize for using this platform for an Etsy question but could not find any email to contact you. Thank you for any help in solving the mystery.
@@Djenks57 Thanks for reaching out! If you could send me a message on Etsy that would be perfect. When you are in the Coriander Quilts shop on Etsy.com, there are a couple different contact buttons on the main page that you can click to contact me. There is one on the top/right side and another one on the left side...either of those will work. =)
LOL...he's so laid back I don't think he could work up to being jealous. He's such a chill cat....now Frances on the other hand---she's the feisty one.
Also… this tutorial was great! Very easy to follow along and everything was explained very clearly without giving the pattern away. Thanks! Now I just need to decide which fabric collection to use! 😊
Oh good...I always hope things make sense as I share a tutorial! =) Have fun choosing your fabrics---that's probably one of my favorite parts of a project. =)
Thank you so much, Corey. I had a problem with Etsy about my account when I went to purchase your pattern. It took a few days and many emails to Etsy. As soon as they sorted it out, you didn't delay on sending me the pattern. Very grateful. Thank you. ❤
Very helpful and very thoughtful of you for this tutorial. My son and daughter in law are parents to rescue kitties and they will love this quilt. 🐈🐈⬛
Fantastic video as usual. I just ordered this pattern… it is going to make an awesome Christmas gift for my younger daughter. She lost her 17 year old kitty earlier this year, I know she we love this.
I recently bought this pattern! Along with wooly stars…just my favorites. My 20 yr old furbaby just crossed the rainbow bridge so I plan a memory purry stars pillow.
What a purrrfectly cute block!! (I’m sure you haven’t heard that one before!) 😂 Thank you for sharing your excitement! I will definitely be looking for this pattern to do in the future! 🧵
Could you be anymore amazing!!! I have this quilt in the queue as a Christmas gift for my son and girlfriend and this video gave me the confidence that I needed!!!
There is a digital version available as well. If you want to cancel the paper pattern you ordered and purchase the PDF version let me know over on Etsy! =)
I love this quilt! I purchased the pattern and can't wait to make it with a fat quarter bundle. I appreciate you testing out fat quarters for the blocks. I have 3 kitties and this will be a great quilt to add to my cat collection! :)
I just purchased the pattern. My plan is to make all my cats black using different Halloween fabrics except one cat which will be orange. Thanks for the tutorial Corey.
Working like a mad man on my purry stars quilt just bought the pattern so easy very nice instructions ❤ working on 9-patch right now thank you so much ❤
Love Purry Stars. I purchased this pattern right after it was released. I'm using a mixer of Lori Holt's fabrics in Reds, Pinks, Purples and Teals for Valentines. I ran out of background fabric and had to order more, then FQS didn't place the fabric in my order and had to wait longer to get it. I really need to get back to it, but today I'm working with Old Glory and working on My Sew Quilty Life, Flower Stand BOM.
You know what you could do?!?....swap out one of the Ohio stars for a 6" heart quilt block. Wouldn't that be cute in your Valentines palette!...Purry Hearts. =)
Corey, thank you for the tutorial. I am a visual learner, and this will help me so much. You explain things so well. I am headed to your shop to order a paper copy and to your blog to see it done up in your beautiful Starberry fabric ❤
You're so welcome!...I'm so glad that you found the tutorial helpful! I can't wait to see what you think of the Starberry version of Purry Stars...I thought it was so cute!
I bought it and want to make it in the next few days - at least get started. Thanks for doing it. It's so cute! I will freely admit to buying it because of how you did the tail - and to support you. Thanks for giving us an inexpensive but very cute pattern!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. After I bought the pattern I thought it looked like a lot of pieces and a little complicated. You explain things so well that I'm now ready to make the quilt.
Thank you for this tutorial, this is cute block. I think an individual block would make a cute small wall hanging or pillow. My daughter likes stars in quilts and is a kitty person, and now I think I have a Christmas idea for her.
I bought the pattern as soon as it came out! I’m planning a cat quilt for this year and I plan to use two of these cats in the design. My hope is that I can wrap my mind around the stitch-and-flip units to reverse the cat’s direction on one of them. I think I can do it! 😀
Your instruction sheet is great, but having a visual demonstration is fantastic! I think I'll practice by making a pillow first, since I'm a newbie, to see how well I do. Thanks!!
Thank you for this video. Your instructions are so clear and easy to follow. Love this pattern also. Now just need time. I’m working on gathering my starberry fabric for your next sew along.
This is a great tutorial! My snowball corners are always wonky. I was told once to barely sew a scant from the drawn line and then trim. I’m going to try your method next time. Your pressing looks so good without frayed seams.
If you find your top square is regularly too short (doesn't quite meet those outside edges) sewing slightly to the outside edge of the drawn line can eliminate that problem.
👋👋 great tutorial. I have it on my list, and I’ll be making a bedrunner with 3 Purry stars. I have one project in front of this, but my fabrics are pulled and starched. 😊😊 Thanks a bunch.
