Thank you for the tutorial. I love the tree with the Ohio star! ❤
I think I could add an Ohio Star block into so many different projects!
I love how you clarify each step in the block. Thank you, Corey. What a fabulous quilt this going to be. 🌲
You are so welcome!
What a fun time! So relaxing to listen to your instructions and follow along in the book. Love having the pressing directions in the pattern. First block done- ready for the next!!
Yay!....it's so fun to sew along with everyone. =)
You are such a great instructor. I’m going to watch this video several times and then try it. Thanks for the tutorial. Such a great job!
Thank you so much!...you are so welcome..I'm so glad you found it helpful!
This is a beautiful block, Cory. It’s one of my all time favorite blocks.
Thanks so much! I think I could add an Ohio Star block to just about any quilt block. =)
OMG! I have never made an Ohio Star before....I was apprehensive since I'm fairly new at quilting; however your directions were so clear to understand verbally and then reinforce with reading in the pattern that it was a SUCCESS. All my points are perfect....thank you so much. Can't wait for the next block tutuorial!
Yay!...that's the best! I'm so glad the tutorial helped you out and your Ohio Star block turned out beautifully. =)
Beautiful block, thank you for this tutorial! Love your scrappy turtle quilt in the background!
You're so welcome!...and thank you!
You are a great teacher! Can't wait to make this block on Friday!
Have fun!
Thank you again, I just received the booklet. Love how you show us the hows and more. Great quilt to put together..
You are so welcome!
Thank you, Corey, for sharing the HST tip for salvaging your great fabric! Just think of the possibilities!!!
You are so welcome!

Thanks so much!
Thank you so much. I love the pattern and the fabric.
You are so welcome!...thank you!
Such a cute tree block! Hugs, Chel 🌸
Thank you! 😊
Yesss!!! Im ready!!!! I had to substitute a few fabrics for others in the collection but it's okay!! My quilt shop doesn't have them all yet.
It's always so much fun to sew along with everyone!
You are so amazing, I really like your videos. Thanks
You are so welcome!...thank you!
I loved the three quilts behind you, initially I did not see the turtle, I think you were standing more to one side so covering up a majority of the turtle. When I realized I loved all three and you were done with the tutorial I jumped to buy the patterns. I was delighted to realized that I already own this book, so they were right under my nose. Thanks Corey your the best. Love to all involved Tracy
Isn't that the best when you realize you already have the pattern!
I purchased the starberry fabric to make your #165 Snowy pattern. So glad I could get some of the black floral fabric that everyone seems to be out of already! I'm going to use it in the snowballs and add a wide border to it also. I can hardly wait to get started!
I think Snowy is so pretty in Starberry fabrics. =)
Love can’t wait to start. Just waiting for my background and will be good to go!!
I hope you have fun when you dive in. =)
Excellent! It seems to be an easy block to make! Thanks.
You are welcome!
Can’t wait to get started! Thanks for your excellent directions!
You're so welcome!
Thank you! Will love making this!
You're so welcome!
So excited to start. My fabric is coming this Friday and I’m so excited
Wonderful!
Can't wait to get my pattern!
Such a cute tree block. I can't afford to join this quilt along at this time but have all the fabric for the Oh Happy Day QAL I missed out on. Im hoping to start that and do a block as you share one for the Cuddle Up Sampler. Love seeing those Oh Happy Day quilts again as well.
That's a great idea Margaret. I really like the Oh, Happy Day! Sampler quilt. =)
Thank you for the tutorial....I am all set to go!
Have fun!
Love this block
Thank you!
Need to go and start cutting.
Have fun! =)
That is so cute
Thanks so much!
What is the quilt pattern on the left please? and can you advise the skill level needed to make it, it’s beautiful.
I also want to know
All of the quilts in the backdrop of the video are from the book Oh, Happy Day. I have it linked in the description box below the video. I'm not sure if you mean my left or the left as you are looking at the screen...but if you let me know I can give you more info. about the specific quilt.
Thank you. Which left LOL …the one to your right, left for us viewers.
@@Dbatem That quilt pattern is called Proposal. Quilting techniques used in that quilt are: accurately cutting lots of pieces, accurate 1/4" seam allowance, and snowball corners.
@@CorianderQuilts thank you!!
I really needed this today!
It's fun to have an extra video this week. =)
I have a new idea...maybe I should just start the sampler...may add in the cat..
@@angelbaker8620 Yesterday, I laid the cat block right beside the tree block and thought how cute they were together. =)
@@CorianderQuilts that's what I'm thinking!!!!
So cute💚
Thank you!
Very nice
Thank you!
Good Morning from HOT Florida❤️
Good morning!
My LQS is still waiting for their shipment! It was supposed to arrive in May!😢
They could check with their sales rep about the status of their order if they wanted to. =)
Great tutorial as always. Etsy order pending... but when will turtle in back ground be on Etsy?
The turtle quilt is in my book Oh, Happy Day. I have the book linked in the description box below the video. =)
Do you use steam in your iron when pressing? Beautiful block!!
Yes I do. =)
Hi may I ask where I can purchase the little alphabet letters that you use when preparing your blocks. Love this quilt, thank you for your fabulous videos, ideas tips and fabric lines! Jx ❤
They are called Alphabitties and are designed by Fat Quarter Shop: shrsl.com/4l29r
Was thinking of use different backgrounds for the blocks (3 different colored snowflakes) and then the sashing in a 4th. Do you think that would work?
You could use a scrappy background...I probably wouldn't use fabrics with a lot of contrast for the background as that will pull the eye away from the blocks.
where did you get those little letter tiles that you have placed over your cut pieces? Love the tree block with Ohio star! So beautiful
They are called Alphabitties and they are a Fat Quarter Shop product: shrsl.com/4l29r
@@CorianderQuilts Thank you so much!
how would i get the pattern for the turtle quilt behind you and the pattern to your right..please please
Both of those patterns are in my book Oh, Happy Day. It’s linked in the description box below the video.
Corey: I ordered the starberry fat quarter, but I can’t find the yardage of the green. I found the red in your Etsy shop. Any idea how to find it? I have looked at fat quarter shop, Missouri Star and no luck.
I'm not selling any Starberry fabric in my Etsy shop but there would be other Etsy sellers as well as other online quilt shops that you could purchase from. I like using the name of the fabric line plus the sku when I am googling for a specific fabric. You can see all of the Starberry fabrics and their sku number at this link: my.modafabrics.com/webfiles/fcc_starberry.pdf So, for example, if you were looking for the green sheep fabric, you would google "Starberry 29183 13"
I just saw as well that the pattern is sold out ! Will it be made available again or is there a pdf option ?
I've added more to the shop. And yes, it's also available in a PDF version. =)
Pattern is sold out 😢
I've added more to the shop. =)
Thanks @@CorianderQuilts
