I agree with your philosophy, however if a tool or item does suck you could still make a video on it "warning" us about it and to stay away, I've tried to do that a few times myself. Good stuff though as always man
I'm a pipefitter, and I bend a lot of stainless steel tubing for lube systems on different hydraulic machinery. I've been in need of a tool that ACTUALLY DOES A GOOD JOB at deburring the outside edge of 3/16"-1/2" tubing for years now, this looks like it will be great for that! thanks!
thxs this tool is a life saver I work in a bid truck shop and the wheel studs on the steer axles stick out and drivers are always hitting stuff and they get messed up I use to file them but the uniburr makes quick work of this age old problem
I enjoy every video that you make even the ones that I don't like but if you have to go in depth, but as a fabricator meaning I work industrial construction your tools and my tools coexist. Every Friday episode she want to make some of your viewers want to get into the garage keep up the good work and keep teaching us some of your tools of choice
I was just trying to see what it was after seeing this on a website for sale, but I could actually use that since I work with alot of threaded bolts welded to steel wall, just like the test plate you had there, to mount electrical cables. The only thing is we simply use a die nut and we don't need to dress it up since we will mount material on it.
Beats trying to chuck a piece of threaded rod into the drill to spin it against a file or trying to rotate it by hand against the grinder. I'm going to have to pick one of these up!
Cool stuff! I cut bolts kinda often and a tool like that would come in handy instead of having to grinding the edges down like I do now. Keep the great videos coming!
The Fab Forums Yesssir! But now all my tools are in boxes and I'm temporarily living with the in laws. So I'm on a hunt for land to open up shop on. Been crazy over here but it's Good to see ya again.
Wish they had bigger sizes. I have to cut u bolts for school busses all the time and this would make quick work of chamfering the cut edge. Great video man, keep up the good work!
Why didn't I have that tool a while back? It would have saved the people around my from all my swearing, sweat, blood and struggle! A definite need-must tool to get! Keep up the good work "son"!!!
You never can enough tools rather it's used everyday or once a year if it does the job it is worth it. I have been using a similar tool in the tool and die side of the arena and they are not cheap so this one is not as heavy as the one I been using for years by the way I have never sharpened the one that I have. I would speculate that this one you have would do thousands of cuts also.
Do you have any info if they quit making these? I used the links in the description and it looks like they may have quit making these. I need one or two for my shop and would like to buy a quality one, made in America, and unless I can find one of these somewhere besides their website the only other option is cheap imports on amazon.
Enjoyed this vid all the way around. From the good morning, to the belch, to the rods welded to plate you just happened to have lying around. (Who doesn't, right?!) Thought maybe you should do a once a year "You Need This Tool, Rejects Edition" just so we can learn from your experience and not buy crap. Great stuff! Love the vids.
no more grinding you're finger on the grinder stone when you're trying to fix the stupid mess you did when you're trying the fix the dam rod. sweet tool boss!
Thanks man. I could have used this when installing a ceiling light in an electrical box that is half the depth then I am used to. I needed to cut the length of the bolts and manually die grind the chamfer (weird word)
Seems like I could dress the bolt end with an angle grinder as fast as it would take me to fish this too out of the box and chuck it up. Unless I had a bunch of ends to do.
good morning from California, so this tool is almost like a pencil sharpener ? , it doesn't seem very useful ( my opinion) there's always sand paper lol , this is one of those tools you buy and lose it in the first couple days!
You didn't review my tractor supply gloves man! 15 bucks for a pack of three and I liked them better than the 20 dollar a pair Mechanixs brand. To be specific they are good metal fabricating gloves. I wouldn't weld with them, but over all they ware better then the pricier pair.
The Fab Forums WestChester is the brand. They took heavy spark abuse from me grinding the welds on my shortened 8.8. Like the channel and your attitude man. Good stuff bro god bless
Hey man! Put on some goggles! Remember... I don't want to see you in another "Pirate" movie w/Johnny Depp. You got metal chips flying around and it don't take but ONE and YOU'RE BUTT AND EYE IS DONE! No one has to say it, I know I'm a wuss. I don't have a problem with that.
I agree with your philosophy, however if a tool or item does suck you could still make a video on it "warning" us about it and to stay away, I've tried to do that a few times myself. Good stuff though as always man
Thanks man....we need to still try and get together on something
a trick: watch movies on flixzone. I've been using it for watching a lot of movies lately.
@Dash Mason Yea, I've been using flixzone for since december myself =)

Tks-man
Beats trying to chuck a piece of threaded rod into the drill to spin it against a file or trying to rotate it by hand against the grinder. I'm going to have to pick one of these up!
yeah it could make it much easier
No more file and grinder. Value is in time saved, Aint that the truth!
yeah I thought that tag line they used was great
Does the base model work on lug nuts for a car/truck?
Cool stuff! I cut bolts kinda often and a tool like that would come in handy instead of having to grinding the edges down like I do now.
Keep the great videos coming!
Thanks man. You get everything moved?

Where at in TX are you?
The Fab Forums San Antonio.
Nice. I love San Antonio. I will hit you up the next time I am down that way.
Man, I can't remember what day it is...let me watch this video....ooooh it's Friday fool! :)
lol
Wish they had bigger sizes. I have to cut u bolts for school busses all the time and this would make quick work of chamfering the cut edge. Great video man, keep up the good work!
Thanks
Also, I've always just used my bench grinder to deburr the edges of cut rods and bolts
Why didn't I have that tool a while back? It would have saved the people around my from all my swearing, sweat, blood and struggle! A definite need-must tool to get! Keep up the good work "son"!!!
haha....yeah for sure
Good review, the soundtrack did my head in.... Cheers
Another simple tool that works great. Cost is a bit high though.
That is a definite cool tool and can be an asset for sure. I am going to pick one up.
yeah some see value in it some dont

I agree tools are what really make the magic happen
Cool video, I soooooo want a bead roller to make all kinds of stuff. Sloooooooowly building my tools up.
lol

Congrats on the first sponsored tool. Keep the videos coming.

i think if u go out with a toolbox. its nice and small for its pupose, cant put a grinder in ur back pocket. or inside the case with ur bores.
very true
I just got a set of these today. No more sandpaper or files
they are pretty good when sharp , after they get dull sometimes you still have to run a die over it.
gotcha
Awesome! I was looking for the name of this tool. I've become a fan of your channel! Thanks and keep up the good work!
thanks for watching Evin
could be handy. I usually use grinder or file at work. I'm in construction we always burning threads.
same here
excelente herramienta, ayuda mucho con tornillos golpeados, y le da buena terminacion. saludos. y gracias.
Found it....dang it it's not available on Amazon any more
Tons of them on Amazon.
@@ramaroodle post a link
How do I deburr cut ends of a 3/16" stainless TIG welding rod I am using for a hanger straps by the tens or hundreds?
One at a time
Or with a grinder an drill still one at a time
I've actually seen these before and didn't know if it would honestly live up to the "hype" Mind changed!
I was the same way
Appreciate the honesty!
no prob
no more grinding you're finger on the grinder stone when you're trying to fix the stupid mess you did when you're trying the fix the dam rod. sweet tool boss!
thats right
sad day... - Currently unavailable.
We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock.
reviews are quite terrible on it too..
Yeah I am still not real sure how long its going to stay sharp...I guess the good thing is you hardly ever need it
Thanks man. I could have used this when installing a ceiling light in an electrical box that is half the depth then I am used to. I needed to cut the length of the bolts and manually die grind the chamfer (weird word)
no problem
Awesome works better then my bench grinder with better results. I'm getting some! 👍👍
could nice for those things you cant get to the grinder
Now that you have that tool you may find yourself having a use for it more often. You think?
yeah maybe
this would definitely come in handy!
I agree
nothing wrong with featuring a tool with a specific use. im sure somone watching this does this sort of work daily.
for sure
I definitely need one in the tool box
could be very useful
Good tool. Use it a lot.
yeah I could see it coming in handy
sure as hell beats always having to grab the thread files to clean the ends up.
Yeah for sure
That is cool, gonna have to pick one up.
you kind of failed to show the actual nuts not fitting on the bolts after the hit and it should be shown after cutting the bolts too
A little humor is great!
Love your channel man, thx for the great content
thanks
Seems like I could dress the bolt end with an angle grinder as fast as it would take me to fish this too out of the box and chuck it up. Unless I had a bunch of ends to do.
guess so
good morning from California, so this tool is almost like a pencil sharpener ? , it doesn't seem very useful ( my opinion) there's always sand paper lol , this is one of those tools you buy and lose it in the first couple days!
yeah similar to a pencil sharpener
Good morning to you, Kyle!👍

good video, not so much the tool. Appreciate the video once again
welcome...not always for everyone
I worked for uniburr as a blade sharpener when they started it sucked I hated it I sharpened the 3 small blades in the cone
that would suck
It's technically a chamferring tool. Yes, chamfering does remove burrs but the tool is designed too chamfer Not deburr.
I can't wait to find one of those out in the streets.......👊🏽
that deburring tool is bad asz. looks like you had some decent chips coming off the ends of the studs.
yeah it worked pretty well
Keep it honest. All I can ask for.
for sure
yes
👍👍👍👍👍 muy bueno gracias i feliz navidad ..

I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it!
Great tool if you don't want one.
40 dollars? O_O I got one from ebay at 5
Unibuuuurrrp

5 minutes before the content starts...
Interesting bro
I try
After 7 minutes of bullshit, you finally got to why I looked at the video!!!!!
Took 2 mins to get to the actual tool. We know who the real tool is...
Tried one a couple of months ago, not really impressed. Better off with a good file and a little practice.
cool
Still no eye protection ‼️‼️‼️
GOOD MORNING AMERICA! !!!
lol....thats right

Thanks for the review. Please share bad reviews to help us from buying some p.o.s. at no cost to you since you got it for free!

The Fab Forums True enough, maybe call it " You Don't need this tool!"
