I was a 1970's and 80's kid. Heard of this movie but never saw it. Too adult for me to watch back then anyway. Poor Richard Long at 10:51 in black tuxedo would die December 21, 1974. Just two months after filming from a heart attack at age 47. He had heart problems. His drinking and cigarette smoking did not help. Plus, Kate Jackson wearing red dress would soon be busy doing her "Charlies Angels" Television series with Farrah Fawcett and Jacqueline Smith. The man next to her is Edward Albert-Son to Green Acres star Eddie Albert. They were a real-life couple unmarried and living together at the time. I don’t always go for popular stuff. I have never watched the Simpsons, for example, as I find them very ugly! Lol 😂. Perhaps another reason why is that I am not into celebrities. To me actors are just people doing a particular job. If they do it well then they can make a lot of money. They also tend to have the morals of alley cats! Not all of them but perhaps most. As to why anyone would listen to their opinions regarding endorsements of presidential candidates totally escapes me! Great chatting to you. Good night.
I love me some good Ole movies. This movie was before my time in 1974. I came a little later. A matter of fact i just celebrate my birthday of this month October 1 😅 ❤
The Radney's bickering over children made me empathize with both. They discussed having children before they got married. A few years later, she changes her mind, while he hasn't. She wants to get pregnant and have a child. He doesn't want her pregnant and isn't interested in raising a child. The Masons' marriage was good when they were a young couple. Now that the children are grown, the husband is moving on to enjoy life with his wife without the children, while his wife wants to continue her life with the children. He wants to do things. She wants to be in her children's lives.
Loved this film. No in your face sex, excessive gore or foul mouthed bag language. It might not be “action packed” and all that entails, but it is very entertaining. Thank you for that.

her and Kate Jackson ❤❤

@@scottymom4420 The behemoths today are over done. Oh to go back to the seventies and eighties.
It's rather ironic that the movie is titled "Death Cruise" and all the passengers who end up dead really are dead in real life and the only surviving passenger is alive in real life (Kate Jackson).
Thanks for ruining the ending for viewers who hadn't seen the movie yet.
@@GeminiladyJackson-xq6hc **SPOILER ALERT** The film is called "Death Cruise", that should be your first clue that people are going to die. As evidenced by the comments here, people watch the movie first, then comment about what takes place in the movie.
Haha. Yet another person who doesn’t understand the meaning of the word ironic
Irony does not travel the Atlantic
Us military uniforms look ill cut compared with Europe
Lot of good actors (biological males)and actresses (biological females) in this movie.

Richard Long was a man’s man.
Its always about money. This was really good mystery.
Yup. 💰not 😍 I checked how much a million bucks back then is worth today, and it's over 6.6 million buckaroos.
The only happy couple in this movie was the captain and the doctor!😂
While Tom Bosley -wearing white tux was doing his "Happy Days" show! Thanks for the blast into my childhood past. 😊
I was a kid in the 70’s as well This movie was on tv the night when I
was a kid, and reminds me of when I was a little boy. I walked in on my parents having sex when I was 11. At the time I didn’t know I was jut a kid. mommy was on her hands and knees pretending she was a horsey and daddy was riding her from behind pretending he was a jockey . But what I didn’t get was, why they were naked? So at Sunday school the following Sunday I told Mother Maria my Sunday school teacher the game mommy and daddy were playing and I asked why they had no clothes on? She had no idea either!🤔
@@JohnnyRayedd-Neck WOW! Thanks for sharing! I had fun in the 1970's. Went to Disneyworld and other places. Hope you had fun back then too. too. All the best.
I wish they gave these TV movies a remastering to improve the picture quality. I was I my early teens in the 70’s but I just love to watch them now. So different from the heavy stuff you see now. I also love ‘Haunts of the very rich, also in YT.
I love 💕 the music that plays after Richard long’s face gets crossed out, the clip of the boat on the water, that music.
Here for Richard Long💗 and Tom Bosley of course.
I have never heard of Richard Long. From the comments, he seems to have been very popular.
Big Valley was so good, everyone on the show was a fine actor. I worked down the road from Barbara Stanwyck's house. I used to drive by hoping to see her but never got the opportunity.
Riveting !!!
Enjoyable watch so far...🎉🎉🎉
Noticed they fix comercials to run longer before skip them now ,its still not going to do any good Im not buying anybodys junk. This is a great movie thank you😊

Have you really never heard of Tom Bosley or Kate Jackson? I thought everyone knew them. Happy Days and Charlie's Angels were huge.. 🙃
@@amywhite9972 I really hadn’t heard of them. You probably hit the nail on the head as to why. I actually did not like either of those shows much and didn’t watch them. Were they in them? I don’t always go for popular stuff. I have never watched the Simpsons, for example, as I find them very ugly! Lol 😂. Perhaps another reason why is that I am not into celebrities. To me actors are just people doing a particular job. If they do it well then they can make a lot of money. They also tend to have the morals of alley cats! Not all of them but perhaps most. As to why anyone would listen to their opinions regarding endorsements of presidential candidates totally escapes me! Great chatting to you. Good night.
Jerry was Jarrod Barkley in The Big Valley. I’ve seen that on reruns. Great show. He musta had bout 4 months to live when this was filmed.

hmmmnnn!!!!!! Reenforces my view not to go on these cruises lmao!!!! Quite a cliff hangar! Kept me onthe edge of my seat!!!!!!!!
I lived in Atlanta for 20 years. Why in the name of all that's romantic would anyone honeymoon there?
The Radney's bickering over children made me empathize with both. They discussed having children before they got married. A few years later, she changes her mind, while he hasn't. She wants to get pregnant and have a child. He doesn't want her pregnant and isn't interested in raising a child.
The Masons' marriage was good when they were a young couple. Now that the children are grown, the husband is moving on to enjoy life with his wife without the children, while his wife wants to continue her life with the children. He wants to do things. She wants to be in her children's lives.
Agree
This is like a movie version of the love boat lol. I'm liking this. Thank you 😊
Cross between The Love Boat and 10 Little Indians. Edward Albert and Kate Jackson were living together at this time.
Loved this film. No in your face sex, excessive gore or foul mouthed bag language. It might not be “action packed” and all that entails, but it is very entertaining. Thank you for that.
The 'perfect crime' always, unfailingly, has one flaw; it's never perfect.
Best movie I have seen in a long time. Great actors and the ending was a surprise!!!
Im at 50 minutes and I think it is the Doctor who is the killer. I’ll have to wait and see if I was right.

Yeah, pretty lousy writing there.
All these great actors - and then there's the guy playing the ships doctor 😞

Richard Long is only like 46 .... he doesn't look like he'll be dead in less than 2 months, 4 days after his 47th birthday! 😮😢 scary stuff.
Bad heart. Had his first heart attack at 33. Juliet Mills (Nanny and the Professor) said he knew he had a problem but he didn't want to live like an invalid, so he didn't.
Nostalgic recall of Movie of the Week style. This was one of the better ones. Of course, it is a variant on themes by Agatha Christie like 10 Little Indians, this time on a cruise boat. But good fun.
I always enjoy watching films from 1974 and it is interesting to see what cruising was like in those days and the fashions of the time. Ugh those ruffled shirts!
