The creaking of that ship sounds like my bones in the wintertime.
Sounds like my bones anytime. *It was even worse years ago when I was still living.
Well, you have now officially Joined the club.
Very good underwater sequences especially considering when this was made. Poor Tiger sharks. Killing them for a movie definitely isn’t cool. 😢
Wow the acting and writing in this movie was really top-notch.
Nice sound effects that were used in The Forbidden Planet.
Its a theramin used by many film makers and the b gees.
@@CptEnoch G,The forbidden planet what century was that 🤔
One of the most spooky Bermuda Triangle movies ever! Haunting !! I really enjoyed it!! Thanks
You're kidding, right?
I thought that this was one of the most pathetic scripts I have ever seen.
@@peterbamforth6453 I saw way worse Bermuda Triangle movies than this!!
I saw this movie a long time ago. I too think it's the best. Thanks for showing it. 🙂
You're welcome
😂 Nice one
I like this old movie. It's amazing it had actors from all over John Huston USA, Andre Garcia Dominican Republic/Mexico, Hugo Stiglitz Mexico, Gloria Guida Italy, Marina Vlady France, Claudine Auger France, Rene Cardona III Mexico, Carlos East Mexico. All well-known at the time for various things.
And not a single one can act!

Like for their inability to ACT?
LOL
If you're watching this movie you're already lost in the Bermuda Triangle
Cool man, that's exactly what I set out to do. I'm gonna go with the flow and see where it takes me. What a trip.
@@richardhewer335 The Bermuda Triangle..... Been there, done that, bought the T shirt etc etc etc. Nothing much to explore there, only strange new dimensions.
How? Please explain.
@@richardhewer335 Yep,you're quite right!🤭🤣
This movie was rejected by the Bermuda Triangle.
Absolutely hilarious. Genuinely enjoyable, though not for the reasons they intended.
Enjoying this one! "Diane.." @1:19 hahaha. Always love to see the inimitable John Huston, even tho this seems to be dubbed (badly) en English, this is a good movie. Thank you for sharing. ✨
Je me rappelle d'avoir vu ce film au début des années 80 à la télévision..⭐
andres Garcia es uno de los mejores actores mexicanos de todos los tiempos !!!!
@@riksim4242 YO LA VI EN 1978, EN ESPAÑOL Y AHORA DOBLADA AL INGLES.
I am thinking most or almost all of the actors and actresses in this movie have passed away. After all this movie came out in the year (1978). This is my first time watching this movie.
🌍 Somos los Chalos, y Aldota está con nosotros. 👍
I visited Bermuda in 1985 with my gf, it's beautiful, but a few incidents we could've done without but the beaches are amazing.
What's important is you got out of it to tell the tale.
When i was a kid that doll really scared the heck out of me. And i saw the trailer. This is the first time i see it. Funny. The doll still scary. Dubbing scary too.
i am 75 and the doll was absolutely terrifying. Now i am afraid of all dolls.
the sound dubbing has issues. Can't believe Cardona Jr. was okay with it. But still . a fun film ! great topic. I want to see more !
Low Point in Houstons life😢
I was 13 years old in 1978.😊
This movie is proof that acting classes are needed!
This movie is proof that some people (like this entire cast) shouldn't be in movies to begin with.
Not acting classes. Just actors.
It's not a movie but a documentary
This MOVIE>> The Bermuda Triangle also a great ,,Enjoy to watching 👍👍
1978 best year ever
I was legally able to buy hard liquor in 1978. I was 18.
@@deliveryguy7402 very good😊
I agree. It was full of travel, women and great music.
@@deliveryguy7402A few years earlier I couldn’t buy booze until I was 21. I could kill in the army but I wasn’t allowed to drink. But that didn’t stop me. I got others to buy my booze. And when stationed at Fort Bliss, El Paso I went to Juarez and bought dozens of bottles of fine liquors. On a trip back home on leave I had a bottle of tequila with me. Soon after takeoff the bottle slipped off the seat and broke on the floor. The entire plane smelled like tequila. Imagine that happening now. Air marshals would arrest me and charge me with terrorism. (But I couldn’t even get on a plane with that much booze).
Puma Man is loat in the triangle...the 70s obsessed with Bermuda Triangle and Titanic.
Gloria Guida and Claudine Auger ❤

Funny I was stationed at Vieques , Puerto Rico in 1978., an actually closed it down that same yr. The navy pounded with their big guns for their target practice. The clearest water I've ever seen. There was a lot of spooky happenin there
Do tell 😂❤
Is that doll related to Chuckie, man ole Doc sure can belt down da liquor eh...great version of the Bermuda 🔺️ Triangle, old movies rule..
The girl that played the scary doll is a Mexican actress of norwegian-russian origin, Nailea Norvind. She is also a royal. Her mothers ancestry goes back to the Russian Zars. Also, she looks here a lot like Linda Blair from the Exorcist.
NEVER go into the Bermuda Triangle while wearing Bermuda shorts.
😂
@@gern7535 gotcha
@@gern7535 now you tell me

🤣
Dude this movie sounds like 1 person overdubbed all the voices, lol
The little boy and the little girl are insufferable.
Sharks were not THAT popular during the late 1970s, mostly because of the movie Jaws and for years they were considered fair game and a very popular one at that all over the world. Many rich people and celebrities would go to get their own. That lasted until ecologists like Jacques Cousteau and others had made enough noise to stop the slaughter. Just to put this movie in context.
Any movie wth an actor named Stiglitz is going to be great. When in doubt give me more Stiglitz and more cowbell.
😂🤣
I've been there. I was married back then. I fell asleep and when I awoke I looked for my wife and couldn't find her. The first officer said that I had come aboard BY MYSELF. I thought for a second and said...great !!!
I never saw her again, but my recorder at home said that me and her had gone on a Cruise!!! Oh well.
John Huston prior to his hands becoming badly affected by arthritis....no really impressed with the acting on this film, seems like he is the only known name. He was a great actor...God bless his soul
Gloria Guida seems familiar. (spelt wrong in credits) (Suida).
How could you miss the beautiful Gloria Guida and Bond Girl Claudine Auger? 😂❤
Some great actors and some so bad it's scary in this movie.
Watch this one, pure 70's action
haven't seen this since it came out 46yrs ago
Hugo Stiglitz? There was a character with that name in Tarantino's "Inglourious Basterds". Wonder if there's a connection...
As a recreational and NASA diver I am repulsed at how they needlessly killed sharks in this movie. When diving in open water I respected animal and plant life. I don’t understand people who feel the urge to kill in water or land. If they are trying to show off their ‘masculinity’ do something other than murder animals.
If those sharks were attacking those people then I can understand why they were shooting them
@ But it’s a movie. They didn’t have to kill animals. They killed because it was cheaper.
@@MovieMakingMan Mostly due to ignorance I’d think.
This isn't a modern movie, its how they used to think back in the olden days..
@ Yeah. Sadly that’s true.
Muy buena película. Desde Argentina 🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷
Why were they killing the sharks? From what I saw they were not being attacked by the sharks. Blood only brings more sharks. They were not down very deep at where they were diving.
Really liked this movie.
The ship must be the "City of Glasgow" 1854, where the little girl has been turned into a doll 0:01.
In historical fact: The City of Glasgow wasn't just a passenger sailing ship. She was a British 3 mast sailing-steam powered screw propeller-Bargue Ocean liner ship. The City of Glasgow did in fact made it's final route voyage from Philadelphia Pennsylvania, USA to Liverpool England, then she was considered to be "Lost at sea" in March 1854.
I remember watching this as a kid.
Beginning at 21:18 - 22:00 is a music/sound effect sequence from The Forbidden Planet when the creature attacks.
Very good, a milestone in mexican movies. Good charismatic actors, first time on silver screen of such an evil doll. Jorge Zamora as Simon the cook refreshes its ambiance with his wise cracks, this movie an all time winner !!
1:00:36 For playing a girl with two broken knees, Gloria Guida is particularly bad in this scene. All she has to say is « There completely destroyed right? » and it’s sound to me like « I will be late for my meeting » or « I just broke a nail ». 😊
She must have a doppelganger because Barbara Bach , bond film fame is the double of her!
Looked it up you are correct.
Don't forget to book your next trip into the Bermuda Triangle with Harr Travel.
very good movie
Great movie to watch
Sharks are the most wonderful creatures and DO NOT deserve to be killed .The sea is their home and humans are the invaders x
RIGHT..............and weeds should take over your yard and your garden, ehh? I bet you have a pit bull that bites people and you blame the people.
The boys voice is creepy enough
Killing so many sharks just for a movie is wrong to me...and as a Sailor, I don't like sharks.
Didn’t know about this movie until my father started watching it. Geez obviously a TV movie I didn’t know Flight 19 were T-28s (duh TBMs unless they didn’t have airworthy types to use).
the sound effects seem ripped off from the movie "the forbidden planet"
Like the Forbidden Planet soundtrack...
Why didn't they swim up when the columns fell? They just swam along the bottom. At least we didn't have to listen to them talk the whole time they were scuba diving😂😂😂
Ein herrlicher Blödsinn mit teils hochkarätiger Besetzung aus der ganzen Welt der Plot des Films ist etwas flach dennoch zählt er zu den kultfilmen der 70er
Slaughtering animals for a movie is abominably stupid.
Hmmm...Think about this...Bugs Killed on Windshields could have been FOOD for other Creatures....so ALL Vehicles should be outlawed right??? Now, take some TIME to Digest this....Everything...and I mean EVERY Single Living Entity on Earth has to INGEST the Life Force of another LIVING CREATURE in order to continue living. Yes, even PLANTS and Bacteria do. All Living Organisms have a NERVOUS SYSTEM and Feel Pain...YES...Even Plants and Trees. Eating FRUIT is the same as eating a LAMB or other Animal's Baby. Even if you keep the SEEDS and Plant them you have ROBBED that Plant's Offspring of the Nutrients the Seeds NEEDED in order to grow properly when you ate the MEAT of the Fruit which is equal to a Mammal's Placenta for Nutrients and feeding the Plant Embryo.
Who or Whatever created this World we live ON was a Sadistic and Cruel Entity. It's unconscionable that Living Creatures MUST take the Life of another to continue living. Whether that life was predicated on or died of natural causes or Disease is not even relevant, just that Life NEEDS the Life Force of another Creature to continue living by DESIGN is Horrific. So, neither Vegan or Carnivore is either Ethical or Benevolent...it's ALL MURDER!!!!
Go Cogitate and Research what I wrote above and then be HAPPY with telling people how HORRIBLE they are for KILLING. Have a Nice Day/Life. 😁😁😁😁😇🥰😘
I totally agree and anyway humans do not belong in the ocean. i stand with the sharks xx
That scene disgusted me! It's possible the filmmakers used footage of shark hunts but still it disgusts me! I also didn't like the scenes of the characters littering the ocean. Times have obviously changed in forty plus years. Claudine Auger also appears in a James Bond film which is also set in Bermuda/Miami. For me the characters lost all sympathy when they went after the sharks!
I totally agree with u

No animals were harmed in the making of this film in 1978, or not?,... where's my teddy 🧸? I'm scared. Storm aporoaching. Cozy. Poor sharks! What's for dinner, honey? I dislke that dolly. Ok.
You don't just kill Sharks out of sport, they are a valuable part of the ecosystem!!!!
Yeah, they keep humans from over populating .
It’s Gloria Guida not “Suida” typed in the description. And remarkably she’s still smokin hot. 😊
Will fix the typo. Thanks for mentioning it.
and the two rescue planes sent out after FLIGHT 19 disappeared also went missing>>>SOME DO NOT MENTION THAT FACT>>>>The doll may have been in reference to the doll found years after the titanic sank
I was only twenty, there was a soccer World Cup in Argentina, and a whole lifetime ahead…
0:38 Aaah,.poor blonde 🍼 baby 😢
Good story though. But it seems like all the actors had shared the same dope pipe.... Look at their eyes.... 😂😂😂
BooYa 👍💪🏆🙏 Thank you

Searching for people that fell overboard.......without a light ??
Gloria Guida looks so stunningly beautiful! The boy sounds like a grown woman.
Yes, his voice sounds terrible 😂
Something strange about this movie. Seems they are talking but seems they are being dubbed over?🤔I think not original sound track!
What was underneath the boat?

I think we all know, if you know his history, who Houston is scoping out in the cast....
All seventy-five did not return home ...
They drowned in the depths of the sea!
I heard of 2-dimensional characters, now I know there also exist 1-dimensional ones...
Who was in charge of the actors acting....? They must have been on a permanent coffee break..
I'm halfway but I don't think this is about the Bermuda triangle 😂 scary, I don't want to keep watching after the cook got ....
Hugo Stiglitz, 40 yrs before Inglorious Basterds...
the audio does not seem to match the actors, looks like dubbing
The movie Is in Spanish and dubbed. If you can, try to find the one in its original language and It Is a lot diferent. Dialogues feel a lot more natural and the voices sound better, unlike here where sound kinda cartoon-ish 😁

Ok, it looks like they are speaking english, but sounds badly dubbed. What is that?
With sound effects taken from Forbidden Planet 😂
👍👍👍
The dialogue is too mechanical and unnatura.
Don't know how much of a horror movie but it was spooky. Dialogue was so wooden, obviously not made in America.
Wut advertisment “Casa Bahia “ in the Film at 15:25 ? 😡🤮
The doll wants raw meat???...wtf
GO GO there is HOPE!! Go go gone!! NO HOPE!! JUST AVOID THE TRIANGLE!!
wtf is with this film? its a spaghetti Scifi
Why did they kill the sharks? They didn't look as if they were about to attack!!
So we are to assume that the boat was terrorized by a possesed doll followed by some aliens!!!???
Sad, the movie itself is pretty interesting...but the actors are awful, the delivery of the lines are flat and emotionless, its like watching a 2nd grade play...the scenery, the cinematography, the production quality, all good...but the writing, and the actors is not even 2nd rate...it sounds like they're taking turns reading from a book
Because it was dubbed
Lol
The dubbing is as awful as the writing.
BAD BAD BAD
@@libra42ful The dialogues sound a lot more natural in its original language, Spanish

They had to save as much money as they could, what with such bad acting and low budget special effects.
