So it seems we really need stretchy material for the neckband because it is absolutely miniature compared to the space it needs to cover in the body suit. Have you ever tried this with regular cotton minimal stretch material and add shoulder snaps? I bought the same pattern you are using. Thanks!
One way I found to make sure the fabric doesn't stretch as you see, is to use some baking paper under the fabric as you sew. Then all you do is tear it off afterwards ☺️
I found that using a straight top stitch around the neck opening would cause the stitches to break when I was putting it over baby’s head. Prior to getting a coverstitch machine I used a small zigzag stitch instead.
I’ve tried several times with the 18 month size and cant get the leg openings to match up at the bottom. The back bottom is too much wider than the front bottom.
Thank you for the tip of sewing the cuff and sleeve seperate. That makes it so much easier!!!
I love the little sleeve hack! Definitely makes it easier so thanks!
So glad you enjoyed it!

Great video. I'm definitely making a few of these
I’m so glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching!!
Love this! Do you need to use a special ribbing fabric for the cuffs, or is just a knit ok?
I just use a knit fabric or a rib knit fabric when I do this!
The onesie turned out so cute!
*my husband kept turning around asking what I said... he said your voice sounds like mine. Haha.
Great video!
I love peekaboo onesie patterns!

Is legband a little bit shorter than this onesie or the same length?
I’m not sure I understand what your asking? The leg band is a little smaller so that it fits around the leg snug, if that’s what you meant.
I had just said similarly, oh my gosh I love it, then heard you said it. Funny.
I feel like I’m always saying that! I just love making things!
Do you have a pattern drafting tutorial to that baby onesie
Super cute! I have been scared to see with knit fabric, but you made it look easy enough I’m gonna give it a try!!

How do you measure the front and back part to make a perfect cut and fit for the body?

You could also use a twin needle :)
What kind fabric you use there

Hm that is strange. Hopefully you got this issue figured out!
