    R u using the same template for back n front. Sleeves intimidate me. I think I’m gona do a sleeveless n see how it comes out. N the brown fabric? Is that normal ribbon or what is the name of the edge fabric.

    • @PatternsbyAnna
      @PatternsbyAnna  4 роки тому +2

      Hi. I use two different templates for front and back. The brown fabric is "stretch cotton ribbon" :-) Sleeves can be hard to get right. The best tip I got is to take your time. Do the prepping and sewing carefully. The worst thing that can happend is doing it again😊 Good luck😊

      There are plenty of ways to get it on your fabric. You can f.ex cut out the size you need, apply it on the fabric and cut the fabric like that. Or you can draw around it first with a water disolving marker. Or you can apply it to plastic and cut it from there. The choice is yours :)

      We can of course make mistakes, but with the reasons I just mentioned I truly believe that the sizes on this pattern is correct.
      If you should find any errors on any of our patterns, please let us know. Critique is not negative for us. Its a great way to improve and do things better.

      @@BM-tx2ph I Don't think you are dumb. I don't believe that people that want to learn and seek knowledge are dumb, I believe that's an actual scientific sign of being smart. We have all started from scratch, Even Einstein had to start somewhere. Sewing is hard to learn and master, but that's a reason for being so rewarding.
      The hem is a folding edge. We need two parts for the arm because we are sewing two arms. There is so much fun to learn about sewing, A great tip for beginners is to check out some Facebook groups for sewing, lots of learning, and show and tell in these groups.
      We haven't made a complete beginners tutorial video jet, but definitely something we will take a closer look at.
      And please don't be to scared to start sewing. We all make stupid mistakes and mess up. It's part of the growing process, When we try to get better or master something new we can and will fail, that's called learning in my book.
