Hi. I use two different templates for front and back. The brown fabric is "stretch cotton ribbon" :-) Sleeves can be hard to get right. The best tip I got is to take your time. Do the prepping and sewing carefully. The worst thing that can happend is doing it again😊 Good luck😊

Hi, You can make the onesie using a regular sewing machine, with the same procedure as me. I recommend Using a False overlock seam and a three point zigzag seam on the edge ribbons. Binding folders is also available for regular sewing machines. We will definetly consider to remake this tutorial using a regular sewing machine.

Hi. Thanks for asking. Those are EU sizes. I dont know which system you use. But I converted it to the US and the AUS messurement system for you. US sizes: EU size 54 is preemie. EU size 62 is up to 3 months. EU size 68 is up to 6 months EU size 74 is up to 9 months EU size 80 is up to 12 months EU size 86 is up to 18 months EU size 92 is 2t EU size 98 is 2-t-3t AUS sizes: EU size 54 is 000 EU size 62 is 00 EU size 68 is 0 EU size 74 is 1 EU size 80 is 1,5 EU size 86 is 2 EU size 92 is 2,5 EU size 98 is 3
The A4 pattern is actual size :-) There are plenty of ways to get it on your fabric. You can f.ex cut out the size you need, apply it on the fabric and cut the fabric like that. Or you can draw around it first with a water disolving marker. Or you can apply it to plastic and cut it from there. The choice is yours :) Im very glad you asked. We should definetly do a tutorial on this. And for your first question, We need to make our patterns more userfriendly across messurement systems. So we are going to work on that as well :-)

I understand your concern. Thats why we test all sizes, by sewing them at least once before we release the patterns. We have upwards to a thousand download on this pattern and we have not recived any negative feedback. The plastic layer is the pattern. I transfered the pattern from the paper to the construction plastic. You can get the plastic from any hardware store and the pattern is free at happy-sewing.com.

@@BM-tx2ph I Don't think you are dumb. I don't believe that people that want to learn and seek knowledge are dumb, I believe that's an actual scientific sign of being smart. We have all started from scratch, Even Einstein had to start somewhere. Sewing is hard to learn and master, but that's a reason for being so rewarding. The hem is a folding edge. We need two parts for the arm because we are sewing two arms. There is so much fun to learn about sewing, A great tip for beginners is to check out some Facebook groups for sewing, lots of learning, and show and tell in these groups. We haven't made a complete beginners tutorial video jet, but definitely something we will take a closer look at. And please don't be to scared to start sewing. We all make stupid mistakes and mess up. It's part of the growing process, When we try to get better or master something new we can and will fail, that's called learning in my book. I use a finished roll from the store that is 4.2 cm wide. you can make it yourself in rib or cotton jersey.
