    remote canyon with no cell phone reception.
    unseasonably cold day.
    wet, slippery environment, with hazardous ledges.
    lack of enough daylight time to do hike.
    one or both probably lacking in skill/experience, additional proper equipment, physical fitness, and evaluating danger.
    recipe for disaster.

    Read Jeremy passed away from alcoholism. Not sure if it’s true, but here, it sounds like you can hear him slurring in his interview and his eyes are a bit slammed 😕. Hearing him talk about the guilt makes me wonder if he just couldn’t let go of this accident.

    I think his brother should help try to give him warm stuff and water and food and fire if he can... before taking off... you got to think the worse then what you think you can go do... because help can take forever then you think to find the person you lost...

    • @Gizziiusa
      @Gizziiusa 3 роки тому

      no wood around to get a fire started. also, he had no climbing equipment to get out of the canyon fast. im guessing he simply needed to get back to the car and get within cell phone reception as soon as possible for the best outcome.
      all in all, they planned poorly and unsafely.

    I wish in india also ,rescue should be done like that, one mans life value should be important for government. Also adventure sports like this should be encouraged and not discouraged. Today camping in Indias any part is very difficult bcoz of old prevailing rules of forest laws. There is no scope to take permission being granted by the forest officials.

    Hiked a few hours in. One guy falls in deeper. Other guy doesn't fall in, but still takes him days to get out. Rescuers take days to get to him. Hours to haul him up out of there.
    Why the h*ll didn't the guy go back up the same place they rapelled down ? If it is not possible to do that, then how were they planning to get out of there ? Makes no sense to me, take a one way hike down into a canyon, just for fun ?? ✌️
