A few facts about this video will tell you all you need to know about the impact Joe and Mario's mother death had on them and this album:
- This was recorded at their mother's old studio in their house in France, a place where they spent many time as kids.
- Their mother was an artist and taught them lots of things (besides drumming, Mario also paints).
- The ambient reflects the pain they were still feeling (I can't imagine how hard it must've been to go there after her death).
- The dancer/performer is their cousin, who is playing the role of their mother.

You guys are exposing me to music I would probably never hear. I'm just shy of 60 years old and I used to listen to RUSH, AC/DC, Skinny Puppy, etc., so I actually enjoyed this track. IF you've never heard "Tom Sawyer" by RUSH, I would highly recommend it. Thanks for another great video.

lmao This is metal. There is no "softer side". lol Why the heck would a metal head want "soft" rock. That's not what we like. Mario Duplantier is a god. He's in my top 5 drummers of all time. You guys are definitely not metalheads but that's what makes the world go round....differences. It's all good. I love Gojira and I'm 61. My sons love Gojira. We are metalheads. I can wear a Gojira t-shirt with confidence because I know the songs and the band. I just don't look good in black lol.
