praying for John in Jesus' mighty name - my husband left a 28 year marriage 5 years ago. I had become increasingly disabled but greatly spiritual. There was no conversation, just "I want to live!..." he said and I was a burden. I too have prayed for him and my daughter who was corrupted in University - Its heartbreaking - I will add John to my list Sheree.
Amen thank you for your preaching and encouraging sermons. The old praying women are few because nowadays women don't want to stay at home seeking the Lord many of them are more interested in a career and money therefore time for family and prayer is not a priority in their lives . They believe if i havent a career there is no big house or purpose in life and sadly this is the problem. I haven't chose this way as I want to focus my time on what matters to me the Lord and God has always supplied enough for my Husband children and I .How can we sit at Jesus's feet when we are rushing around and spend time in his presence in regular reading of he word and prayer. Something gives way as we are all given the same amount of time and CT Studd said " Only one life will soon be past and it is only what is done FOR CHRIST will last "

Very timely message on prayer. My husband passed into the celestial city early on Saturday morning. Some of the last words he heard were from John 14:27. Also my son's father in law rededicated his life to the Lord in May. He passed away six weeks ago after a very short illness. My son and daughter in law are strong believers and despite their grief over the deaths of both their dads. We always need to pray and not to faint.
I have prayed a lot for my son Gary hes an agnostic 😢... I don't know how to ask God anymore for his salvation...ive asked Many many times... Lost for word's lately 😢
That happens to me, too. God bless you. Now I know others have that same struggle. Then I remember when we don't know how to pray or what to pray, the Holy Spirit lifts up the right words for us. So, that helps me when I have the times like you described. (sometimes I don't remember that though). 😑 Then I just am forthright with God and tell Him I just don't know how to pray for them. 🤍👑🤍

Thank you, Brother Keith, I'm an intercessor...I pray. I would like some guidance on fasting, however. I do, but not enough. I have questions that I would appreciate help with. Do we ask God how long we are to fast? How do we go about it so that it is in the Spirit? I was just praying today about it...that I be on fire for fasting along with my praying. That I be serious about the scriptures that tell us to. The Lord answered my prayers years ago when I asked what His will was for me...what did He want me to do while we are waiting for Jesus' return. He gave me Luke 2:36-38) they are in regard to Anna the prophetess who never left the temple....and impressed upon me the "but served God with fastings and prayers night and day (full time intercession and other prayers)....and also the second part of 38--and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem. (I took that as being ready to share the gospel of Jesus at any given time.) He also has given other verses on praying as confirmation as well. I believe these things are for each of us to do...but I believe that's what He has for me to do with my life and my time. And it's been an up and down road to get where I am more faithful to Him and diligent in it...I think it's the flesh that fights that kind of commitment and the adversary distracting....maybe many things. As you shared your message many a time I spoke to the Lord, "Thank You, Lord. I know I needed to hear this." or, "Yes, Lord, I know this is for me.", or, Thank You, Lord, that is so helpful." One thing that has helped me in the spiritual battles is to use scriptures...for example...both Psalm 60:12 and 108:13 are the same and have been a comfort and a strength in battles...."Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies." ❇️ Another one as another example is, Micah 7:8) Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy, when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.❇️ And sing praises to God! In church this morning, as the Olympics were prayed over... Nothing, NOTHING was said about the demonic inversion of The Last Supper. I commented that as we read Psalm 57 - if David had not been incensed by Goliath and his brothers how different his life would have been. Yet as a church there is nothing said about this affront? I'm met by blank faces - have I got this so very wrong?
I think it might genuinely be due to the fact that so few people have even bothered to watch the Olympics. The high place it once held in popular culture seems to have faded from importance in the minds of many, and perhaps especially the saints. It could be interpreted as a good thing that so many Christians simply aren’t even keeping up with the hollow spectacle.
@@ChrisHowlandOfficial I did see the protests on the streets of Paris. Signs held up "JESUS! Je t'aime". images of the inversion of the Last Supper etc are being scrubbed from the internet - as are so many other articles, videos, blogs about ANYTHING that tells the TRUTH. These are darkening times and I personally feel a separation is happening - like wheat and tares - I take heed of the letter to the church of the Laodiceans - LET US NEVER BE FOUND LUKEWARM in our love of God above EVERYTHING. 🙌
