I'm so grateful to have heard this message about how to and how not to pray. I've been seeking God on the very subject. I feel my prayer has been answered, so now putting these steps into practice. Especially, when Mr. Lewis talked about being distracted when I pray. So now when I pray I must rebuke distractions. The other thing is I would pray a lot in bed, but no more. No I don't agree with that at all. Many Saints struggled with distracted prayer. If anything, distracted prayer is more difficult yet we push through and refuse to let the enemy stop us. It's easy to pray when you're happy and focused... I'm sorry about your son and said a prayer for him. St. Maximilian Kolbe is the patron Saint of Addictions. You can ask him to pray for your son. i dont understand christianity... i do and i dont. i dont come from a believing family but i do... sometimes. i doubt a lot. my mind comes up with so many evil things to combat the truth of christ and the bible. i go to dark places. im tired of it. He says praying in the flesh ,on earthly worries, is worthless! Surely this is not correct. I pray every day. If I have no worries I just pray for God's will in my life. If on any given dayI have worries (earthly fleshy worries!) I pray on them how can I not! I am only human! Don't let this sermon discourage you from prayer 🙏

I find hard praying sitting get stomach cramps so how does this fit in. I find it easier lying on my bed at night to meditaite . Sometimes my prayers are very powerful hot thats not correct. I do pray sitting as well makes no difference. Same experience.

I find hard praying sitting get stomach cramps so how does this fit in. I find it easier lying on my bed at night to meditaite . Sometimes my prayers are very powerful hot thats not correct. I do pray sitting as well makes no difference. Same experience.
