This was very beautiful. You can see how much Sherlock really loves John and Mary. He's certainly expressing it in his own unique way, but everyone can see how much he cares about them. He's becoming more human, more kind, more compassionate, more wonderful with them. Before John and Mary, Sherlock was a brilliant, socially inept, blunt sociopath. With John and Mary, Sherlock is a funny, unexpectedly tender, brilliant, slightly less socially inept, honest sociopath. He's found his place in the world, with those two, and Molly, Mycroft and Lestrade of course.
Mostly agree with your comment, but, sorry, I disagree with the "sociopath."
It's officially stated by Steven Moffat in an interview a few years ago that Sherlocks remark from the "so called" "high functioning sociopath" was never meant serious, only sarcastic. Noone can define himself about ASPD. How can you seriously believe it? A man who will always put the life of his friends above his own, who will in the most worst case would sacrifice himself for them, can never be a sociopath.
He is someone who will always fight against crimes, want to punish the criminals and want justice for the victims of crimes. He works for people, not against them. Sherlock has strong moral principles and will always help people who need his help. A sociopath is the exactly opposite of this, he is antisocial and will never change his personality.
Only because Sherlock can't not good deal with people, makes him not antisocial.
The sarcastic "sociopath" remark he used only as a self-protection, because he wants not to get hurt by others.
Besides, "high functioning" fits more into the autistic spectrum than sociopathy. Makes more sense for me than the whole "high functioning sociopath" thing.
Btw, there aren't honest sociopaths - also psychopaths - are mostly pathological liars and manipulators. It's like their mission. Look at Eurus.
epicwriter96, I loved that he was vulnerable enough to make such friends. I don’t really think he’s a full blown sociopath. Either way, I loved his journey throughout.

I see Sherlock more on the autistic spectrum (ASD). Remember when John mentioned to Greg in ThoB: "Asperger's?"
Sherlock is only a self-proclaimed "sociopath." It's his own kind of self-protection because he was too much and often hurt and bullied in the past, because he was always different from others.
And, btw no real sociopath would think and talk about himself as bad as Sherlock does during his beautiful wedding speech.

Aw, wow, I am crying. This speech... Is the definition of a masterpiece. It defines everything that Sherlock is so beautifully. MOFFAT FOR ONCE HITTING US WITH WARM FEELS.

I rewatched the best man speech thirteen times so far.
I cried all thirteen times.
Now here's what's significant about this:
Before watching it, I hadn't cried in two years straight.
It wasn't a "goal" or anything, I'm just not a very emotional person.
Now every time I watch this, I'm on the floor *sobbing.*

This is incredible. I can't get over how much I love shows about people who clearly love each other but never want to say it. But they also do and when that happens, I drowned in my own tears.
I don't cry easily during movies or TV shows, so that fact that I have watched this episode twice AND this video and I still cry every time I find incredible. The writing is wonderful, the acting is spectacular, and all-in-all this scene was just perfect. So beautiful.

That was one of the best sherlock videos I've ever seen. No exaggeration. It truly was beautiful. But why did the music fade out like that? It seemed to have cut off too early.

I really didn't want to put the cynical bit in here. This video is just focusing on the sweet part. ^^ This is the music I wanted to use, and the cynical part did not fit the music.
Its perfect as it is, The cynical part would have cheapened what turned out to be a great tribute all the scenes cut together shows the relationship and love these characters share (I'm talking platonic love, I'm a Sherlock & Molly shipper.) That being said it was a fantastic & moving video. Well done :)

Excelent video, it would have been better if you would have put the part when sherlock deduces that mary is pregnant and they all laugh after it, and then sherlock looks to john with melancholy, and then there, put the part when he leaves te wedding. Anyway it was beatifull
