In the game you don't actually see the burial. But it's implied, because when reaching Tommy and Mariah's dam, Ellie and Joel find a small grave with I think a little teddy bear on it. Ellie tries to talk about it with Joel, trying making him open up, but Joel quickly shuts the talking.
Lamar Johnson, who played Henry, is so good & very intelligent. He learned not only his lines, but how to do ASL in ONE WEEKEND lol. As a computer engineer, I wouldn't even want to be forced to brush up on a language I haven't seen in a while for one weekend. That is quite impressive. It has been taking me forever to learn Spanish & I couldn't imagine having to do the hand gestures properly. The official podcast mentions it is very important to get the pacing down in ASL - some things are slow and others sped up for emphasis? from my understanding, anyway. That would really screw me up.
I just want to point out the poetic justice when Kathleen went from saying, “kids die all the time Henry” and then her being killed by a child clicker.
100% Miya still hates Abby, she was not tryna hear it with Kathleen, lol. Also, I didn't even think about if Sam wrote the "I'm sorry" at the end. Either way, leaving us with that lil gut punch of a shot at the end was an evil move, lol. Late or not, thanks for the reaction, Miya!
I've cried like a baby when I first watched the series when Sarah and Sam and Henry died I'm Watching with my mother (who never played the game) is in love with the show
didn't know you're a fellow Canadian!🤗the way I have to google where the states are like every episode lol also personally I think Kathleen's character was great. it's expected to have a "big, scary, angry" villain but someone who can be so calm and soft-spoken while saying/doing such evil shit is v scary lol means it's nothing to them
Such a good episode. Probably the best yet, and that's saying a lot. Also, why do reactors always apologize for "not talking a lot?" It's better when you _don't_ constantly talk.
This episode is so well done. I’m hurt that we lost both Henry and Sam. Was hoping they survived and traveled with them to Wyoming. Where the hell is Gimple when you need him! 🤦🏽♂️
SPOILERS FOR THOSE WHO DIDNT PLAY THE GAME This, Sarah's death, Riley's death and David's part are the most gut-wrenching parts of the story and it shows cuz even so many years later, even though Ik what's gonna happen, I still can't stomach it and cry like you do, so don't feel bad XD.
2:57 Girl you are all of us right here. Lol I think Perry is in love with Kathleen and that's why he goes along with all of her crazy stuff. He seems like an intelligent guy, but he let his feelings guide him.
great video! you are quickly becoming one of my fav TLOU reaction channels. You do a really good job of bringing up the games, but not into crazy detail. Plus you are really nice to look at 🥰. But I totally agree, Kathleen was a bit weak. I love the idea of a storyline around the main Hunters antagonist, but HER? Miya, you could totally beat her up lol. Check out the official TLOU podcast with the VA who played Joel in the games, Troy Baker, Neil & Craig. Craig knew that actress well - I believe I have seen her in corny comedies before? Not the biggest fan. It seems like a BIG favor a friend did for a friend lol. If anything, make Perry, who played Tommy in the games, the leader of the Kansas City revolution. He is a great actor, they could have made him menacing and crazy. Like the Pope in TWD, but actually good and believable lol. Yeah, I felt you on this one. Sam & Henry actors were fantastic, wish we got some more time with them. If you listen to the podcast, they admit they were thinking about not killing Henry. That would've been a cool change.
Well, she has people who would beat up Miya for her :) I liked her as a not so obvious villain. Evil humans don't have to be necessarily big, strong and intimidating. Sometimes the mousy, quieter ones can be the worst. Kathleen makes clear that cruelty and ruthlessness is in everybody. Her character didn't really work for me though because of the lacking back story - how did the overthrow FEDRA with her as a leader, what did she do? She doesn't seem to me as a strategic mastermind.
@@cherrypi_b They better not even THINK about beating up Miya! If they try to harm a hair on Miya's head I will pull a bloater on Perry & his crew for trying that shit.. Protecc her at ALL COST lol. But fr I get your point, tho, Cherry. She was *OK*. I just thought it was an odd choice considering how menacing that sequence could have been with a proper villain! that is all.
i've been refreshing your page my whole work shift for content and knew you'd deliver. i was wondering is YOU from Netflix be something you watch/react to? hope you have a good weekend ❤️
I don't play video games so help me understand. How do you have enough time to get attached to any one but Joel and Ellie while playing the game. Aren't you constantly on the lookout for the infected and people who want to harm you? How does it work? Is there enough down time so that Joel and Ellie just sit and talk to people for a length of time and get to know them. I'm really curious.
Heyy, yeah so there’s more dialogue here and there in between the gameplay (which can take long it depends) that gives you some more understanding of Henry and Sam’s characters and also their relationship the cutscenes as well add to it, they were very easy to like a grown attached to in the game whether you had a lot of time with them or not in my opinion🤷🏽♀️
@@MiyaElizabethReacts thanks for explaining it to me. I watched another reactor play part of the game and he spent a lot of time running around looking for weapons and fighting so that's what made me wonder.
A lot of ppl haven’t played the game, and it seems as if you are giving away a lot of the important details of the game before it even takes place in the show.. I mean, I understand your excitement, but let’s dial it back for those of us who haven’t played the game. 😌
Sorry this video is so late I had a busy week ☺️
still looking gorgeous, and not even crying can make you less so
Miss your old GOT background
@@Vadermaul400 I know me too i gotta move my things to this new setup 😭

The fact they made him deaf hit 10x harder to me
