"Video game version of clerks" is such a true statement about double jump video games vlogs. I love clerks so that makes perfect sense.
Cooper and the crew are amazing. There fair on the prices and the shipping is so fast it’s amazing. I bought multiple items from double jump and never ever had 1 issue.

Finally someone does some reviews for these guys they are so much better then oldies by far its really sad to see they have such a smaller amount of people on there channel they are so much better priced and take way better care of there stock they store there games in cases and plastic shells for the carts and the smaller ones get put in small little baggies there stuff is in way better condition as well they deserve more notice then oldies i hope people put there name out there more

@@SoulforSale there smaller so that is a lot of the reason why and as far as shipping goes im all for paying more in shipping provided my items arrive in tact besides many agree oldies issue isnt there prices its there lies and deceitful behavior they wanna over charge people fine thats fully on the buyer if there stupid enough to do it by all means but when your selling stuff that's advertised as refurbished but you got many customers coming forward with broken or non refurbished stuff and your charging them way over market value and ypur response is lie to them or censor them then yes that is a major problem
@@Assassin-ys5vw I've never had a problem with DKOldies and there is no reason to pay more for my games just because it's not DKOldies. When I make an order from DKOldies and use coupon code Save5 any purchase I would make is cheaper than any other online reseller.
@@SoulforSale yeah that's a lie sorry but they been exposed there prices are higher then any other online store 2nd just because you havent had any issues does not mean others havent and trust me theres a lot of people reporting it right now so if your gonna lie for them or push your opinion keep that in mind its your choice to pay way over market value but your experience is not everyone elses
@@SoulforSale also as for your experience over half of you that say you have no problems with them ether base that opinion on buying shovelware games or because your to afraid or to stupid to know how to do the research needed to actually know what your buying not a single one of you know how to open a console and see how damaged or dirty it is or you let that sticker scare you into never looking i have yet to find a single one of you to prove me other wise and what's funny is oldies is also being caught censoring and deleting these peoples reviews and comments its very easy to give the allusion of satisfaction when your voice is the only one being heard try showing that support with out silencing those that have had issues and problems you will be drowned out because your outnumbered at least by 100 to 1

I have followed double jump for years and have ordered from them many times, and they are just amazing. I love all the employees, the prices are super affordable and ACTUAL market value, not to mention, they will refund you part of your shipping if they can make it cheaper; as a game collector myself, they are my go to place if I can't find what I need at my local game stores. I have nothing but good things to say about them, and they're WAYYY better than DKOldies. Just glad to see them get the recognition they deserve

I am a big VHS collector myself, and seeing a small portion of Double Jumps VHS inventory has me excited.
I have found most of my collection in the wild but there are select titles I will be looking for at their website.

I have an idea for a local store: hit up Fire and Ice in Rocklin! I’m in the same, relative NorCal area as you, and I try to take the trek up to Rocklin at least 1-2 weekends out of the month to check out Fire and Ice and their ever-changing selection. It is probably one of my favorites due to their STAGGERING inventory! Me and my stepdaughter absolutely love Fire and Ice; me for the games, her for the Pokémon cards! I think you will like their selection and both the owner and manager are really nice people! Love the video, it’s always great seeing your content! Buy a mystery box. They give great games, not many fillers and you'll get a box well worth the price
I wish my local game store did this, it's a place called Gameqore in Visalia CA and it's a neat little spot, also Blue Shell Gaming is an awesome game store in Fresno CA

Live near the physical store. It's not too bad..I did order stuff from them online for delivery during the Rona and it took forever and had to call a few times and was a hastle. But it got figured out eventually. Prices seem reasonable and the store is pretty cool. It's small but really cool.
Retro Game Trader on the other side of the river is another place that charges alot but actually refurbishes their stuff.
Double jump video games is hands down the best store I’ve been to! I have been to most, if not all of the retro video game stores on the west coast. I just recently got the legend of Zelda ocarina of time players guide in mint condition from them for only $34.99. eBay price is $55.00

Double jump isn’t a small shop, the store is huge. It’s the only location but it’s a big one.

I've been saying this for a long time I always feel like Double Jump as local video game store for me even though I live a few hours from the store( I always try to buy from them over Dkmoldies...) Cooper and Abbey are awesome ppl! I highly recommend supporting/buying from them via the store or website!
i already started adding stuff to me cart. I've been looking for a good priced mario 64 game that is NOT emulated
They don't sell consoles online, they reserved for their in store client, which is fair as they want to make sure they have stock for walkins
If you watch their youtube vids, you can also see they guarantee the carts are legit and 100% real. Unlike DKMoldies, Double Jump shows Kyle and Ryan doing repairs on the controllers and consoles and the process, its pretty dope.
I'm going to cite this video in an ethics paper I'mm writing. It's clear that good ethical practices will attract repeat customers and loyalty.

One of the worst practices in DKOldies is that they target people that dont know any better and take advantage of their taste for nostalgia... We can smell their BS they go after people like that lady that can be somewhere around her mid or late 30's that probably just played NES when she was little and never touched a system again till she had kids and was like "oh i wish i can show my kids what i used to play" so she'll go out of her way to pay $300+ for an NES bundle... And joey just plays the part "oh since your order got picked to be filmed im throwing in Mario Bros/Duck hunt..." Knowing that fact of the matter it wasn't free.... That overhead cost pays for that game.... Thats the reality...

Drew, the owner of DKOldies, is a slimeball who admittedly got into the retro sales industry because it was a money vehicle, and not because he had a passion for gaming. He and his company set a pretty low bar, so any improvement over that isn't difficult to achieve. Lol. I will check DJG out!

And double jump actually repair the disc they sell you so you won’t get a disc with a scratch on it.
I do agree that double jump is definitely better than dkoldies but some comparisons weren’t completely accurate like the final fantasy from double jump was greatest hits compared to the black label price from dkoldies
DKOldies actually destroyed an iQue for their TikTok or UA-cam. Apparently they thought it was some fake, Chinese knockoff Game Boy.

The sad thing about this is that DKOldies is making ALOT like WAYYYYYYY MORE money than Double Jump ONLY because of complete idiots like reviewtechUSA that keeps buying overpriced items from them just to find that ONE ITEM that is wrong so he can make a video about it and "expose them".... He gave them so many free publicity and money. He should do the same with better stores like Double Jump they deserve it.
