I always enjoy reading your written articles as you get the time to go into detail. If these Q&As are similar to that level of detail then that would be great.
I was surprised by the number of lugs on the BRX bolt; but when you see the rather small rotational engagement you see why they need the surface area.
Every time I see a new video about Beretta BRX1 my desire to buy it just getting stronger. Thanks for the explanation,Chris.
Glad to help
So it rotates like the PX4 Storm pistol. Beretta is just Genius!!!!
Very well explained Chris great video once again 👍👍
I would like to see a head to head comparison with Blaser R8.
It’s a totally different system
@@chrisparkin431 Everything on the this one, except the bolt-head is from the Blaser R93! Beretta used a turning bolt-head ie AR-style, while both the old Blaser R93 & R8 uses an expanding bolt-collet system!
Very useful Chris, it makes perfectly sense. Thx P.
Interesting video Chris . Love the BRX 1.
Both rifle and scope are very interesting good review Chris
Great video. Thank You. I wonder what the 'Length of Pull' adjusts to at its shortest and longest positions ?
Fascinating..... thanks for that Chris. Explained very, very well.
Glad you enjoyed it
Great and clear review. I keep seeing shooters move their face out of the way of the bolt carrier when loading. It seems the maneuver is necessary to avoid the bolt carrier as it comes back quite a bit. Doesn't that defeat one of the advantages of straight pull? which is to keep eye on the target/engaged at all times. Would love to hear from BRX1 owners if this observation is accurate or not.
@@fp4399 it is an accurate observation
G'Day Chris grear vido i have one of the scope you show here and they are great once you set them up i have it on my Bergara 300 Wim Mag and it great thanks for you vido keep up the great work
Len
I just bought 1 last month great rifle for the cost
Hello from Tennessee USA: What is your Scope choice?
In your opinion which, of all the straight pulls, is better and why?
Have a guess
Are we all allowed a go? ...... Merkel Helix ?? My pick if I could justify it.
Great video on the BRX1,but not so much interested in the scope
Love mine😎
So it won’t blow up my face when I pull the trigger, right?
Great video thanks, could you put in the UK list price for the items u review please.
Sadly No because they change all the time and I don't sell them or want to give youtube any more reasons to demonetise me
@@chrisparkin431 ok i understand, great video.
Hi Chris, when you make video with Mannlicher Monobloc..???????????????? 6,6 CM :)))))))
If and when somebody sends me one
Then we calling the Germans/Austrians and they should send one pretty rifle to you to check ;)))
@@7fordevil the UK importer will send me one if and when they deem it beneficial in the UK market I suppose, they certainly send me a lot of other brands they distribute
I don’t understand marketing guys…
This gun is so “sexy” and for all with wooden stock.
You had already Mannlicher SM 12 - when they see market for them, than they should know the same customer/clients level for Monoblock :)
Think i will keep my blaser🤷♂️
You can see where the money is on the blaser, engineering is so much more advanced and some how so much simpler at the same time
@@180del i love my r8
@@180del I looked at one of these when they came out because I was sick of paying the “Blaser tax”. Now having handled one I am so much happier to pay for any Blaser product as it made me appreciate the design and engineering so much more. It’s cost vs value and I can now see the value in my r8 much clearer.
@@180del Isn't it the other way around, BRX1 seems so much simpler and elegant?
@@jrgenminichen3815 hi mate any review I've seen on the brx1 and they say it feels clunky and not as finished as the blaser, never shot one but have had a hold of one in gun shop and didn't feel as nice
All im going to say is Merkel. Thanks for the video. 👍
