Cory...I'm sure I'm not the only one but no goodbye at the end...you left us hanging 😂😂😂 your face when the realisation set in that Kristen's impression was spot on 😂 Most babies have a trigger tone when people sing that sets erm off everytime 👋 goodbye
Strangely, I saw a video the other day of a baby doing that subtle crying when her mama was singing to her and it melted my heart so I'm not surprised it did the same to you guys. So adorable! What happened in that town was like a pay if forward circle. So great and community spirited. Shame more towns aren't like that.
So I'm freaking out a bit right now.... The onsie you had Chell in (the yellow one), if I'm not mistaken that's the one my fiancée and I sent. We've been waiting to see it and you have made our day, no doubt about it!!!!!! :D
I thought it was! :D We're glad you love it, we saw it and couldn't help but think how true it would be lol You are welcome, keep up the good work with the videos we love watching them
I loved this video!! OMG. So much sweetness with Chell. I loved that band (Never actually seen anyone playing the washboard before) and the whole tacos/music story. It's so heartening to see things like that happen, makes me really wish I'd been there hanging out. Also, the scenery is breathtaking!
We have a wild honey bee hive living in our orchard. I love going out there when they are leaving the hive in the morning and sometimes they will land on me. They seem to like the henna smell in my hair. My daughter gets nervous around the bees but I have handled wild bees my whole life and never been stung. My husband on the other hand has been stung but then he swats at them.
I was impressed by the bee petting. I would be heading in the opposite direction of that bee, haha. My closest experience with a bee was when one crashed onto my nose as I was walking. I just felt it bounce off my face; too weird. Luckily I've never been stung.
Babies can feel songs. They feel comfort from their parents voice and singing. They do feel emotions and they can be moved from it. There is another video on UA-cam of a baby being moved by her moms singing. :P it was precious.
I think Chell was responding to you emotionally when you were singing to her. I have seen this in another video. I believe it touched her deeply. Oh Yah, and we love your GoodBye!!
I like how you guys express your love about being in Alaska and obviously with Chell. You guys are really great with her. She's so lucky to have you both as parents.
I love seeing you guys and Chell. You are precious together. Thanks for showing us around Alaska. It is so beautiful and would love to visit some day. All I see are friends picts from the main tourist areas. Showing Mom a good time!
Cory-- I love the creative camera work. Very good stuff. Adds some dimension to the vlog. Glad you are getting out and having fun. Interesting about her reaction to your singing. Definitely work with that. Chell is reacting, for sure, but to what ? I think she is picking up on emotional context in your voice. That's special.
I've always wanted to visit Alaska and watching y'alls vlogs just illustrates how utterly beautiful it is there. I love how, even tho you live there now, you both don't take all that majesty for granted. it looks like you've picked a wonderful place to plant your family and we get the pleasure of watching it flourish through your videos. So, thank you for that! 😀
Those tacos looked absolutely perfect!! The band was super phenomenal!! And Kristen's "happy place" by the rushing water was beyond happy. I wish I could have been there to experience all of this first hand. What a wonderful day it must have been.
I started watching about 5months ago.. congrats on chell she is so beautiful and sweet and the eyes she gives you and your wife show the true love a child and parent share.. I can't wait to see her grow up.. from chittenango ny
Me too! I don't care if they are similar every night. That repetition is important and helps your You Tubers get sleepy and rest well. Sigh, the witching hour is upon me! Waaaaaaahhhhh! I need the comfort of G'BYE from Cory!
that car seat to crib trip was very smooth! well done! that small town looks like a wonderful place to adventure! it makes me want to find small towns near me to see what i can find
My friend and I started doing that this summer. The first trip was last month and we had a blast taking a bus tour thru Louisville KY. They are known for their Bourbon. We were given samples to drink as well as foods from hometown eateries , as well as a tour of the city. It was awesome. We don't know where we are going this month, but I'm sure it will be fun!
Thanks to you two I today sent a message to my mom and told her everything I'm thankful that they taught me and how they raised me, that I'm proud to see my mom and dad in myself every day, and that if I had raised myself I had probably done the same decisions my mom did. I wasn't an easy teenager so she really appreciated hearing that I am proud of them. :) The ending in this vlog was funny xD
I just realized something. I've been watching your videos for nearly 10 years, but ever since you did regular vlogging, you've never seemed like you have really changed. I was never one of those people that was saying, "I like the OLD Cory, go back to being Mr. Safety!" but now you're a father, and I just realized, that you having Chell around just seems so natural. You have clearly changed, but I never had the opinion that you were worse for ware because of it, and I think it's because of the natural progression that the vlogs have given us all over the past five years. It's so crazy to think about.
You reminded me of UA-cam's famous "Emotional Baby". I had to go back and watch her again. She cries like that when her mother sings to her - so sweet!
It has been so nice seeing you all on a daily basis again! Chell has grown so much already. Enjoy every second because the years really fly by. With love from Karen and Ella
Talkeetna is one of my happy places too! My family used to go camping right by the river and go fishing. It's a great place to just take a day trip to (as you guys did!) Next time I go I'll have to try those tacos :)
LOL! OMG what a great video! So much happy fun stuff in here, Dude. Can't believe I've been watching for so many years, and you can still surprise and delight your fans. The bit on the end with Kristen was *hilarious*! I saw her watching from the background, and then you realized what you were doing and I just broke up laughing. Thanks for all the happies!
Thanks for today's awesome vlog. The guys singing were awesome. We never see groups like that in Australia......we are definitely missing out. Do you know if you can buy their music on ITunes? I am so in awe of people in Alaska ❤️ Chell is growing so fast, so so adorable 🌹
After watching Dudelikehella over and over I feel I know Alaska more. When you said Talkeetna the cat mayor came to mind and the time you flew the plane, that time you almost fell in the ice when you were a straight newbie haha
Its been a couple years since i've watched your vlogs. It brings me joy to see you doing well and thats awesome that you're a father now. congratulations man!
sweet video. i've actually been to Talkeetna before, about 10 years ago. it was even a fun place back then. expensive, though, like everything in Alaska. hubby and i were staying with his sis in Palmer, AK, and took a trip to Talkeetna for the day. i love AK :)... God bless your dear little family.
I love sound of water, thank you for putting some of it just like it was at there. Thankfully I didn´t fall asleep like Chell did, but I´m glad she did. ^^ You should play that little part to her to get her sleepy or calm her down. ^^
Watching your videos makes me miss home! I used to live there but I had to move... Haven't been home since 2013... Hopefully I get a chance to come back and visit the beautiful place! Take care and I love you cute little family♥️
+DudeLikeHELLA Sweetheart Daddy, Between 5:27-5:38, (standing by the river) you need to be supporting ( like a scaffold) her head movements. She is a strong girl, but at such a young age, she doesn't have the neck muscle strength and control to self-regulate her head completely. Her head wobbles and can fall over and hurt her; proportionately, her head is very heavy, so help her hold it up so it doesn't fall over and hurt her. Much love!
+DudeLikeHELLA To clarify with specifics: It's not small head movements or wobbles that present a danger, but it's the falling over of her head that we want to prevent. It could injure her, cause a sprain, tweak her neck, cause her pain we don't want. It's those sudden falls of her head that are a risk to prevent. That's why adding the gentle scaffolding of your hand is so crucial. Once the child has Full control over their head, your hand only on their upper back is fine. But until then, you need to scaffold the head to prevent her head from falling over, and to protect her from big unexpected head and neck movements, even from arching her back suddenly. These involuntary muscle movements aren't predictable, they can happen suddenly, and when they do, your hand is her guard against too big a movement that could hurt her, or even cause her to fall backward with her head. We've got to give safety structure to the head and neck for the strength she doesn't yet have. :)
I've been watching since the beginning of your original channel and I'm still here. I met you at vidcon back in 2013 and I couldn't have been happier! I still have a shirt with your signature on it :-) Keep livin it up
Cory I love your videos.....so don't take this the wrong way....but....I really hope that Kristen does more videos of her own too. She is amazingly sweet.
Happy birthday Cory. I hope you have a great day with your lovely family. I have to admit that you're birthday being 2 days after mine makes it easy to remember.
this vlog has managed to cheer me up fairly well. my dog of 12 years passed away yesterday morning and my heart is absolutely broken and I haven't stop crying. she was a massive support for.me in some awful times. thankyou for your videos Corey
OK I hereby OFFICIALLY CONFIRM that Cory and Kristen have created THE most adorable little honey booboo ever. Ahhh that cute little face and those eyes... AWWW!
That's so awesome!! So glad you included the band's link! They sound great! Very excited you got to see your cousin! His food looks AWESOME!! Can he come to Texas?? LOL!!
people cry when I sing too. but not for the same reason. you might say my voice has healing qualities, people that have never run before, suddenly start running when I sing. lol
Hi Guys, I have some weird UA-cam disease that won't let me reply directly so I have to comment by reply to someone. Thanks Dianna for letting me use you as my comment buddy! I am a registered midwife and have been for 34 years. I always have a portable water feature turned on during the birth and recommend from day one to have one in the nursery so you might want to consider that with Chell. It's soothing for everyone during the birth process (me included) and babies sleep so much more soundly when they have one in their nursery. It lulls them to sleep, and provides that soothing noise they love to keep them asleep! I have to say too Kristen, you look SO beautiful, your skin is glowing ten times more than when you were pregnant and I am in awe of how beautiful you look every time you're on camera. No wonder Corey tells you that all the time. He is glowing too but in that daddy manly way, it's just such a pleasure to see you both. Trust your instincts with Chell they will never steer you wrong, don't feel you have to legitimize anything you do with her, it's all good. Keep making vlogs both of you, it's the highlight of my day! xo
This is actually something really cool, that I thought I would share. The only way I can hear water like this is either on videos, or when I am at the damn. Normal flowing water I cannot hear due to my deafness. Back to watching the video now. Just thought it was cool.
Those tacos looked so good. And the sluetownstrutters sound good. The guy playing I think it's called Bangalore idk the circle guitar looks like a guy in a movie on Netflix called Jackie and Ryan who plays a drifter and travels in trains. :) Loved that movie.
My husband and I sang a song to our girls that suddenly one night when I was singing it to my youngest and she just started to sob! She was older than Chell, maybe over a year. It didn't just happen that one time, but a couple of times after that. I had to stop singing it to her until she was older. It was almost as if it touched her in a certain way, like she understood the words. It's good to see Chell is more content each day!Next summer when we head down to Kenai for fishing we need to leave a day early (Fairbanks) so we can stop in Talkeetna (spelling?....but I can pronounce it) so we can camp there and check it out. We are always in a hurry.
+Kristen _ It still could have been digestive discomfort by timing happenstance, especially considering her unusual stinky bowel movements and pained fussiness. For instance, you know those taco shells were made of corn, and over 80% of corn in the states is gmo, which does damage to the DNA and to the body, that and the deadly roundup herbicide that is always used on gmo crops (glycosophate). If corn isn't organic, it is very likely gmo, and best to avoid it altogether. These corrupted foods can easily do damage to the person's digestive system, babies too through mommy's milk. Kristen, study gmo 's and electromagnetic radiation. These 2 are so destructive to so many people. For your further empowerment, see earth calm dot com.
Sorry, but she's way too young to transact such a complex emotional reaction as to "be touched" or "moved by joy and love" by crying to singing. That is a complex reaction of developed understandings. Her tears were likely rooted in the physical realm of discomfort. That is where the major stimuli is for an infant.
+CA Catr If em radiation is so bad, why are you using a computer? You should be living in a radio quiet zone with no lights or windows. If you vould get underground, even better. EM radiation woooooooo
It's ABOUT flam TIME If you sought education on the subject, you would realize there are mitigating devices. Electromagnetic frequencies go right through the earth, and then there's geopathic stress zones. To not be negatively impacted by unmitigated frequencies and its resultant radiation, one would have to be a thousand miles from all tech and civilization, not that mankind is all that civilized these days. Wooooooo yourself.
What happen??? Are you guys okay???? If you don't say Goodbye! the episode doesn't end... Now my life is thrown into a tailspin and We're all gunna die!!! Thanks Cory! (And by extension Kristen)
Oh I remember that first time when we unintentionally made the kids cry. First time with my DD... it broke my heart. First time it happened with my son... I thought it was adorable and tried doing it again :P lol Anywho... you gotta do your normal exit 'Goodbye'!!!! DO EEET!
I think Talkeetna was my favorite small town when I traveled around Alaska. I met the Kitty Mayor! I would have loved to have spent a couple days there like you suggested Kristen. Was just traveling through that day. BTW, those tacos looked amazing!!! 😁
Hey Cory, the plant with the berries on it your mom picked in Talkeetna was Lowbush cranberries. I pick those every year and make a fruit chutney with those for the holidays.
+DudeLikeHELLA +Kristen _ So long as you don't leave Chell in the carseat for HOURS AND HOURS AND HOURS she can take short naps in there. Leave the carseat on the floor so it can't get toppled over and don't leave her unsupervised. You can actually take the handle for the seat and bring it all the way around so it's kind of a stand behind/under the seat so she is at a better angle for sitting for a little longer.
I wonder if she was crying because it was so beautiful. I love tacos, what was in those tacos? Wow two streets or road names that are same as two of your family members. that is pretty cool. Nicely done transferring Chell from the car seat!
When Cory explained how he made Chell cry, I had to pause the video so I could laugh. It just was that sweet and funny! Kristen, you where sooo spot on on your imitation of Cory!! Now, I'm going for some real tacos, because while those look good, they are not the real deal, sorry.
Cory...I'm sure I'm not the only one but no goodbye at the end...you left us hanging 😂😂😂 your face when the realisation set in that Kristen's impression was spot on 😂 Most babies have a trigger tone when people sing that sets erm off everytime 👋 goodbye
Chell is so sweet. "its the best part of my youtube day to see her sweet face."
Again, YOU HAVE A UA-cam CHANNEL?!?!?!?!? o_o WHEN CHELL IS OLDER CAN SHE HAVE ONE?!?!?!?
true
Strangely, I saw a video the other day of a baby doing that subtle crying when her mama was singing to her and it melted my heart so I'm not surprised it did the same to you guys. So adorable! What happened in that town was like a pay if forward circle. So great and community spirited. Shame more towns aren't like that.
Cory, personally, I love your classic Goodbye at the end! Kristen's was spot on!
Yes. I'm feeling very incomplete without the goodbye....
yessss she nailed it so hard
Yes very incomplete with the Good Bye.... I was looking to see if I had missed something lol
So I'm freaking out a bit right now.... The onsie you had Chell in (the yellow one), if I'm not mistaken that's the one my fiancée and I sent. We've been waiting to see it and you have made our day, no doubt about it!!!!!! :D
This is the one! We love it! Thank you!!!
I thought it was! :D We're glad you love it, we saw it and couldn't help but think how true it would be lol You are welcome, keep up the good work with the videos we love watching them
+DudeLikeHELLA hey Cory
lol thats so cool!!
Little Chell wears the colour yellow super well!
I've never seen ANYONE pet a bee. That's super cool! I'm terrified of bees though.
+Kristen _ I won't xD the only animals I'll likely pet outside wherever I'm at are cats.
When I was little I would pet need all the time. I used to go to a nature camp and they showed us how to do it. It was pretty awesome
I was impressed by the bee petting. I would be heading in the opposite direction of that bee, haha. My closest experience with a bee was when one crashed onto my nose as I was walking. I just felt it bounce off my face; too weird. Luckily I've never been stung.

I think Chell was responding to you emotionally when you were singing to her. I have seen this in another video. I believe it touched her deeply.
Oh Yah, and we love your GoodBye!!
I love that Chell reacted to you singing, it's a great thing.
I like how you guys express your love about being in Alaska and obviously with Chell. You guys are really great with her. She's so lucky to have you both as parents.
beautiful scenery guys, amazing. people in small towns help one another.
I love seeing you guys and Chell. You are precious together. Thanks for showing us around Alaska. It is so beautiful and would love to visit some day. All I see are friends picts from the main tourist areas. Showing Mom a good time!
You are the only UA-camr where I have the notifications enabled. Love from Germany!
Dem ist nichts hinzuzufügen xD even more love from germany, Cory!
quadruple love from germany! :D
I have mine enabled too but for some reason I still don't get them :/
+Sandra Penello Rip UA-cam, at least his videos won't be demonitized, maybe.....
But I like your good night chats on the deck, they are lovingly predictable. Glad you guys had such an amazing day!
Very nice sound from the band. Beautiful view of the water and mountain.
Chell, so young and already a music lover. ^^
Cory, you guys should make, the trip down to Valdez. It is a great town tons of great fishing, hiking, and Barry picking

Chell's hair is such a gorgeous color !!
Chell is so alert and adorable!
daw! chell was just so moved by your voice. she loves her daddy.
Ok, I have to applaud you for being able to pet a bee... That's awesome. I'm allergic, so I'm terrified, and I wish I was that bold!
And now I want tacos. Those tacos looked amazing.
Yeah, Cory, Kristen's impression of you yesterday was pretty spot on.
You gave her the feels, Daddy...precious!!
awwww... where's the goodbye! now I can't sleep
The sweetest family ever :) Thanks for sharing pieces of your lives with us. Love and kisses from some place in Argentina!
you are the cutest person ever for petting a bee. that i never saw😁👍
I wish I could have a baby. 8 years; lots of gynae surgeries; I could cuddle a little baby so much. Chell is perfect xx
YOUR ADVENTURES YOU HAVE IN ALASKA MAKE ME WANT TO MOVE THERE
Her little kitty shirt is so cute!
I really really liked this vlog. I can't think or anything that makes it unlike all the others, I just liked this one a lot.

those tacos look WONDERFUL!!! truly!!!
Chell is sooooo adorable :D

wow, i want to pet a bumble bee! that was really awesome!

It's 3:30 am and i just had to watch your vlog, because i can't sleep without watching your vlogs 😀❤❤ Baby Chell is the cutest little girl ❤❤❤
She was not bad crying, she was moved by joy & love.

It still could have been digestive discomfort by timing happenstance, especially considering her unusual stinky bowel movements and pained fussiness.
Stick with educating people about GMO's. Babies obviously aren't your forte.
+CA Catr If em radiation is so bad, why are you using a computer? You should be living in a radio quiet zone with no lights or windows. If you vould get underground, even better. EM radiation woooooooo
It's ABOUT flam TIME
If you sought education on the subject, you would realize there are mitigating devices. Electromagnetic frequencies go right through the earth, and then there's geopathic stress zones. To not be negatively impacted by unmitigated frequencies and its resultant radiation, one would have to be a thousand miles from all tech and civilization, not that mankind is all that civilized these days.
Wooooooo yourself.
woaaaah! Cory that time lapse driving footage was surreal with those clouds moving the way they were!
love this! chel you grow up so beautiful! awe so amazing! 😍😘
I laughed so hard, the the ending was brilliant! Thanks Kristen! :D
What a pretty town! I really need to visit Alaska someday.. it's so beautiful!
Thank you so much for mentioning that song! I had completely forgotten about it one of my favorite songs for sure :)
I love your videos I feel like you guys have the perfect family, always happy. Makes me happy lol.
What happen??? Are you guys okay???? If you don't say Goodbye! the episode doesn't end... Now my life is thrown into a tailspin and We're all gunna die!!! Thanks Cory! (And by extension Kristen)
^^THIS.
lol!!!!
ikr there's a glitch in the matrix!!
Atleast Cory didn't die in crazy ways like he did in his early vlogs in Alaska.
me to its just not right if the vlog doesn't end with goodbye!
Oh I remember that first time when we unintentionally made the kids cry. First time with my DD... it broke my heart. First time it happened with my son... I thought it was adorable and tried doing it again :P lol
Anywho... you gotta do your normal exit 'Goodbye'!!!! DO EEET!
Nice + Nice = Nice 💖 Wish the whole World would catch on to this!! 💖
It sure does sweet Kristen. 💗
I love Talkeetna! One of the best places I went when I visited Alaska.
Hehe it is so funny how desperate you are to keep Chell sleeping lol :D Another great vlog :)
Lol love the end. 😻
LOVE the end hahaha she got you spot on!
I go out once a week now to thin out the berries by taking the ones red all around and not white on the underside.
Love the clip with the water rippling in. Such a great sound! Always your your vlogs, thanks for sharing once again.
What a perfect day! Those tacos looked amazing!!!
How is Chell? She had that broken bone when she was born, so I was wondering how she's doing...
+Kristen _ Oh good, glad to hear that
Kristen you have a youtube channel!?!? WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?!?!?!?!
Awww Chell is sleeping to Coldplay's music
I would love to see a video of Cory singing to Chell! Share the moment with us please!!!!
I was wondering if you set up the ending to be exactly like Kristen's on purpose! ;) Keep doing you, Cory, haha.
I wonder if she was crying because it was so beautiful. I love tacos, what was in those tacos? Wow two streets or road names that are same as two of your family members. that is pretty cool. Nicely done transferring Chell from the car seat!
Happy birthday Cory! 🎂
When Cory explained how he made Chell cry, I had to pause the video so I could laugh. It just was that sweet and funny!
Kristen, you where sooo spot on on your imitation of Cory!!
Now, I'm going for some real tacos, because while those look good, they are not the real deal, sorry.
