Thank you for recommending Les Cocottes! It was our best meal in Paris. We didn’t have a reservation but they gave us a seat at the counter. The cassoulet de jour was marvelous, the asparagus, the lobster bisque, the beef was so tender and dessert was divine. Service was amazing. Love your videos and can’t wait to try others.
My Maman called me ma cocotte, she died last Sunday in Paris. As always a great video. Crème caramel is also my childhood.
Sorry you lost your mom
So sorry for your loss Jenny. ❤
Please accept my condolences. May her soul rest in peace. Amen
So sorry for your loss
I’m sorry for your lost 😞
You'll soon be at 100,000 subscribers; well-deserved I'd say. Another great video, by the way.
Ah Les Frenchies! We dined at Les Cocottes last time we were in Paris. We still recall the sheer perfection of the meal. I had the beef that Antoine had and my husband tried cassoulet for the first time. He still gets starry eyed when discussing that meal! It was worth every cent!!!
Je vous remercie de partager des adresses comme celles ci pour de futurs visiteurs
Ça leurs évitera de se faire avoir par des pièges à touristes Vous faîtes honneur à notre gastronomie
We are traveling to Paris for the first time next month! I am so happy to have found your channel, it has been immensely helpful. Merci!
Two of my favorite people, doing two of my favorite things, being in Paris and eating fabulous food. Thank you.
Cafe du Commerce is the joint baby!
Hello you two. We’re in Paris now staying near the Eiffel Tower and we have tried two of the restaurants you suggested. We had lunch Aux Cerises yesterday and today’s lunch was at Le Cafe du Commerce. Both places had kind and hospitable service and good food. We particularly enjoyed Le Cafe du Commerce and have rebooked lunch there again before we leave Paris. Thank you for your ideas.
I enjoy your videos especially when they are about food.
We are finally going to Europe for the first time ever this Summer. Planning a week in France and am very much enjoying my time living vicariously through your videos! My mouth waters watching you enjoy all that amazing looking food. We are certainly going to visit some of your recommended eateries and appreciate your insight since there are a plethora of places to choose from. Thank you for recommending places that the locals like! Merci!
That all looked amazing, thank you, have a lovely weekend.
Less than twenty Euros for a meal of steak et frites, a drink and a rather delicious-looking profiterole dessert. Now that is great value for your money, especially so close to the Eiffel Tower. Thank you for the upload.
We had a fantastic meal at Les Cocottes on June 6th. You must be having a big impact on them because we were among the first to arrive for dinner (and were seated near the door and the area that they greet you) and by time we left of the 34 diners, 31 were Americans who, based on the comments of at least a few groups were there because of this video!
That’s just it!!! You come across as a wonderful genuine couple, willing to share their experience, and with a true love of Paris but at the same time recognising that such a beautiful city also has its pitfalls but remains majestic nevertheless!!!!
I love your videos! Keep the good work up!!!
Oh yay! I just flew into Paris today. Thanks for all the restaurant ideas!
Ohh, watching your videos makes me want to visit Paris again! I've been there 5 times and feel I haven't even begun to explore the city. Thank you for sharing so much great information.
Hello from Brazil! You guys are awesome! Love your videos
Hey, thanks!
This is one of my fav channels. Pitched precisely to fit my requirements. On the upmarket side, but not exorbitant recommendations but IMHO, value. Americans know their dessert and of course, French for the refinement. Perfect!
I want to say thank you for providing these wonderful videos! I was able to use these to pre-plan vegan restaurants and travel options around Paris and Bordeaux from CDG. I bought your travel guide as a show of support. It is an excellent resource for Paris travel planning! I had a wonderful time this past week! Merci beaucoup!
Another great video involved our favorite thing FOOD!!😋🤤
I'm about to watch, but Les Cocottes is a favorite place for me. My late husband and I started going there (maybe 2011 because 2013 was his last trip). I now go solo, sitting at the counter, is very comfortable for me. The food is great! I've seen Chef Christian Constant in there on several visits. Fontaine de Mars is where I usually take friends.
Constant no longer owns the place.
@@jeanlebon4653 I didn't know! Thanks
@@ffcwatercolors5552 Constant is still a CAFE CONSTANT down the street
Your videos are even more brillant and lively viewed on a large screen instead of the smartphone. Again thank you very much for the price tags. The Cafe du Commerce seems to be quite price nice. For that money, I got an omelette and a drink at lunch time in a simple bistro in a small eastern French town last summer.
These folks are worth 100K subscribers!! So close…. Please subscribe! Let’s show them some love. After all, They put so much thought and heart in to each video. (Yes, Les Frenchies….we ❤️ you!) Great video….will definitely go to these next year after we retire.
I like how he always opens his eyes as the food enters his mouth ❤️
The French do amazing delicious things with mustard.
I love your channel! It’s like a more intimate version of the traveling and dining in Europe shows I watched on PBS growing up
Love your vlogs....great job. I am in the Travel Industry and have recommended your channel to my friends and colleagues.
Omg yum 😋 Will definitely be visiting those places next time I’m in Paris. You guys are so awesome. Thanks for your videos 😊
Merci, merci -- you never disappoint 😋🥂🍽🍷☕️🧁
Mouth-watering! I’ll be putting all of these on my list for my next trip. Merci!
Your videos always leave me hungry! 😆 Thank you so much for all of the extra details you put into them! I'm planning my first trip to Paris and they have been invaluable.
Hi! I wanted to thank you for this video. My wife and I were visiting Paris last week, and we were near the tower, and I remembered this and went to Les Cocottes for lunch; it was soooo good that we went a 2nd time for dinner. I enjoy watching your videos a lot! Thank you Les Frechies.
I enjoy all of your episodes, but especially those where you share your dining experiences! Magnifique!
OMG looks fabulous! Thanks for sharing
Thank you !! Looks delish
You're an inspiration! Thank you!
Thanks guys that was awesome!
Those all look so good. Thanks!

Another great video! Thank you!
Another great video that left me feeling hungry, for the food AND for Paris. Thank you both for your clear and easy to understand recommendations 🤗😘
You two are adorable! Thank you
Would love to visit Paris again with more time and money this time and good company.
Did you get a new camera? It's like I'm right next to you in Paris! Also, all your restaurant picks and food look fabulous.
Antoine is extra cute in this one.. absolutely *loving* his food! 😊
I just wanted to thank you guys for all of the wonderful informative videos. I’m planning to head to Paris for the first time next year and you have certainly prepared me with all the valued info, very much appreciated 😊
Food looks great.
Love this video so much! I love to see the beautiful food in these cozy restaurants! Wish we had more places like this in America.😋❤️
Thank you! I used several of your videos to plan a too-short visit to Paris for my mother, sister, and myself. Aux Cerise gave us a lovely and easy to access lunch spot after our noon visit to the tower. It did not disappoint!
You guys are awesome! Just added Aux Cerises to my list of restaurants to try when I'm in Paris this April. Merci beaucoup!!!
We just came back from Paris a couple of days ago. We watched most of your videos to plan the trip. The recommendations were so helpful. We had lunch at le café du commerce and it was delightful! Highly recommended! Thank you
Thank you very much for the professional, informative videos. And you are very charismatic people! This content deserves millions of views.
Me and my family always watch your videos! We are going to Paris in a month and we want to thank you for all these tips and recommendations, as they really do help. ❤️
My dream destination. I love your content. Beautiful food. The light, the culture, the taste. Lovely❤
Cafe L'Alma is my favorite near the tower.
I love your restaurant videos
❤ah love your tips! We are definitely planning to visit Paris some time. The desserts look amazing ❤
When I watch your videos, I'm there again... Thank you.
This is what i was waiting for 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks for posting, very useful! Looks like Les Cocottes is yet another one to add to my list......
Just bookmarked all of them, thanks~~~
I’m so excited! I already have a reservation at Les Cocottes for my trip in April 🙌🏼 Imagine my surprise when I see it reviewed here (and yay for such a positive review)!!
Thanks for all you do, coming to Paris for the first time in March. We booked Les Cocottes for one of dinners based on your recommendation. Thanks
Très jolie et très superbe vidéo culturelle sur les restaurants de Paris
Wonderful. Thank you so much. I wish that I was there with you.
We’ll be in Paris the first week in May, so I am enjoying seeing the videos for tips.
The last time I watched this channel, I remember they only have around 30k subscribers, but now they are around 140k+, so good for them
Hey guys I will be traveling solo in Paris in may and then again in august! Ty so much for your videos it has helped me a lot!! Specially bc I am a foodie!
Great tips! I’ll have to check them out when I’m back in Paris (in 98 days!)
Wow the crock pots stews I would love over Puerto Rican white rice 💋
Thank you for the wonderful recommendations-will surely try at least one while visiting this year. During my last visit, I went to a bistro called POPU that was fabulous and within walking distance. I had a great pizza (still thinking about the espellette oil), salad, and an apple tart for dessert. Inexpensive for how good it was!
I wish you do more of the local places like that...
Those guys really know how to cook properly
On our Girls’ Trip to Paris, we visited Aux Cerises for lunch. We loved this restaurant. It was exactly what we were looking for in French cooking. Thank you so much for the suggestion.
Even if I’m not visiting the Eiffel Tower, im definitely going to try one of those restaurants the next time I’m in Paris ! Yum!
Very nice 😊
Great list of places to keep in mind. BTW, my nesting charcuterie boards just arrived. I have a Brillat-Savarin waiting to adorn my board. Thanks.
Soooo yummy....Les cocotttes is one of my favorite in Paris!!!!!!!! Yéééééééééééééééééééé
Keep it up you 2❤
I like that you list the places and what you ate there. 1👌
Thanks for the info - next time I go to Paris I will definitely give these restaurants a try - also really appreciate you including the price info - Just curious if you two had heard of a book called A Waiter in Paris by Edward Chisholm - tells the story of the darker side of Paris restaurants - very eye opening
You guys kill me with envy! I am coming back in mid september and hope to see you then. As I missed you in november/december 2022. My treat in september 23.
Always the best 💙🍽💙🍷💙
We sat at the high table next to the window on the left side as you come in through the entrance when we were in Paris in the summer of 2019. The food was good but I remember that they had unusual stuff on the menu at the time.
In the old days (30 years ago), the Café du Commerce was advertised along with Chartier as similar alternatives in different neighborhoods.
I’m very happy to see you are back in paris snd that Coleen seems better with her back. Another exciting video snd the price seem reasonable. I too had a light lunch in at le trente huite, 38 avenue de Suffren a block away from the bus line 69 terminus very close to the Eiffel Tower.
Please be well and I know you’re looking forward to the spring weather. Josef.
@@LesFrenchiesTravel wanted to let you know I received my charcuterie boards and love them. I’m featuring them this Friday evening while entertaining a few friends during movie night at my home. They love charcuterie, raclette and the other French fare I make for them. Bonne journeé. Josef from Cape May.
Ya, ..i..'ve bin on le Tower Eiffel..

And down le Champs Elysee..

And been in le palace Versailles..INCLUDEing le garden extraordinaire..

Yummy 😋
Great video, I am saving this one for my future planning! All those dishes looked really good, but lots of food - almost American sized. 😂 My only concern (after watching most of your food videos) is that I don’t eat veal or organ type meats… But I am sure I will always be able to find something. Also, I’d love to see a video on good non-French restaurants. My husband is Iranian so we will definitely be looking for a Persian restaurant when we go. I have one already on my list - Shabestan.
Honestly i like you guys and your vibe i dk why for some reason it work my heart a bit seeing your vid maybe i am in a wierd mood 😂😂
Very nice greetings from Israel thank you
Very very nice
I hope u do london travels too
Love
Love your videos and how well you present the food. Are these restaurants kid friendly? And do French restaurants allow you to order a meal and share?
