J'adore that Colleen is speaking French so well now. Mon Papa used to take me to Chez Bartolo a St Germain to eat Scampi. I'll visit my father next month in Paris and even though I am more or less familiar with Paris, your guide is really updated with restaurants and lots of brilliant info, that's really going to be my friend. Thank you for always bringing us up to speed with all things good in Gai Paris.
Just returned from my seven day trip to Paris. Had the best time ever, the food was amazing, the people were kind, friendly and very welcoming and we loved all that Paris had to offer. We tried a coupe places you featured in your previous videos and can't thank you both enough. Enjoy watching the two of you! Merci beaucoup!
So wonderful to see Colleen speak French! I am excited as I will be in Paris in June and my hotel is right around the corner from Vesuvio and Chez Bartalo!!! Love you content and thank you!
Great as usual. When I saw Place des Vosges ( 7:30 ) I thought " we " were eating pizza there...lol. Would love to see you guys do something on Place des Vosges.....it's my favorite square in Paris......
I'm a traditionalist. I always order the Pizza Reine. I've tried pizza all over France and have never had a bad one, but some of the best is on the Cote d'Azur. As for Paris, my favorite is without a doubt, Bronx Pizzeria at 275 Bd Pereire. It's nice to see Colleen speaking French. I'm working hard to be able to communicate in French. It's a long and arduous road.
I had best pizza not only in Paris but in my life on a little hidden square near Palais Garnier. There was a sculpture in the middle and we were sitting outside as it was May. It was just the best best, run by italian people. Cant find it now, but will post when I will.
Just got back from our Paris trip. We arrived in Paris Sunday late afternoon on Apr 2. Enjoyed the city so much. We visited too many sites and capped our Paris Trip with the Seine River Cruise Bateaux Mouches. We enjoyed our trip so much so huge thanks to you guys for the tips and tricks while in Paris 🥰 more power to your YT channel. 😊
*Colleen's French sounds like it has improved greatly* !! *ALL of the pizza restaurants look fabulous* !! *My favorite is the pizza with truffles* !! *Had fresh, local black truffle on many things when I was in France a few years ago* !! *Always fantastic content on this channel* !! #LesFrenchies
We are in Paris and thanks to you both, we have been to Vesuvio twice and it’s been so delicious! The truffle pizza was amazing, and so was the lasagna. Today we went to Bouillon Chartier at Gare l’est. OMG! We stayed for hours and our waiter Stephan was so fun! We had lunch with wine and dessert and thought about staying and ordering dinner. Lol. Joni and Steve Johnson, Oregon.
Wow Colleen, your French is fab, great that you’re now ordering for both of you, I imagine it’s the best way to really learn a language. Pizzas can be very variable can’t they, but all yours look delicious! As long as I have anchovies and olives on mine, maybe with some ham, I’m happy - especially if there’s some chilli there as well! I’d really love to taste the truffle one though. It was expensive but truffle doesn’t come cheap, and you don’t need a lot for it to taste amazing! Great vlog. 💕🍕🍕🍕🍕
outstanding videos, we had watched and learn so much about France overall from both of you "Les Frenchies" even though we had been in France 2 times already. We were in Austria, we had learned at the museums in the old days, the queen had served French foods to her guests instead of Austrian foods. French foods can't go wrong. We had subscribed your digital. After watching your videos, we are confident WHERE to go in France year 2024.
Great video! Not only does France have great French food, but they also have the best of nearly every national and fusion cuisine, as well. I enjoyed some of the best pasta I have ever experienced while in Paris! I am almost fearful of going to Italy and finding that I don’t like their pasta as well. Good job differentiating between people who are Italian and those who are Sicilian. I’ve heard several discourses on that topic over my life. It truly matters to Sicilians that one doesn’t call them Italian!
Bonjour Antoine and Colleen Great new video showing another dimension of Paris never previously reviewed Have you considered putting your signature “Allez, On y va “ on Your merchandise? Just a thought Have a great weekend 😊
Hi les frenchies. Another excellent video. Congrats to Coleen for using her French skills. She gives confidence to many others who might want to try but are still uncomfortable. Pizza in Paris is excellent especially with a draft French beer. I always drink Roses in the US but only French. They are available in most decent wine stores. A good choice with pizza. There is zero coverage of the manifestations on US news not even CNN. Even france 24 generally isn’t. Only UA-camrs seem to cover it now. My friends who live in Paris haven’t been affected except by the trash. I’m still coming for a month in September and will be staying in the Marais this trip rather than the Latin Quarter. Please stay well and enjoy the season as your weather improves. April in Paris is indeed beautiful. Bientot….Josef.

Hi guys, great video. The food looked amazing. Thanks for sharing. I have to say that the restaurant prices have gone up considerably since the last time I was there, 4 yrs ago. The one meal you had was $60 Canadian. A lot for us. 2.5 weeks to go and I will be there. As always have a good one eh!😁🇨🇦
As a Neapolitan pizza lovers we visited Constantia Martyrs at Montmarte about year ago with my wife. Bonjour, Antoine et Colleen! I have to make another recommendation, and it is the Bella Sera trattoria in Rue Montorgueil, next to L'Escargots. We went there yesterday (our original plan was to go to L'Escargots, but we couldn't make it without a reservation), so we tried Bella Sera instead. It was DELICIOUS! We had the Pizza al Tartufo and the Tagliatelle al Salmone, and they have happy hours everyday for beers and Aperol Spritz.
You guys do a great job. Question for you. I notice the tables for two in the restaurants that you visit are very close together with a booth on one side and a chair on the other. How does the person in the booth leave the table without disturbing the adjacent table? It doesn’t look like someone could fit between the tables. Thank you if you answer this! Your videos are very helpful as we plan our trip to Paris.
Great video. I can also recommend Il Tronchetto on the Rue de Lourmel (15th, Metro: Dupliex). Great thin crust pizza, not expensive, great and freindly staff and seating inside and out. Well worth a trip.

I prefer rosés with more minerality (for me I'd described it as drinking cold steel) but where I live the wine making style leans towards being more acidic (that's what the young'uns like and they are the targeted market now).
You can put truffles on many things . Those where black truffles which are good , but in my opinion white truffles are even better ; and usually more expensive . Tuna pizza is a classic just like tuna spaghetti , both delicious and loved by Italians . That Pizza tartufo did look amazing , and if I ever make to Paris again, I m ordering one!
wow Amore Mio looks yummy as does le formule at Chez Bartolo. Thanks, Colleen and Antoine. I had a delicious pizza at Pizzeria Iovine's, a small spot on Rue de Bretagne near Square du Temple Elie Wiesel near to my airbnb on a day i felt like staying close to home.
I must say that we often eat pizza with cutlery, especially in a restaurant. If we buy a piece in the street it’s different, of course. I’m glad you enjoyed Italian food. 😉

@@LesFrenchiesTravel Hi again from Canada. We have now returned home from our recent France river cruise trip (Bordeaux area and then the Paris/Normandy area) and I just wanted to let you know ... When we were in Paris, we tackled the metro and easily (thanks to your help) made it from the Parc Andre-Citroen area over to Chez Bartolo for a late lunch one day. We sat on their covered patio area, had a couple of cocktails and we too had a pizza and a pasta dish. Very tasty! And when we ordered, our kind young waitress generously helped us with the menu and she/the chef were quite accommodating to prepare my pasta dish without any meat (my preference). It was fantastic! Thank you for suggesting this place!
