- FaZe Rain is a legend in the call of duty live commentary days, consistently uploading gaming videos and vlogs daily across his channels. From posting videos in his moms basement to becoming an owner of the worlds first publicly traded gaming organisation.
After 10+ years of uploading @TrickShotting rain would take several breaks from UA-cam and eventually his life would take a downward spiral into depression where he battled a life changing addiction.

He really doesn’t have many kid fans at all. We’re all close in age to rain. That’s why we related to him, and still do. He’s a normal person like all of us.
Correct, but at the time of his prime id say his fan base was 13-18 year olds. Thing is many people don’t realize those fans grew up.
@@DREDR-jn8nw I was watching faze clan when I was 11-12 I’m now 22. I’ve been a fan just as long as they’ve been a thing. Rain apex and adapt/jev have always been my favorites, fakie and mancat in the old old days, but my point is probably 80% of rains true to this day fans are 18+

@@blxcklxffy ehhhh. I feel like most of the younger faze fans are primarily fans of the valorant faze members and other "newer" ones. The young people are generallyh the ones hating on him on twitter lol. Obviously there will be exceptions to the rule, but I really find it hard to imagine that people in the age range of like, 12-16 really give a shit about any of the "og" faze members. A lot of their hay days ended back when todays 16 year olds were like, 13. at that point a lot of the og's were becoming a lot more open with their drug use and veered towards more mature content, why? because their fanbases grew up. I cant imagine most 13 year olds were following the downfall of these members. Whether you like it or not, the last 2 ish years of the og's living together, and posting regularly were definitely a downfall, and a lot of people were still watching out of love for the members and nostalgia.

When you think about it, FaZe really started the trend of Orgs getting a content house and making mass money.. Orgs like 100T, NRG, OTK, etc followed in FaZe's footsteps... Nordan has always been my favorite FaZe member and I was so sad when he almost died.. I am so happy hes doing much better now

Great video. FaZe Rain was one of my favourite youtubers in my late childhood/early teenage years. I started watching him from 2014 and i loved going into BO2 FFA games and trying to hit trickshots just like him. I also loved his messages like "keep it real" and shit like that, it really motivated me especially as a teenager at the time that looked up to him a lot. He inspired me to want to join FaZe off call of duty one day and become a content creator and although that never happened, i rarely play COD these days and FaZe isn't about trickshotting and sniper clips anymore, i still use his inspiration in other things im working on in life and it helps me get through things.
It really made me feel devastated to see what happened to him in 2020 with the drug situation and stuff but im really happy he's doing better now and he's started a business doing something he loves again. I will always have respect for Rain and he is easily in my Top 5 youtubers of all time

This man was a huge part of my teenhood and the reason I even started UA-cam. Just celebrated my 70k milestone and owe a big thanks to Rain. I am heartbroken for him and hope for all the best for his future and the future of FaZe. Very well done video. Keep it real brother!

When the members moved out of the new york faze house to the west coast i stopped watching and their downfall began...and all this drama and life issues and mental health came to light

What people are failing to realize is that rain is actually trying to tell you guys something is wrong at the faze house. On a business side their is a major problem and a big disagreement. Faze rain is genuine meanwhile the rest of faze doesn’t want their cash flow to stop so their not gonna speak on certain things like rain. Faze rain leaving faze is the best decision for him. Faze as a whole has went into a downward spiral and I bet you money faze rain isn’t and wasn’t the only drug addict member so stop singling out faze rain like he’s just this disappointment and it’s just over for him because it’s not. Also stop being so naive and really use your brain and understand what’s going on. Faze is being controlled by a bigger cooperation behind the scenes that you fans don’t know about.

I feel like he might have had a stroke or something, and maybe not realized it. Idk, but Neuropathy, loss of motor functions, paralysis etc. are common after effects of stroke. Despite all the people that do drugs, I’ve Never heard of or seen chemical neuropathy before. Shit, Keith Richards Is still walking around somewhere, Lil Wayne lives on the same diet that Rain was on but likely to this day, so on n so forth.

Wake up to reality. Depression is not a real thing. You only put your self down if you believe depression exists. That’s why doctors or somebody will tell you, you have depression and will not “recover” soon. But in reality ur sadness that they see as “depression” will fade because being sad does fade away. If you don’t believe in it your sadness will fade away soon. Pills and tablets will not help or change you. It’s up to you to help yourself. Only you know what’s best for you.
