Blasters are energy weapons rather than the archaic and banned "slugthrowers", so stuff like the telescoping barrel on the sniper rifle likely uses a series of lenses to focus the shot.
So here's for the correction : the lizard people (like the bounty hunter Bossk in TESB) use a pump action shotgun loaded with slugs. It's used in game by both droids and clones i think. It was introduced in "Republic Commando".

Cycler Rifle is actually one of the very few Slug Throwers in starwars Canon, there are a couple different ones. I can't exactly remember, but they are favored by assassination because blocking a big hunk of metal with a Light Saber, is not entirely a good idea.
In the days of the Republic, bounty hunters would use Cycler Rifles specifically against Jedi because they got a chuckle out of Watching the projectile shatter into hundreds of pieces and maim a jedi who arrogantly deflects it, as they were often blinded by the shrapnel before a follow up shot removed their head.

I Read in a Star Wars reference book that Han Solo's blaster pistol
Was part of a rifle that was separated and modified to work as a blaster pistol.
In Battlefront 1 the shock blaster one hit, right? I know it just stuns people in Battlefront 2, but does anyone remember it being a one hit?
Yep it was a extremely close range one shot weapon that overheated after every shot in the first game, so if you missed you'd just die 😂 much cooler imo
Thanks man. I just used that gun for the memes in Battlefront 1.
Blasters are energy weapons rather than the archaic and banned "slugthrowers", so stuff like the telescoping barrel on the sniper rifle likely uses a series of lenses to focus the shot.
I've said it many times but I'll say it again. You should look at Battlefield 3 and 4. There are a number of interesting, strange and unique weapons.
Johnathan, single handidly keeping this channel afloat on youtube
Yeah star wars has other projectile weapons and they're called scatterguns and slug throwers rather than blasters
So here's for the correction : the lizard people (like the bounty hunter Bossk in TESB) use a pump action shotgun loaded with slugs. It's used in game by both droids and clones i think. It was introduced in "Republic Commando".
It makes sense that Han would use tactics taught for shooting high caliber pistols since the DL-44 is a heavy blaster pistol. It packs a punch.
I love that Starwars has more accurate real world weapon representation than call of duty vanguard lol
If y'all are dipping into sci-fi, y'all gotta do an episode where Jonathan reacts to Halo weaponry
Fun fact!
Regular firearms are often used against jedi, because when then try to block it with their lightsabers the only thing that happens is they get hit in the face with a ton of molten metal.
Don’t ever stop doing these
been watching these videos alot he knows his game making expert at guns
Shoot a hole through their hand? They'd still miss that close up
That was a rebel using the gun wdym
The cap on the T-21 stock, obviosly is where you fill up your laser fluid
you should do a video to review battlefield 4 guns please
i love how if you think about it for a while, all guns from star wars were based from guns from ww2
Well, seeing how star wars premiered in 1977, what else would they be based on?
Well they might have been based on something like..... imagination but seeing that it is star wars.. Imagination is in short supply.
God I love the Lewis gun so much! It just looks so damn cool and interesting! That the c96, and the sterling guns have always been some of my favorites in star wars! Great stuff!
Cycler Rifle is actually one of the very few Slug Throwers in starwars Canon, there are a couple different ones. I can't exactly remember, but they are favored by assassination because blocking a big hunk of metal with a Light Saber, is not entirely a good idea.
The Republic Commando game had one as well; it was a pump action shotgun. IIRC it was used in Battlefront 2 as well.
The Mandalorians used slug-throwers in the Mando-Jedi wars, I think
In the days of the Republic, bounty hunters would use Cycler Rifles specifically against Jedi because they got a chuckle out of Watching the projectile shatter into hundreds of pieces and maim a jedi who arrogantly deflects it, as they were often blinded by the shrapnel before a follow up shot removed their head.
I've never wanted to sit in a pub and geek out with a bloke as much as I want to with this fella
It's great to see some of the sci fi weapons at Leeds. They have an M41-A pulse rifle from Aliens which looks amazing.
This dude is making me wanna travel all the way to the UK to visit their museum...but... This damn luckdown
I really love how one of the background blasters in star wars was built off a dalek gun
One of the rising storms or red orchestras would be sick
2:12 one of my favorite guns in battlefront 1
A280 is a Sturmgewehr 44 (STG 44) with a very short magazine and a sniper-like optic mashed onto it.
Fantastic video once again Jonathan! This has definitely been my favorite. Looking forward to seeing more of you!
Just wanna watch him react to the kraut space magic smgs of halo 2 and 3.
I felt so confused when he had Lewis gun for this Video on Star Wars Weapon Video in its thumbnail.
what, did you want him to come up with a real t21?
@@samuelsocha8384 I'm not a Star Wars fan so that's why I felt confused.
I went to the Royal Armoury in Leeds. It was such an amazing experience. Will definitely go back
now im intrigued to see his reaction to halo armouries, either its from covenant or unsc lul
I love knowledgeable he is of both star wars and his real firearms
