I don’t understand. Everyone says, “ Cover the cut branch with plastic.” I don’t. I get plenty of Bougainvillea growth in days. 🍃 leaf growth is appropriately on fifth day. First leaf, then the roots. I don’t know why 🍁 leaf growth appears first, but it does. My biggest branch has tremendous amounts of roots. Each Bougainvillea is different and I’m learning that as well.

@@abcde1646 I have been also propagating bougainvilleas just by placing the cuttings (green and hard stems) in soil, without plastic nor root hormones. I live in zone 10 and just keep them outside, water them often until I see they are growing leaves, then water only when the soil is a little dry.
Why don't you just remove the rubber band to slowly introduce the plant to the outside world, by doing that you can reuse the plastic and you're saving our home ( earth)...

Sinunod nyo po ba lahat ng instructions? Observe how moist your medium po, iba ibang variety po merong matagal din magroots. Basta hindi malagas dahon ok po sya magtutuloy yan

I tried this technique but I am having fuzzy mold/fungus on the cuttings, do you have any advice on how to avoid this?

Open it for air 10 minutes. I had the same issue.
Your cutting is wet before u propogate. Better to cut when the weather os full sun and avoid to get water into the cutting

For a hardwood Bougainvillea cutting will the same process be followed ? And what would be the duration for the ICU stage?
No icu method for hard stem bougainvillea, they prefer open method placed on shaded area. Best season for hard stem is rainy season

That ANAA solution is too concentrated. Accdg to the instructions on the container, use only 1 tbsp per Liter of water otherwise the plant will die.
Also there were no new leaves that were developed after your icu.
Instead of ICU I'd rather call it GHE GREENHOUSE EFFECT....
