I saw Mr Nimoy play Fiddler on the Roof in 1971 at the Cape Cod Melody Tent in Hyannis, Mass. with my family, I was about 10 years old and already a huge fan- SOOO I actually walked up to his wardrobe/make up tent during the intermission and asked him to sign my Playbook. Seeing some ballsy little kid made him smile and he gladly signed and shooed me away.He was awesome as Tevia! super strong voice and incredible stage presence. I will never forget it.
What a class act. He never fails to impress with his wit, intelligence, and humor. Love Leonard Nimoy, and what a well informed interviewer, that is so damned refreshing!
Jimi Hendrix said: ''When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace.'' and no one represents that better than Leonard Nimoy, ambassador of peace.
An excellent interview. Geoff Boucher did a wonderful job, asking questions that helped reveal aspects Of Leonard Nimoy's life that i found fascinating. We all miss Leonard terribly. Interviews like this help keep his memory alive.
I took a class on public speaking taught by Leonard Nimoy in 1996 at Cal Arts. He was one of the best teachers anyone could ever have! He talked about showing confidence and what he used when speaking as Spock.
Oh, the amounts of fanmails I have sent :( If only I could just a short response from Mr Nimoy would make my life... He is and will always be my idol. What a fantastic person!
Thank you Geoff Boucher for these amazing interviews Hero Complex has the most interesting guests! Mr Nimoy was just awesome in the latest ep of Fringe.
I loved his poetry and records when I was a teen in the 70's. I played them over and over on hot summer and cold winter days! I also loved Star Trek! I got to meet him once in Syracuse NY in 1978. He signed my two books of his " You and I" and "Will I think of You"...two very impressionable books for me, as a young teen! The words in these books helped shape and set a standard in my life for finding beautiful romance! I also was inspired to take up black and white photography on account of Mr Leonard Nimoy! Sensitive, talented, mysterious, just loved him!!
Geoff does a great job reflecting on the awesome bodies of works of these artists, and their characters, without getting overwhelmed by them (too much). So that the interview brings out some of what goes on inside the heads of these masters.
I love this man. I love the way he talks, his voice and his strange appearance and his eyes and his slender frame..every little thing.. Damn, the new star trek sucks bigtime..
I agree with Mr. Daniel Micheels. It was an interesting interview of a 'Fascinating' performer. I could listen to Leonard Nimoy all day (same for George Takei and the late Mark Leonard).
I find it amusing that Mr. Boucher first introduces the beloved actor as (written phonetically here) Leonard NEEmoy, accenting the NEE... but in part two he switches to Leonard NEHmoy, changing to the NEH sound and the faster beat on that syllable (almost as if it were N'moy).
R.I.P Leonard Nimoy great interview I can not believe he met Brother Jimi Hendrix that was a big surprise but in a good way I've always loved Mr Nimoy and the Star Trek crew & the series the Original the cartoon series and the Star Trek films as well. Yes the new Star Trek films are just as good as the originals films no complaints looking forward for the next new Star Trek film it's too bad they won't even let William Shatner appear in any of the new films so unfortunate
Nimoy was one of the defining actors and personalities in star trek. He and Nichelle Nichols had an impact on peoples lives and stood up for some of the key elements that made star trek what it was and kept it from being yet another action oriented and violent space spectacle lacking any true character and soul. They are sorely missed.
Star Trek 4 is the first ST movie I saw (watched TOS many times) and it's still my favorite. In fact, the first record I ever bought was it's soundtrack album.
Love Leonard's work and great interview. Imagine if he played Spock's struggle the other way as an emotional human trying to be vulcan, crying with a stone face, randomly lashing out and vgripping the nearest crew red shirt, etc.
Superb stuff. Too much of TV interviews with Nimoy and his ilk are just sound bites used as an excuse for a clip show, whereas this is much more interesting and meaningful.
Leonard Nimoy is a far more creative talent than Shatner ever was! After Bill began doing those music covers and boasting about how much he brought to Star Trek ( admittedly, he was great as Captain James Tiberius Kirk and many other roles), I kind of lost a bit of respect for who he was in life. Nimoy, however, has always been a favorite; his 'Alien Voice' audio recordings are incredible classics by themselves!
Preach the TRUTH!! I feel that way about Hip-Hop and the CRAP that is being made in its name. Drake? Lil Wayne? Nicki Minaj? Rick Ross? PLEASE! This kids BITE of people like Rakim and Big Daddy Kane. They think their outfits are better than Afrika Bambaataa and the Soulsonic Force?!! You are so right and thank you for your comment.

This was an excellent interview, but you REALLY should have asked him about FRINGE! His character on Fringe is made of awesome and you really did Nimoy a disservice by neglecting his current projects.

How wonderful to hear his voice and his insights so long after he has been gone. I still miss him. Excellent interview!!!
Thank you, Mr Nimoy - we all enjoyed your work.
Jimi Hendrix said: ''When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace.'' and no one represents that better than Leonard Nimoy, ambassador of peace.
Leonard it's your time now to 'Boldly Go', you gave us so many great memories.
RIP

indeed!!!!
I took a class on public speaking taught by Leonard Nimoy in 1996 at Cal Arts. He was one of the best teachers anyone could ever have! He talked about showing confidence and what he used when speaking as Spock.
Still choked up. My heart is broken, but I feel lucky to be able to enjoy his work Was looking forward to more.
Oh, the amounts of fanmails I have sent :( If only I could just a short response from Mr Nimoy would make my life... He is and will always be my idol. What a fantastic person!
Love this interview! Thank you Geoff. Really great.
I will miss you sir. Thank you. For everything you did.
I'm gonna say that this was a lot better than I expected. Very nice.
The interviewer did a great job.
RIP LEONARD my daughter told me Dec 2023 she was watching the original series start to end. TIMELESS
Thank you Geoff Boucher for these amazing interviews Hero Complex has the most interesting guests! Mr Nimoy was just awesome in the latest ep of Fringe.
R.I.P., always loved this interview.
I am so glad Leonard gave up the crew cut. I love him with this hair cut he looks adorable.
This is an outstanding show. The interviews have been top notch so far, and I can' wait to see the next part of this interview.
I loved his poetry and records when I was a teen in the 70's. I played them over and over on hot summer and cold winter days! I also loved Star Trek! I got to meet him once in Syracuse NY in 1978. R.I.P. you will be missed Leonard Nimoy *tears*
wonderful interview Mr Nimoy u will be missed R.I.P
It's illogical to to mourn so deeply for a life so long and well lived, but my illogical heart can't help it.
Emotions are not logical, but they _are_ human.
It's illogical to mourn deeply for someone you didn't know.
Well yes, but I think many of us feel like we know Nimoy from his public appearances and interviews.. at least more than a stranger anyway.
I'm happy he lived the life that he did. It helped me to be a better person. (which is quite disturbing on so may levels to more than a few people)
I Know, this human thing is a pain in the ass. When he died I cried like a baby. Had his portrait tattooed on my deltoid.
Such a great sense of humor.
Nice interview. Thanks.
Excellent Interview! Looking forward to part 2.
That is excellent interview. Thank you Hero Complex!
He is a unique soul. I will miss him forever.
lovely interview, thanks
Gone too soon...It is logical that we all will miss you, Sir. May the angels of the Lord guard you along your new task: to explore new frontiers.
I truly miss this man...LLAP wherever you are.
The mental image of Nimoy hanging out with Hendrix just blew my mind.
Great interview
Shocked, I didn't even know he was ill and feel guilty for it. Rest in peace, may we live long and prosper as you did.
I only heard today. So sad.
I would love to sit down with Mr. Nimoy and just talk, such as this interview.
Wow this is so interesting. thanks for the upload!
Still have all the Nimoy vinyl...great interview.
Wow hearing him talking about greek mythology brings tears to my eyes!
He lived long and he prospered.
But I feel very sad today.
RIP Leonard.
Fascinating interview
Great interview. I want more.
He looks SO much better/healthier than he did a couple of years ago. Great interview, too.
Scottie has beamed you up, Mr. Spock.....you will be missed, Rest in Paradise
Just discovered your show, great interview with an fantastic icon!!!!
Mr. Nimoy so good with the long hair- it makes him look so much younger!
We'll miss you Mr. Nimoy. :(
I love this man.
❤️😘 RIP Spock, your voice and persona will live on.. Love You and miss you.
Wow, these are damn good interviews.
Looking forward to part 2!!!
Geoff is a really good interviewer
How have I never known that Leonard Nimoy directed "3 Men and a Baby"?!
R.I.P. Mr. Nimoy. :-(
beautiful man.... LLAP!
I don't know if you cover his voice-over work but he has done some amazing voice over work like his work on Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep.
I'm only 2 episodes in but this interview series is fantastic.
Legend.
R.I.P Leonard Nimoy great interview I can not believe he met Brother Jimi Hendrix that was a big surprise but in a good way I've always loved Mr Nimoy and the Star Trek crew & the series the Original the cartoon series and the Star Trek films as well. Yes the new Star Trek films are just as good as the originals films no complaints looking forward for the next new Star Trek film it's too bad they won't even let William Shatner appear in any of the new films so unfortunate
all class mr spock.......a true legend! great interview!
I love this man,I am very sad, life is not fair, RIP Leonard you'll miss this world
Shatner and Nimoy came up with some of the greatest car CDs ever.
Nimoy was one of the defining actors and personalities in star trek. He and Nichelle Nichols had an impact on peoples lives and stood up for some of the key elements that made star trek what it was and kept it from being yet another action oriented and violent space spectacle lacking any true character and soul. Star Trek 4 is the first ST movie I saw (watched TOS many times) and it's still my favorite. In fact, the first record I ever bought was it's soundtrack album.
I would've loved to have met Leonard Nimoy before he died.
Star Trek IV is easily the greatest film in the series to date
yay Leonard Nimoy!
Love Leonard's work and great interview. Imagine if he played Spock's struggle the other way as an emotional human trying to be vulcan, crying with a stone face, randomly lashing out and vgripping the nearest crew red shirt, etc.
Fascinating. ;)
Nimoy is the only actor for whom I am an unabashed fanboy
When is the next part coming out? It's been over a week, is this going to every 2 weeks?
I used to have the album "Mr. Spock's music from outer space"
Superb stuff. Too much of TV interviews with Nimoy and his ilk are just sound bites used as an excuse for a clip show, whereas this is much more interesting and meaningful.
HOPE YOU DO A CHRIS NOLAN INTERVIEW FOR THE DARK KNIGHT RISES!
What year was this interview? Seems like a pertinent question.
R.I.P.
where is part two? The music at the end reminds of batman returns. :-)
A remix of Bilbo Baggins....EPIC
And as George Carlin opined, never let anybody try to tell you who your heroes are supposed to be.
amen brother
Shouldn't have told me about the Twitter.. hehe
Live long and prosper \\V//
and shatner could turn it into a spoken word version
Of course they have to use the "Double dumbass on you!" scene in the background when talking about IV.
master xehanort seems very friendly :D
I know how you feel
R.I.P. Mr. SPOCK!
What? I did not know this. O.O
an electric version of the ballad of bilbo baggins..2 tons of win.
Preach the TRUTH!! I feel that way about Hip-Hop and the CRAP that is being made in its name. Drake? Lil Wayne? Nicki Minaj? Rick Ross? PLEASE! This kids BITE of people like Rakim and Big Daddy Kane.
