Staging an organized yard sale requires much time and effort. Homeowners know that many shoppers intend to resell on EBay or Poshmark. If the items are in superior condition, THEY deserve the profit from their own merchandise. Justified that the bartering was unsuccessful with a knowledgeable seller. Offer was NOT reasonable, given the quality of the items.
@@susananthony2366 If you watch any American Pickers you have probably seen that attitude. The person has way more stuff than they can use and can't let go of any of it. It is a borderline hoarder mentality.

Why don't you leave your name and phone # at the garage sales that have things you want but the prices are too high. That way after the garage sale the owners can call you with a better price. Sometimes people regret not selling something.

Free birds are expensive, those may not sell in one day at a yard sale but anyone who pays full price for new freebirds will appreciate what she wants all day long, not to be negative but I wouldn't put that much profit in someone else's pocket either. This stuff resells quick it's not your ordinary yard sale finds that sit in a death pile and wait a year to see a profit.

HOLY CACA LACA.....these garage sales are MIND BLOWING!! To think that this OG owners of the items spent HOW MUCH on them!!!! And they are 'garage saling them"!!!! I am freaking out! I have no idea WHAT it is like to have THAT kind of VALUE mindset on items! VINTAGE COACH, with no lining, and the RAW leather on the inside!!!!! I do own a couple pieces that I paid FULL PRICE for before "coach outlet" was a thing!! WOW!!!!

Wow, you have the best garage sales in your area. My mom was a purse addict and when she moved from the house to the apartment we purged so many of her leather handbags... I couldn't sell them to save my life. That was before I started my reselling journey now LOL.
I love seeing you just grabbing everything! Some resellers on UA-cam only take a few cos they want to leave some for others. But this is a business. Buy the lot! I find it a bit sad. My view is: don't mess around. I loved that. You are so respectful and the people selling the bags must have been so thrilled.

I swear Ashley you find the best yard sales. Here in Western NY we don't find sales like that. I would have been so excited to find all those bags😀😀😀In my 3yrs I've only found one yard sale that comes kind of close to this. I saw an add that said estate yard sale, new with tag items. I was super excited when I got there and I was the only shopper...probably because the sale started on a Wednesday morning. The person with the sale was a chronic shopper at Lane Bryant and my size too...yay!!!! I spent $350 on NWT items and came home with over $4500 in retail items. I kept a few items but sold 95% of everything else. I made over $2000. That will probably never happen to me again. Watching your videos gives me hope though😍

I agree about seeing the person running the yard sale and what they have because I went to a community sale and was striking out but then I walked up to one house and the girl had on an Anine Bing sweatshirt and Golden Goose sneakers and I was like finally! Jackpot 🤣

Serious question… I resell too super casually l, but do you feel badly or have anxiety about getting to a garage sale and taking a ton of their inventory with the seller basically knowing you will resell it and it’s not necessarily if for you? 😬 I struggle ha. You are amazing, way to get the wins!✊🏽
Same here 😅 I’ve actually about to go to a going out of business thrift store sale this coming weekend for the first time and I’m worried if I get anything that’s too big I’ll be questioned like “that doesn’t look like it’ll fit you” lol!! Guess I could fib and say it’s for someone else!

I find that listing handbags gives my little store a boost. So usually the handbag sells and then a couple of my older things will sell. They’re good luck. Especially those vintage coach bags. I found two and now wish I kept them 😂

As a person who pays what the item is priced I am happy to watch you. I have yard sale bought for about 45 years. I have never tried to haggle down a price. It is what I figure in buy or walk away. I have quit watching so many on UA-cam because of wanting to pay less when they are already getting a great deal. One would not pay $300 for an item well worth over a $1,000 so he isn’t worth my time

I know the value of free birds and thought 500 is a lot at a yard sale but I wouldn't give away a potential opportunity to make myself a grand either. 500 is only 45 each which is extremely low depending on what shoe. Hey at least you asked and you did get some good stuff.
