I love the idea of a small cover charge and then everything is free to clear out stock. We buy storage lockers and twice a year we hold a three day $1 to $5 yard sale for all the things we deem not eBay worthy.

Ohmigosh! Id have gone back to the car, dumped my bags and gone back multiple times for $5 and a chunk extra when Id leave! I was shocked that you only filled one bag Ashley!
The whole time your bag was filling up I was like I would feel so bad for only $5. I would have to give more money when I left. Not surprised to see you do the same :)

I like the fact that the audio had to be recorded afterwards, I think it makes things less stressful for you plus you can give a more detailed description of what you're looking at

An area HS has a rummage sale every year to raise funds for their afterprom. At end of sale all items were 50 cents. I got a gorgeous Tahari suit and a Cole Haan black leather purse.

I probably would have put my first load into the car and went back for more. They could have easily charged $20 a person so $5 is beyond awesome!

This looks so fun! I have never heard of a small entry fee for an event like this where you get to take as much as you want away. I truly don't understand how they would make much money doing this but I think the idea is fantastic!

You make digging through clumps of clothes look fun. I’ll bet there was some not so good stuff in that sale! You are obviously a trooper. I’m the same way at the bins. It might look like junk to others but treasure can be found.

FR clothing is worn by people in the electrical field, those items have a rating of protection like levels. It is also supposed to be washed correctly or it will Damage the level of protection. Anyone who works in the electrical field should wear this clothing, it helps protect against Arc Blast, which is molten metal in shotgun blast form.
Always buy it if you see it, it’s not cheap clothing.

Hi. I have vintage silk ties with spots. Care to share how to get spots out? I tried the tide pen and it didn't work. That swap meet was amazing!! It pays to dig.

If you go to things like this a lot you might consider getting a granny cart/utility cart. They're pretty easy to maneuver around & you'd have a much easier time carrying things.
I put a behind the door wire basket on the back of mine with zip ties so I'd have a place for my water bottles & small things.
Man I'd love to go to places like this. Especially if it includes the furniture & even more so if the owners know someone that could deliver it home for me for a price.

There was a woman in the town where i used to live who was living with her aunt and got kicked out for drug use. So out of revenge she broke in when her aunt was away on business and had an "eatate sale." Cleaned the place out. The cops were called and it was on the news after the fact, but the poor woman only recovered a fraction of her household.
I would definitely check if this setup is legit and they have the right to do this before going. When something is too good to true it usually is.

I would have gone into super, massive, hyper overload!! I don't know how you were able to get out of there with that one bag, albeit a super large bag, I think that a backpack would've helped you out in that situation. A cherishable reseller moment for sure!!
