This is an awesome food menu. Enjoy guys!
That was an awesome video. The part where Jim got baptized in alcohol spray was hilarious. That food looked so good!
People like the man at 12:30 should be paid a lot more than they make. Masters of their craft. And hidden talents.

Hello Jim and May, The video was great and it seems that it was a chocolate kind of day and I like the mole but can be more sweet than I like but goes good on almost anything. Well you guys have a great day and I will be looking forward to your next video.
Great video. Are you still in Puerto Rico? Hope so.

Longtime interest in Oaxaca. One reason, I'm a chocoholic. Love mole and haven't had any in years...Gracias for this vid...A "coffee shop" in Playa del Carmen sells Oaxacan chocolates. Have great MX coffee, lunch and leave with several chocolate bars..YUM!
Nice! We'll be in PdC in December. You'd love Oaxaca if you haven't visited yet. So much good food. Thanks for watching! -Jim
@@SpanishandGo Covid restrictions have kept me from traveling...Now waiting on booster shot. Then ✈.. Hopefully Oaxaca by early November. Maybe in time for Day of The Dead Honoring...It really has "called me" for 3 years. Everything about Oaxaca seems special.
Good wishes!
We’ll get through this. I keep telling May “COVID can’t be the end of travel forever.” We’ve managed to pull through worse things in history. You’ll definitely love Day of the Dead. We haven’t experienced it in Oaxaca, but we have in Michoacán, Colima, and in Mexico City. Michoacán has an incredible DotD celebration. Here’s more information about our trip there in case you’re curious: spanishandgo.com/travel/experience-michoacan-and-day-of-the-dead
Ahora, tengo hambre!
¡Nosotros también! jajaja
Muy interesante! I am obsessed with cacao. What did she spray on you before entering the restaurant? Did each place do that?
Some places in Mexico will spray you with a disinfectant solution. I’d say about 1/10 restaurants do this, but I suppose it depends on the region. It did feel or smell strong, but it is a bit of a surprise when you think they’re just going to give you some in your hands. 😂 Thanks for watching! -Jim
1:30 wtf just happened! 😂
You fibbed and said there were closed captions for this, but there aren't any, and this is way too fast for me to understand! 😭
Actually, we worked very hard to include closed captions. You just have to turn them on either by hitting the “C” key on your keyboard or clicking the gear icon and selecting the language. Thanks for watching!
Chocolate. Moles. Mezcal. Café. Chapulines d milpa Es una especie específica. 8 regiones. Playa. Montaña. Bosque. Semidesértico. Q mas me falta?
Any feelings on Puerto Rico? I went there twice last winter to look for places to live, The geography is beautiful but the people seem un grateful for all the help the rest of the country has given them for the last hundred years. Amazing amount of litter and dump site and the buildings couldn’t be any uglier and all look like old concrete prison cells including having to have the bars on every door and window. Are there pictures in Mexico that I might appreciate more? I don’t mind poverty it’s the bad attitude I’m hoping to avoid in Latin America.
I heard of the earthquake in Mexico. Are you guys safe??
Yes, we’re okay! Thanks for checking. We’re actually back in Puerto Rico already. 😊
Captions dont work properly btw
Sorry about that! They're fixed now. :)
