This was one of my graduation songs us students sang for the teacher, and I got a few of Elphaba’s parts, so it’s amazing being able to sing all of her parts along to you. You have a gift, you sound astonishing!!! ❤
Beth, thank you so much for this video! In just days, I’ll be singing this with my daughter at her college senior recital. It's one of our favorite songs, and I can’t believe I’ll be singing it with my grown girl. Coincidentally, she’s graduating from Kristin Chenoweth’s alma mater-Oklahoma City University. 🎓 I’ve been practicing for weeks, not only perfecting my part, but trying to get my tears out ahead of time (been tough). I’ve cried looking at you, and I don’t even know you! Such is the depth and beauty of this song. Just wanted to let you know I appreciate you, your voice, and this helpful video. Wish me luck!💗
What a wonderful story! All the very best of luck for your daughter's recital! I'm sure it'll be a magical moment for the both of you 🥰 glad I could help you practice!
Thanks for the feedback Brook - I've tried to follow the exact timing of the Original Broadway recording, but I'll keep your comment in mind for future songs :)

thank you for also noticing i thought i was going crazy 😭
Uh she's not...? Glinda has always sung the melody/low harmony on this specific song. That's a big part of the song.
