School was different in the 80's than it is today. #retrotales #carmenqgollihar #backintheday #originalcontent #originalseries #thegoodolddays #80snostalgia
I was born 2007 and we still had all of this. Definitely the best thing ever. getting to watch magic school bus in p.e. And then going to our class and feeling a warm copy of a cross word puzzle was definitely one of my favorite things in elementary school
My school has a big ol tv and vcr and you are right it is awesome....... Until some one pushed it down the stairs....... R.i.p tv and vcr you will be missed
I was born in 1995 but i was able to experience those old printers. They used recycled paper and black ink. After printing it is still warm but some letters can't be seen especially when the paper is rough
I was born in 2012 and in third grade in 2022. We still use these. And there was one time where I was selected and there was only 2 times in the year where children were selected. I was selected the first time on the first day of school and the child who got selected next hit a bump. In Napa TV off and the TV completely shattered everywhere. So from then on, teachers had to bring it. They literally bought a new TV. And it was absolutely astonishing. They bought this really big TV. And it was SO high quality. And then the next year, it rang away when missing. And then they had to put another old one back in.
My school is more than a 100 years old My grandma was in it My mom was in it My aunts were in it And it didn't change so I experienced those And I can approve School in the 80s rocked
I never got to roll the cart but oh man that fresh copy machine paper! And no, they still paddled us so the only time I stood in corner (on one foot) was at home!
When we had to return our library books it just feels like when you said like the 2nd thing we've said just feel all the way to the middle of the school
I had the same feeling when I printed a fresh sheet of paper for a project, my family put us on the walls, and we still had those TVs in middle school at least. Possibly high school too but I never saw one. I'm an 01 baby.
I loved using the ditto machine…but they were outdated by 1989 when I was in high school, even before 1987. The machine we got to use was an old one saved for the art department.
The ditto sheet, omg smelled so good, uphoria lol. She was way too excited over the damn TV/VCR cart lol...I can go even better, in elementary school we had projectors lol.
The “ditto” machine!!! Oh we didn’t smell them fur the warmth, we all caught a little buzz! Oh the 80s were the BEST!!!!

I grew up in the early 2000's and we had the TV, vcr cart still.
TV on a cart brought absolute joy until the teacher came in with "Pencils and paper, everyone, we're taking notes." 😂🤣
Yes! Loved that TV cart!! Nap time and chilling with your friends in the back of the class!!
Or getting up to “sharpen your pencil” so everyone could get a good look at your new outfit/shoes etc 😂 The original social media!!!

My mom threw a brick through the principals in the 80s. She was accused and punished for doing it when she didn't do it, so she did it.
