Seems like a lot of us had these as a rental, I had the 2.5 sr, pretty sure it was fwd. Coming from my equus it felt sluggish but acceleration was more than adequate to me. Super comfortable, great handling, and great on gas. I’d love to own one of these as a daily but I don’t know about owning another cvt… coming from issues I’ve had with my ‘10 altima as my first car.
In my SL the top of the guages has leather up there and leather by the knees. Double tap the sport mode from a roll and you will get a quicker and snappier downshift.
i have it as a rental right now and it vibrates at 20-30 at light throttle. The wheel and seat vibrates and it hurts my ears. The A/C system is solid though, ice cold. Oh and the side mirrors vibrate on the highway! How nice is that! It is not comparable to a prior 2022 avalon i had as a rental. That avalon was so quiet and so smooth. The engine was so smooth you could barely hear it, and it was soft over bumps.
i'm looking to get an altima can you guys cut a few people off going 30 over the speed limit and taking exits real late pls ? need to know it can handle the driving i'm gonna be doing.
@@DMCarReviews I do it all the time. If you did it correctly you will hear a rev limiter initiate and just release the brake lol but of course push the gas pedal fast so to just rev at redline.
Rented one of these, and I’m happy to say that it exceeded expectations! It was fuel efficient, comfortable, and quite powerful for what it is.
Exactly!
Hey you mentioned me. Im typing these comments as im listening to you!!!
Ahah yes I did
3:36 he looked pretty upset when you lifted the arm rest 😂😂
Ahahaha

Thank you for watching!

I never had any CVT problems with the Nissans I had.
Nissan really improved the cvts.
Absolutely!
Is this model still having cvt issues.
@@Manny-lc1mf im not sure about reliability on these newer models. I would assume its better but dont quote me on it
@@Demoxx1 Well Nissan was sued for the bad transmissions so the newer ones should be better
@@MichaelBanko-e1v yes the older ones are bad but i think its improven

The SL has a nicer interior
@@DMCarReviews also has a soft lower dash compared to the hard 1 here!
How’s the sl treating you
@@supersmash6058 I'm typing you from it right now. It's doing great. We drive thru floods today.
@@occckid123 did the flood damage the car, even if it may be a Nissan or not
I had this car as a rental last summer and hated everything about it
What did you hate about it? I really enjoyed the experience. My first car was an Altima too
It’s complete trash. I agree.

That’s true
I've rented them MANY times. It's by far my favorite. 41 mpg and it was fairly quick and comfortable. Maybe you had a lemon.
I recommend it
I drove one on vacation, very comfortable and quick, I just don’t like CVT
I like the CVT here

The handling is great, so you won't miss your exits
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Do Altima's not come with V6 engines anymore?
No!
Can u test drive a 3rd Gen Acura TL? I wanna see 0-60 time with dragy
I can try to find one
How come you don’t get a view of the whole car while your doing the walkaround?
My camera was set too low
The engine rattle as you open the hood unnerves me . Makes me feel like the engine may have some lifter or valve issues.
It's a brand new car
@@DMCarReviews I hear you. It may not be the case with this vehicle. However, new doesn't always mean problem free. 😉
Brake tq it off the line for a bigger jolt off the line.
Brake torqueing a cvt is not a good idea😂
