One of my favorite albums of all time. It’s funny how some great bands just don’t get the breaks. But I can’t even listen to their first album, so maybe you don’t get a second chance.
I really love this album, it just needed a slightly better production from someone like Trevor Horn. All the songs sound a bit thin and tinny, whereas they could have sounded like the tracks on ABC's Lexicon Of Love album with better production.
This could have been a truly amazing album if they'd get a decent producer to work on it. As it is, it sounds a bit amateurish in terms of production. The songs themselves are very good.

This album has so many interesting ideas. The production is okay, but I just wish a really top producer like Trevor Horn or Martin Rushent had produced it because it could have sounded even better. The production isn't quite as good as it could have been in places.
The style and production is quite similar to The Party's Over by Talk Talk which was released at almost the same time if I remember correctly. Although Inhibitions sounds like Ultravox.

Seen these guys at glasgow appollo supporting Toyah.. top gig
Saw them supporting Toyah at the Brighton Centre probably same tour
@@paulockenden4278 Also saw them at a Toyah gig, at the Hammersmith Odeon. Good times.

My thoughts exactly
Damn I forgot how good this was, and now I'm wondering who stole my copy!
Changed my mind slightly from earlier: now I'd say the best tracks in my opinion are Feel The Fear, Obsession, Hanging On, Tension.
Bought this today on Japanese import , bought it the day after seeing them support Toyah Glasgow Apollo back in the day !!
This band deserved TV recognition.
Bought it at a record store in Rio de Janeiro yesterday for a very good price, almost couldn't believe when I saw it.
I bought a copy on Amazon a few weeks ago for about £40 here in England. Fantastic album.
Is this timeless, or have I just lost all sense of time?
It is timeless. I just wish they'd had a better producer, someone like Trevor Horn or Tony Mansfield for instance.
9.4.24, 17:55 EST. Thank you!
I dance naked to this record. Super good!
Proof?
Sounds a little APB, Comateens and a few others. Which is a good thing.
Reminds me of Tears Are Not Enough. Never heard of Comateens - I'll have to check them out.

Secret there only secret
Keep them to yourself tonight
Memories they only memories
Forget them just for once tonight
:)
What a group... nothing to envy to the major new wave bands of those years

This is not a good pressing. The sound is awful.
I think it's the transfer from vinyl to computer that's more likely to be the problem.
Love it
Are you familiar with The Party's Over by Talk Talk? This sounds quite similar in my opinion.
@@ajs41 Yeah! Its one of my favorite songs by Talk Talk ❤
