The Hotel closest to you where I have stayed is The Rooms for Rent above Splash. Of course, it was the Canterbury Tales back then But The rooms look the same online and were really comfortable. Although you will only find sleep when Triangle bar closed for the night !!
You can cross 2nd road, out of Soi 11, go into the courtyard, just left of Tipp, and go say hi to Pang. She's a local artist and painted me a very nice abstract picture for my Vietnam home. I will take one home every time I come over.
Trevor when I come over im staying at the Sunshine & Residence Soi 8 Ive worked in Hotels most of my life.I’ll speak with the manager and explain the benefits a review can do for him. Least I can do for all the advice about Pattaya Ive learnt from your videos. Thanks Tony
Great Walk-around. For newbies, it would be great if you included a map of where you went at various places. Like you had the meal and jotel room inserts. 👍
When I used to visit as a tourist I would stay at the Vogue, just behind the top of soi Lengkee. Nice rooms and very quiet at night, it is a few minutes walk to Chaiyapoon.
After doing immigration my wife and I used to visit Hemmingway's, Jomtien. When they had the carvery it was good. The last couple of visits, not impressed. Maybe just off days. This week we went in the Robinhood. Met Max. The food was excellent. I was hoping you would have been going past The Shamrock Bar in this video. It was my regular Sunday lunchtime drinking bar from when I discovered it in 1987. During covid the area took a hit and has never fully recovered. As for me, old age and getting from Sattahip and hitting the traffic in Pattaya knocked it on the head. Everything has changed. An interesting video, Trev. Nice one.
any Aussies watching this just to let you know that purple booth near Avenue mall is always better then TT and there is a green booth halfway down Soi Dianna that's really good as well
I will be coming over in December, first time since 2019😢. So i will come and check out your bar ,and beat you at pool🤭. Do you still have to place at treetown still?
8:39 Acqua was a great spot the view from the balconies allows you to get a really good pulse of the city before you leave out for the night and there is a really neat alley way that goes almost straight to the buzzin lounge Trev they might not have let you do the tour because it’s under construction the pool was missing when I was there but the girls from the lounge still liked the hotel perfect place to stay if you’re visiting the Buzzin lounge
Stayed about 20 times across 3rd Rd at what used to be called LK President (think they’ve changed the name now). Enjoyed it every time and I reckon good value for what you get. Stayed at Acqua once - nice enough and great location but small rooms and not cheap. Hemingways one of my go to places for a good breakfast (lovely bacon sarnies) and I’ve never had a bad meal in Robin Hood. Enjoy the videos Trev, always good checking in every now and then to see what’s going on. Cheers.
I've just stayed there from mid April - 2nd May & very reasonable at around £430! Looked at prices for Dec there & almost DOUBLE!! 😯😯.. Would NEVER return in April, temperatures touching 50...UNBEARABLE!! 🥵🥵🥵.. Bars quieter as well eg. Soi Honey where there's NO-ONE in them at 9/10 pm! Girls getting more expensive as well starting at 2,000 but DEFO haggle coz their just at it! Time u buy them, their pal, their pals Maw & Da ur up tae 500 fur 1 bottle ae beer, they really dae take the piss but they don't get aff me, Canny Scotsman!! 😁😁🤣🤣🤣🤣
I will be visiting Pattaya for some dental work later this year and have started looking at some hotels. Do you know anything about these four places that are not on their website: Serenotel, Flipper House, Blue Sky, April Suites. Probably a month's stay if they have a monthly rate !!
The "no more low season" thing is probably for the best. It would make it much easier on the bars to stay open if they dont uave to plan for months of reduced income.
I usually stay on Soi 13 AA or the S Lodge. Staying Seven Zeas Chic Hotel Soi 5 @ Beach Road this next trip in September. $30usd/night weekly. 2nd week, we have 2 condos at the Base.
How much has it been raining through May? Normally I visit Pattaya earlier in the year, bt considering May for next year... just don't fancy being stuck inside if it's constantly raining.
Hi Trev, i enjoyed this walkaround. As usual. When i was in Pattaya last year i stayed at LK The Empress on beachroad. And it was decent. Can you perhaps make content about how to get a Thai drivers license for let's a motorbike if you don't have one in your home country ?
One Bay Breeze on Ski 11with Hemingways right across the street is my go to place to stay when I'm in Pattaya. 1,400 a night for a deluxe queen with balcony.
That 'bad boy' you looked up to from that dead end alley is The Base condos. Small condos threre go for around $800 a month on Airbnb. That massage salon you passed by right before is a nice salon and fairly new. I went in for a manicure and foot massage (because why not?) and was helped by three ladies simultaneously. Made for some good pictures!
I’ve stayed in Acqua hotel, nice rooms with very comfortable soft beds, although rooms are a bit small, good pool on roof, very friendly staff, only down side is some rooms are noisy at night due to being close to Tree Town😅
Only thing about chaiapoon Apts is no elevator.. I stayed 2 years back. All good. No sound. But had to walk to 4th floor. Now I mostly use Vogue across the road. Good value and rooms.
A handy tip for sneakily reviewing a hotel. Approach reception and tell them you have some friends coming over next month/week. Ask for prices of rooms. After that, ask if you can look at a room.
With the news about Puff Diddy' coming out - I think he will be wearing an orange jump suit compliments of the USA Corrections Dept. Hahaha! Peace Trevor - good video!

The Yellow veg that you didn`t know at 02.50 was PUMPKIN , Acgua hotel low season now are at 1500 Baht , high season are over 3000 baht , The Beer name that you were searching for at 20.23 is probably the German beer made from Wheat which is known as WEIZEN the W is pronounced as a V so spoken as VEIZEN
Another Great Vid. Coming out in Nov / Dec so these tips are great, 1 Question. When your bat fine a girl do they stay in the same outfit or do they get changed? Oh and If you just only have a few drinks with one lady and then come back next day and drink with another girl is that being a butterfly as well or it is only if you room or bar fine them? Thanks again mate.

I don’t understand any commercial establishment, e.g.., hotel or restaurant, that wouldn’t jump at the chance to have their place featured in a review. All they have to do is look at your channel. I slipped on wet tile, and with a knee that has been surgically repaired 6 times, that’s all she wrote. Now, I’m waiting for a complete knee replacement… then I’m returning to stay!
Areca Lodge on Soi Diana is fantastic. Right in the middle of it all and almost completely free of noise pollution at night. Not been there since the Las Vegas beer complex opened next door so dont know if that has snookered it or not.
