It's just a translation issue. when men say: you're sad for going there, that translates to : "i'm so jealous of you going to paradise and having fun with beautiful women". when women say that: it translates to: "it's not fair that you go spend your money on a beautiful young woman over there instead of letting me take advantage of you"

I will be back in a couple of weeks. Bringing a mate who has never been to LOS. He is 72 and looking forward to his trip. He is going to love it. I often visit Pattaya for a week or two before continuing on my journey. I love that I can get off the plane at Swampy, jump on a bus and before you know it, you are sitting in a bar drinking an ice cold Chang and enjoying the sights, sounds and smells that are just so different to what you experience back home.
You are 100% spot on Trev. I have been very up front with everyone close to me that if I am ever in a position to do so, I am moving to Pattaya. Once I show them house and condo prices and the weather, most don't blame me one bit.
i dont give a shit what people think,i am a widower my children are grown up and married and have their own lives, most of my friends my age do gardening or going to bingo or some other crap.i prefer nice weather good cheap food, good company in the bars ,its my life and i will enjoy it while i can
glad Ive seen this video.. ever since Ive been telling people Im heading to Thailand Ive been getting battered by the *off to get a ladyboy* or *Looking for a wife* etc etc.. Whilst I plan to partake in whatever I come across when over there, the stigma of going spreads through the rumour mill faster than a victorian bushfire. Even before going, I am preparing myself for when I get back and all the sideways smiles etc..
ignore the haters mate, leave them sat at home miserable and with an unhappy relationship, instead mate come out, enjoy and have fun, it's all here waiting for ya
Really good video Trevor every word is so true. My mate has just retired and lives on 30 quid a week. Sits in weatherspoons every day on he's own nursing 1 pint. Goes home to a freezing empty flat. That's not living. Live here now in jomtien. Perfect climate so much to do to pass the time. So much cheaper than the uk. As for the stigma I used to say. Have you ever been there? The people who ridicule you are just jealous because they can't do what you are doing 💯
I went to Koh Samui a few years ago and when I got back home, the first thing my sister said to me was "What's wrong with Australian women?" I was only over there to visit a mate but found a few very lovely Thai women who leave western women for dead, I'd go back any day.
l have been coming to thailand for 20 years, been with thai girl for 16 years, great girl, partying most nights til 4am,dancing in immsonnia night club and i am 71 years old, come over lads it keeps you young
Great video trev .ive not been coming to Thailand for very long just 5 trips in the last 3 years .only people i get stick from are my workmates mainly because there definitely jealous seeing as most of them need permission from there wives to even go for a pint theses days .but my family are great there happy im going somewhere tjat makes me extremely happy see you in December mate
Hi Trev i'm 66. I should have come in 2021 but had to cancel because of covid. I've visited friends twice this year in Pattaya such lovely people a great place. As you say enjoy life to the full i wish i had visited years ago. Uk at the moment is a cesspit of grief. I will be back in September and will pop into the Buzzin Lounge and say hello to you and the girls.
Another great video trev. Happiness is where the hart is if you don’t know someone why do people feel they have the wright to judge them I love Thailand and I have many good friends in Thailand men and women we are all here but a very short time make the most of it
Great vid Trev. Been visiting for ten plus years and suffered the judgement you're talking about probably more than I know as what's said to your face can probably be multiplied by ten behind your back. Take care Matey, and oh yes I send my grandkids postcards every time I visit 😘
You hit a bunch of my points & thoughts about paying for it ya always do some how most ppl I know have never been out of the country so they don't have a clue about other cultures I just tell them I'm looking for a cheaper cost of living come retirement time
Totally agree with everything you said Trev. These people who judge others about going to Thailand and Pattaya live a depressing life, have never visited Thailand & don’t want others to be happy. I have a couple of guys at work that always give me a hard time about Thailand. I cheer them up by sending photos of me on a hot beach with a cold beer and beautiful girl sitting next to me 😂👍🤟🇦🇺🇦🇺
I took 17 family and friends to Pattaya , over 10 years ago , with young teenagers , and they all loved it . And they still want to come back someday . Theres more to Pattaya than just bars and girls . Im now 63 and ive been going to thailand for over 33years now , and i still love it !!! Certainly been going to pattaya for 25 years . Bring it on !!!
Awesome work! I've explored 46 countries and call the US home. Comparing Pattaya to Vegas in terms of "paying for it" is like comparing apples to oranges - media bias strikes again (Vegas is worse--or better--depending on your preference)! I stopped caring about others' opinions on this long ago. Pattaya, in my view, is a gem (unless they mess it up). It's not just about the dating scene; there's a world of experiences waiting in all types of ways (food, diverse cultures, tooling around on a motorbike, sightseeing, shopping, beaches, and more). Cheers!
To be honest, I always get positive feedback when going to Pattaya with many saying how jealous they are & they want to come with me, I've never had any negatives. I reckon personally when they see the hotels, beaches, views, restaurants, attractions etc their minds quickly change to one of jealousy anyway. Been Vegas a few times & I'm just as proud to go Pattaya Thailand and make the same noise about going all over my Social Networks. 🙏
Great video Trev! I go to Thailand 3-5 times a year and also to several other countries. I tell everyone. Why care about what other people think? Live your life and enjoy it to the fullest😊
Many people raised their eyebrows when I said I was travelling to Thailand and planning to retire there. But, largely, everyone has been very supportive. So to all the haters, you can all take a running jump to yourselves. Thailand is an amazing country filled with the most friendly people, stunning beaches, crystal clear seas to swim in, astonishing architecture, scenery to make you well up inside (I was tearing up the first time I saw a sunset from a catamaran off the coast of Phuket, and I am not ashamed to admit it), fabulous food (not just Thai, I have eaten some incredible Western food as well in Thailand), and above all, a champagne lifestyle on a shandy budget. You can live here very comfortably on HALF what it would cost in the UK. So don’t tell me I only come here for “one thing” when you literally have no clue. Trevor, this is a great video and you make some incredibly valid points. Well done mate, well done.
yah must ignorant comments about Thailand are usually from people who are ignorant of Thailand. They have never visited Thailand or only spent a few days in Bangkok or Pattaya but think they know everything about the people and the country .
The people who are prejudging are most of the time people who are unhappy but don't dare to change their lives. Im married to a beautiful ,Thai woman an can you imagine the stigma cause she was born in Pattaya...she"s the best thing that happened in my life. 🙏
All my family and friends know why I go to Pattaya, it’s never been an issue. I’ve never kept it a secret. They know I treat the Thai girls with kindness and respect, and I’ve always told people I plan to retire and live in Thailand eventually, which is why I’m learning to speak Thai. If anyone did have a problem with me going to Pattaya, I really wouldn’t care anyway. It’s my life, my choice.
The thing about going to Pattaya if you are an old farang, is that when you go out to a bar there are plenty of other people around your same age there,. Where I live most of the nightspots I would like to go too are full of young people and you feel totally out of place.
You're right to be upset, as it does happen way more than it should. I once had a bit of flack from a relative who apparently knew better than me, but I decided to go anyway. Glad I did, because I met my wife on that trip. I'm one of the lucky ones who didn't get rinsed! ...at least, not yet, haha... maybe she has a decade-plus plan for this unsuspecting rube! I really enjoy your channel -- full of good information!!
Couldn't agree more with you Trev, my mates always took the Mick out of me when I told them I was going to be living and working in Bangkok , I'm about to start my last contract in Bangkok at 54 they're all married to women whose best years are well behind them, they still take the rip but I just smile tell them I'm going back to my nice condo and will be waking up next to a hot 23 year old lady every morning while they're slogging through the rain/ sleet/snow to work
Honestly mate I am early 50's and I copped so much grief from friends and family for going to Philippines 9 years ago. Yeah I got married and yeah maybe they can say I told you so. However, 12 months ago I went to Pattaya for the first time and went on a buzzin crawl. You and Ian eventually took me to heaven above. Right now 12 months later I am living in Australia with Koi from Heaven Above and I wish like he'll I had never ever been to Philippines. The Thai people are absolutely phenomenal and I absolutely adore her and she does me.
I had an amazing time, lovely Thai people, Thai food, beautiful weather. Wherever I am at in the world, I will say this about the country and my trip. ❤❤❤
Hey Trav it really doesn't matter what people think at the end of the day it's about my happiness but I've also had friends say they wish they were going with me this is just another way of experiencing and travelling the world and meeting great people I really believe it's about having a positive outlook on life look forward to seeing you in November cheers mate
Oi buddy! I enjoy your videos, I found out what Pattaya was all about from you a couple of years back. It inspired me to visit there and vlog! Thanks for the videos and good content 🙏🏽
I was home last November ,back from hols in thailand and it was - 11.. I went to work on my bike at 62 years old. I had a knee and hip operation. So I was trying to get fit. I was happy. I had lots of friends, family football, drinking the lot.. Well, I came to Thailand in June. to stay here... I wasn't desperate or lonely 😊.. Thailand has so much more to offer. I love the weather. It's cheap to live. I have lots of friends.. I know I deserve to be happy. I have no regrets whatsoever.. ps that's me. Silly blue hat after about 15 seconds of video😊. Love thailand 🇹🇭. Love pattaya.
I could write loads here on the subject, but i dont need to. Trev, you summed it up perfectly. Its actually worse in the UK if you ask me. Last time I spoke to a woman in the bar in UK, it was like an interview......bloody ridiculous. Told her i was broke, and she did not want to know. Absolutely no difference to the girls here. The people that have the problem are the slaggers..........not the slagged. People can be weak some times, but they need to rise above the negative, ignore the shite people talk, and do what they want........I BLOODY DO!
@Buzzinpattaya Absolutely bang on in your description of the ney sayers. Small minded, jealous, often poorly travelled (Spain LOL) and undoubtedly a lack of funds. Let them stew in their own ignorance. I am so looking forward to retirement in Pattaya, unfortunately still a few years away but hey! It gives me the goal which is keeping me healthy and determined. Your good work is very much appreciated by 99.99% of us all.
hi trev my friends and family have a laugh when i say ive booked again for thailand they say remember to send us photo of you buying drinks for the lady boys im 60 and work hard for my 4 holidays a year
Got goosebumps seeing all these places as you are walking by. Coming again in a couple of weeks. Totally agree with what you are saying in this video!!! Will buy you a beer if i meet you)))
Great video T. You only have ONE life Enjoy it and don't let Anyone control you and tell you what to do Ever!!!.Even if your married your partner has NO right to control you in any way!!!.
Completely agree on all aspects which you brought up regarding the stigma of coming to Thailand on Holiday. I used to get that back home. Now fast forward, I have lived permanently here for 13 years and I have never regretted it for one minute
Yes I have had jokes aimed at me, but underneath they were serious. I've even experienced it in Thailand when working. Many Thais do not like Pattaya and speak badly about it especially the farangs that go there. So much so that I stopped saying I lived in Pattaya and changed it to Chonburi or Eastern Seaboard, as my house is outside the city over the darkside. Not think it will change in my lifetime. By the way, I was a widower in UK but been married to a Thai for 23 years and have grown up kids and grandkids here in Thailand and really love my life.
Mate loved this video Trev. I can really relate to this. 54, and been to Pattaya a couple of times now looking for places to retire. Met you, travelled around. I cop crap all the time in Australia. From unhappy married women mainly and tortured married men. I don't give a sh*t what anyone thinks anymore. My life my way. I'm much happier, smarter and wiser from my travels. And life is a game, for everyone, everywhere. And if blokes think western women aren't playing you - you're blind.. Thai women know the world and how to play it. No harm, no foul. Love Pattaya & Jomtien - live life now. F - them 🙏🙏🙏
Going to Pattaya for a month in Feb (my 5th time but not been for 10 years) i could not care less what any one thinks really , but your 100% right about people being jealous heard it first hand and its a good idear to send the people who judge you if you know them well a postcard every week of your holiday they tend not to like that , watched all your recent vids they have been a big help on my planning for the trip so cheers for that
What the hell, none of my family would dare tell me what to do , let your balls drop boys, or get some. I lived on $100 a day, on my last visit. Where else in the world can you have bands, bars, beer and good accomadation and nice food and people for that money. But I am over 70yrs so I have slowed down a bit. Just a question guys, stopped in Aussie on the way over and back. But after every flight, three days later came down with a virus, am I the only one or are the aircraft filters not up to it
100% agree with you Trev, and on top of that I've been visiting Pattaya for 10 years and have had several girlfriends who worked normal jobs and never asked me for anything. As far as the haters go I just laugh. See you in the lounge next month arriving 16th.
Spot on regarding Sad old men going to Thailand Trev, Well am an Old Man but Certainly not Sad and received all the usual Comments before my First Trip and after 15 years of 2/3 Trips a Year they are still the Happiest times of my Life which I would never Change for the World
Can’t wait to retire to Thailand when I’m 50 currently I’m 47 so plan on having 6 months there soon for a break after caring for my late parents, work is getting like Groundhog Day I want to enjoy my life , as the saying goes life is for living The uk is finished now too many immigrants and far to expensive
I was in the Royal Australian Air Force and was posted to Butterworth as a single guy in my 20s I spent all my time off travelling through Thailand. Now all the married women that live around me used to comment on my trips to Thailand I didn't care what was said and what they didn't realise that there husband would come around my place the minute they left and beg me to take them to Thailand
The thing that bothers me and what isn't contributing to Pattaya's image are the high number of creepy youtubers who post videos made with hidden camera's while creeping up on women and adding disrespectful comments. Before my first visit here I watched Geoff Carter or Kevin in Thailand but since then it seems like Patraya is the most video covered city in Thailand.
Im coming to pattaya in October on my own for my birthday, and I would rather have a holiday by myself, and I dont care what anybody thinks about my life and what I do
@@Buzzinpattayaguess this channel is beer and bar girl focused which is great for those interested. I went rural at 69, with a backpack, and found a beautiful kingdom with great people. No judgment, just saying there are many places in Thailand and we can all pick what suits our fancy
Haha I'm already judged where I live for literally just existing. I've come to the point where I could care less what others think about me anymore. I just want to live life and be happy. Hopefully I can visit in oct-nov. Then work my arse off until I can find a way to stay or eventually move. Who knows, that's my end goal though & you've motivated me so much.
There's NOTHING any more moral or wholesome in the States than in the East. This video just makes me MORE excited to go in December...hell, i may move it up sooner!!!
Hi Trev, enjoy your video well said and totally agree with what you'r saying, life for living bro, Life to short for negativity commence there will always be people who cast judgement, and at the end of the day we all have our lives to be happy😊🙏🖐️
A man is an (hopefully accumulating) asset, guilt is a weapon used to protect that asset. Used to keep you in line by society or groups who might benefit from your hard work or risks (effort, inheritance, taxes etc)
There is a lot of jealousy out there from men who are unable or unwilling to move to Thailand. Retired 56 year old Canadian, been here years, met my dream lady not in a bar here, cost of living easy half of Vancouver. Love it here. You do you. I do me. Don't judge.
Single non-divorce middle-aged middle-income men with no dependents are looked upon with the deepest shame in North America. Basically we're kicked to the curb in all aspects after years of working our asses off surviving the minefields of dead-end relationships. I wanna go to a place in the world wherever we can be accepted and appreciated. Apparently Thailand is where its at and I cannot wait to feel young again, even if it's for just a short time. The people and culture is so beautiful. Thankyou for your content as I really enjoy your videos.
Ready for my 8th or 9th trip there.... rarely drink, no drugs, come for affordable medical care (state of the art) and dating one of the most beautiful women in the world..... love love love walking the beaches early pre dawn..... such solitude and peace!!! Also LOVE the Elephant Sanctuaries!!!!!!!!!
I’ll be there in December been going there now for 10 years I don’t care what anybody thinks my business if they judge me they can do one Come on man get on the plane 👍👍👍👍

Been to Thailand 35yrs now 73, lots of people who have never been snigger at me and I don't give a toss. Back 01 Nov.
Haha nice one
I will be back in a couple of weeks. Bringing a mate who has never been to LOS. He is 72 and looking forward to his trip. He is going to love it. I often visit Pattaya for a week or two before continuing on my journey. I love that I can get off the plane at Swampy, jump on a bus and before you know it, you are sitting in a bar drinking an ice cold Chang and enjoying the sights, sounds and smells that are just so different to what you experience back home.
Sounds great!
You are 100% spot on Trev. I have been very up front with everyone close to me that if I am ever in a position to do so, I am moving to Pattaya. Once I show them house and condo prices and the weather, most don't blame me one bit.
Nice one mate
i dont give a shit what people think,i am a widower my children are grown up and married and have their own lives, most of my friends my age do gardening or going to bingo or some other crap.i prefer nice weather good cheap food, good company in the bars ,its my life and i will enjoy it while i can
good on ya mate fair play
I'm 59. I fancy slim Asian birds 30 years younger than me not divorced overweight women my age. It's very simple.
@@NomadicByNature my point exactly. 👍
Gotcha
I’m exactly the same , I turn 59 in September & I love Asia and Thailand for many reasons….. and that’s one of them !
glad Ive seen this video.. ever since Ive been telling people Im heading to Thailand Ive been getting battered by the *off to get a ladyboy* or *Looking for a wife* etc etc..
Cheers mate
I went to Koh Samui a few years ago and when I got back home, the first thing my sister said to me was "What's wrong with Australian women?" I was only over there to visit a mate but found a few very lovely Thai women who leave western women for dead, I'd go back any day.
Judgements galore mate sadly
l have been coming to thailand for 20 years, been with thai girl for 16 years, great girl, partying most nights til 4am,dancing in immsonnia night club and i am 71 years old, come over lads it keeps you young
Nice one
Great video trev .ive not been coming to Thailand for very long just 5 trips in the last 3 years .only people i get stick from are my workmates mainly because there definitely jealous seeing as most of them need permission from there wives to even go for a pint theses days .but my family are great there happy im going somewhere tjat makes me extremely happy see you in December mate
Hope ya get out soon mate
Well spoken and true. I am 78, alone, divorced and fit. And thinking of doing the trip to Thailand.
I'm 75 and going next year!! I hope.Booked up.
Do it mate
Hi Trev i'm 66. I should have come in 2021 but had to cancel because of covid. I've visited friends twice this year in Pattaya such lovely people a great place. As you say enjoy life to the full i wish i had visited years ago. Uk at the moment is a cesspit of grief. I will be back in September and will pop into the Buzzin Lounge and say hello to you and the girls.
Nice one mate
Another great video trev.
Happiness is where the hart is if you don’t know someone why do people feel they have the wright to judge them I love Thailand and I have many good friends in Thailand men and women we are all here but a very short time make the most of it
Cheers mate
Great vid Trev. Been visiting for ten plus years and suffered the judgement you're talking about probably more than I know as what's said to your face can probably be multiplied by ten behind your back. Take care Matey, and oh yes I send my grandkids postcards every time I visit 😘
Gotcha mate
You hit a bunch of my points & thoughts about paying for it ya always do some how most ppl I know have never been out of the country so they don't have a clue about other cultures I just tell them I'm looking for a cheaper cost of living come retirement time
We all pay one way or another
Life is far too short to be wasted ... been in Chiangmai for over 20 years..... am very VERY lucky.
Nice one mate
A Buzzin Hornets nest of opinions.! Love the videos, keep them coming.
Glad you like them!
100% agree with you Trev great chat this morning I love pattaya and Thailand
cheers mate
Totally agree with everything you said Trev. These people who judge others about going to Thailand and Pattaya live a depressing life, have never visited Thailand & don’t want others to be happy. I have a couple of guys at work that always give me a hard time about Thailand. I cheer them up by sending photos of me on a hot beach with a cold beer and beautiful girl sitting next to me 😂👍🤟🇦🇺🇦🇺
Cheers mate much appreciated
Hi I've finally booked to come out in February after watching your video you've given me the courage and motivation to do it thanks
Brilliant mate
I took 17 family and friends to Pattaya , over 10 years ago , with young teenagers , and they all loved it . And they still want to come back someday . Theres more to Pattaya than just bars and girls . Im now 63 and ive been going to thailand for over 33years now , and i still love it !!! Certainly been going to pattaya for 25 years . Bring it on !!!
Nice one mate
Awesome work! I've explored 46 countries and call the US home. Comparing Pattaya to Vegas in terms of "paying for it" is like comparing apples to oranges - media bias strikes again (Vegas is worse--or better--depending on your preference)! I stopped caring about others' opinions on this long ago. Pattaya, in my view, is a gem (unless they mess it up). It's not just about the dating scene; there's a world of experiences waiting in all types of ways (food, diverse cultures, tooling around on a motorbike, sightseeing, shopping, beaches, and more). Cheers!
Nice one mate
To be honest, I always get positive feedback when going to Pattaya with many saying how jealous they are & they want to come with me,
I've never had any negatives. I reckon personally when they see the hotels, beaches, views, restaurants, attractions etc their minds quickly change to one of jealousy anyway. Been Vegas a few times & I'm just as proud to go Pattaya Thailand and make the same noise about going all over my Social Networks. 🙏
Haha nice one mate
Great video Trev!
I go to Thailand 3-5 times a year and also to several other countries. I tell everyone. Why care about what other people think? Live your life and enjoy it to the fullest😊
Well said!
I can imagine
yah must ignorant comments about Thailand are usually from people who are ignorant of Thailand.
Well said
All my family and friends know why I go to Pattaya, it’s never been an issue.
Gotcha mate
The thing about going to Pattaya if you are an old farang, is that when you go out to a bar there are plenty of other people around your same age there,. Where I live most of the nightspots I would like to go too are full of young people and you feel totally out of place.
Thanks for sharing your experience with us mate much appreciated
You're right to be upset, as it does happen way more than it should. I once had a bit of flack from a relative who apparently knew better than me, but I decided to go anyway. Glad I did, because I met my wife on that trip. I'm one of the lucky ones who didn't get rinsed! ...at least, not yet, haha... maybe she has a decade-plus plan for this unsuspecting rube! I really enjoy your channel -- full of good information!!
Sad though mate
Good video when i went i got lady to take me to different places i used to go 20 years ago i enjoyed it
That's awesome
Nice one Terry it's the first time I have seen and heard someone talking about this subject on any internet platform. Well said, Sir. 🙏
Glad you enjoyed it
Couldn't agree more with you Trev, my mates always took the Mick out of me when I told them I was going to be living and working in Bangkok , I'm about to start my last contract in Bangkok at 54 they're all married to women whose best years are well behind them, they still take the rip but I just smile tell them I'm going back to my nice condo and will be waking up next to a hot 23 year old lady every morning while they're slogging through the rain/ sleet/snow to work
Haha brilliant mate
Agree wholeheartedly with your thoughts on letting other people control your life. Life is too short for that. Good chat Trev. Keep walking my friend.
Cheers mate
Honestly mate I am early 50's and I copped so much grief from friends and family for going to Philippines 9 years ago. Yeah I got married and yeah maybe they can say I told you so. However, 12 months ago I went to Pattaya for the first time and went on a buzzin crawl. You and Ian eventually took me to heaven above. Right now 12 months later I am living in Australia with Koi from Heaven Above and I wish like he'll I had never ever been to Philippines. The Thai people are absolutely phenomenal and I absolutely adore her and she does me.
Yeah they love sticking their noses in
Well said and as someone very elderly love the respect Thai people treat me with!
Cheers mate
I had an amazing time, lovely Thai people, Thai food, beautiful weather. Wherever I am at in the world, I will say this about the country and my trip. ❤❤❤
Well said!
Hey Trav it really doesn't matter what people think at the end of the day it's about my happiness but I've also had friends say they wish they were going with me this is just another way of experiencing and travelling the world and meeting great people I really believe it's about having a positive outlook on life look forward to seeing you in November cheers mate
Well said mate
Trev, I am from Holland 68 yrs. old and I am Anxious to make that Decision. 🙏
Do it mate
Oi buddy! I enjoy your videos, I found out what Pattaya was all about from you a couple of years back.
It inspired me to visit there and vlog!
Thanks for the videos and good content 🙏🏽
Nice one mate thank you
I was home last November ,back from hols in thailand and it was - 11..
Haha nice one mate fair play
I could write loads here on the subject, but i dont need to. Trev, you summed it up perfectly. Its actually worse in the UK if you ask me. Last time I spoke to a woman in the bar in UK, it was like an interview......bloody ridiculous. Told her i was broke, and she did not want to know. Absolutely no difference to the girls here. The people that have the problem are the slaggers..........not the slagged. People can be weak some times, but they need to rise above the negative, ignore the shite people talk, and do what they want........I BLOODY DO!
Cheers mate much appreciated
Top post Trev'.
Well said and thank you very much.
Glad you enjoyed it
@Buzzinpattaya Absolutely bang on in your description of the ney sayers.
Your good work is very much appreciated by 99.99% of us all.
hi trev my friends and family have a laugh when i say ive booked again for thailand they say remember to send us photo of you buying drinks for the lady boys im 60 and work hard for my 4 holidays a year
Lol
Got goosebumps seeing all these places as you are walking by. Coming again in a couple of weeks. Totally agree with what you are saying in this video!!! Will buy you a beer if i meet you)))
Have fun!
Cheers mate
Great video T. You only have ONE life Enjoy it and don't let Anyone control you and tell you what to do Ever!!!.Even if your married your partner has NO right to control you in any way!!!.
Well said!
Completely agree on all aspects which you brought up regarding the stigma of coming to Thailand on Holiday. I used to get that back home. Now fast forward, I have lived permanently here for 13 years and I have never regretted it for one minute
Cheers mate
Yes I have had jokes aimed at me, but underneath they were serious. I've even experienced it in Thailand when working. Many Thais do not like Pattaya and speak badly about it especially the farangs that go there. So much so that I stopped saying I lived in Pattaya and changed it to Chonburi or Eastern Seaboard, as my house is outside the city over the darkside. Not think it will change in my lifetime. By the way, I was a widower in UK but been married to a Thai for 23 years and have grown up kids and grandkids here in Thailand and really love my life.
Sadly yeah
Thanks great video. I have to wait for about 2 years than I retire and then is time to move to Thailand.
nice one
Exactly I’m bringing my dad because he doesn’t have long left I want him to enjoy the last bit he has
Good on ya mate
F - them 🙏🙏🙏
Nice one mate all the best
Thanks Trev I Feel What Your Saying Nothing But Truth...Be Well
Cheers mate
Your scenario is exactly my life. I will be coming as soon as I can when it is viable! This country is only going one way, it is screwed!
good on ya mate
Going to Pattaya for a month in Feb (my 5th time but not been for 10 years) i could not care less what any one thinks really , but your 100% right about people being jealous heard it first hand and its a good idear to send the people who judge you if you know them well a postcard every week of your holiday they tend not to like that , watched all your recent vids they have been a big help on my planning for the trip so cheers for that
Nice one
What the hell, none of my family would dare tell me what to do , let your balls drop boys, or get some.
I lived on $100 a day, on my last visit. Where else in the world can you have bands, bars, beer and good accomadation and nice food and people for that money. But I am over 70yrs so I have slowed down a bit.
Just a question guys, stopped in Aussie on the way over and back. But after every flight, three days later came down with a virus, am I the only one or are the aircraft filters not up to it
Gotcha mate thank you
This is one of the best speeches i ever heard! Well done dude!!! 🎉
Cheers mate
100% agree with you Trev, and on top of that I've been visiting Pattaya for 10 years and have had several girlfriends who worked normal jobs and never asked me for anything. As far as the haters go I just laugh. See you in the lounge next month arriving 16th.
Thanks mate
Excellent video. And something that needs to be said . RESPECT BUZZ 🙏

Spot on regarding Sad old men going to Thailand Trev, Well am an Old Man but Certainly not Sad and received all the usual Comments before my First Trip and after 15 years of 2/3 Trips a Year they are still the Happiest times of my Life which I would never Change for the World

Sounds great!
Can’t wait to retire to Thailand when I’m 50 currently I’m 47 so plan on having 6 months there soon for a break after caring for my late parents, work is getting like Groundhog Day I want to enjoy my life , as the saying goes life is for living
The uk is finished now too many immigrants and far to expensive
If the UK is finished, have a look Australia, Going down the tubes as well.
@@grahamjones6300 I have Aussie mates he says the same thing
Nearly 50 dollars for a pack of smokes

You make some very serious ethical points. It's all about owning and taking responsibility for your life. Enjoy everything with dignity and joy.
Cheers
I was in the Royal Australian Air Force and was posted to Butterworth as a single guy in my 20s I spent all my time off travelling through Thailand. Now all the married women that live around me used to comment on my trips to Thailand I didn't care what was said and what they didn't realise that there husband would come around my place the minute they left and beg me to take them to Thailand
haha brilliant
Well spoken Trevor another awesome video see u guys in December/January can't waite
Cheers mate much appreciated
If my "friends" are judging me then they're not my friends are they?

Wel I can remember living in west palm beach area and women would always ask so what do you do for a living
Same in UK, they are sussing out the finances from the minute you say hello
So , where do you live ? Oh , I hear the Property taxes there a really high . Bang you're being cornered on renter or owner .
Yep I get what ya saying
Spot on with everything you've said mate, we've only got one short dance on this planet, live your life and don't have any regrets.
Absolutely
Im coming to pattaya in October on my own for my birthday, and I would rather have a holiday by myself, and I dont care what anybody thinks about my life and what I do
Brilliant mate, come say hello will get ya birthday drink
@@Buzzinpattayaguess this channel is beer and bar girl focused which is great for those interested. I went rural at 69, with a backpack, and found a beautiful kingdom with great people. No judgment, just saying there are many places in Thailand and we can all pick what suits our fancy
Haha I'm already judged where I live for literally just existing. I've come to the point where I could care less what others think about me anymore. I just want to live life and be happy. Hopefully I can visit in oct-nov. Then work my arse off until I can find a way to stay or eventually move. Who knows, that's my end goal though & you've motivated me so much.
fair play mate

I agree with your assessment, do what you want and who cares about what others think or do.

There's NOTHING any more moral or wholesome in the States than in the East. This video just makes me MORE excited to go in December...hell, i may move it up sooner!!!
Nice one
Hi Trev, enjoy your video well said and totally agree with what you'r saying, life for living bro, Life to short for negativity commence there will always be people who cast judgement, and at the end of the day we all have our lives to be happy😊🙏🖐️
Thanks mate
A man is an (hopefully accumulating) asset, guilt is a weapon used to protect that asset. Used to keep you in line by society or groups who might benefit from your hard work or risks (effort, inheritance, taxes etc)
This is the absolute truth of the matter
Gotcha mate thank you
Spot on Trev mate, very well said.
"LIFE IS FOR LIVING"
To heck with what people think👍🥳👍🥳👍
Indeed mate
There is a lot of jealousy out there from men who are unable or unwilling to move to Thailand. Retired 56 year old Canadian, been here years, met my dream lady not in a bar here, cost of living easy half of Vancouver. Love it here. You do you. I do me. Don't judge.
Well said mate
Single non-divorce middle-aged middle-income men with no dependents are looked upon with the deepest shame in North America. Basically we're kicked to the curb in all aspects after years of working our asses off surviving the minefields of dead-end relationships. I wanna go to a place in the world wherever we can be accepted and appreciated. Apparently Thailand is where its at and I cannot wait to feel young again, even if it's for just a short time. The people and culture is so beautiful. Thankyou for your content as I really enjoy your videos.
Well said mate fair play to you, shame on them treating you like that
Ready for my 8th or 9th trip there.... rarely drink, no drugs, come for affordable medical care (state of the art) and dating one of the most beautiful women in the world..... love love love walking the beaches early pre dawn..... such solitude and peace!!!
Also LOVE the Elephant Sanctuaries!!!!!!!!!
Fair play mate
I still send postcards from my vacations to my buddies.
I know it will always be a surprise to find it in their mailbox 😆
Haha brilliant
I’ll be there in December been going there now for 10 years I don’t care what anybody thinks my business if they judge me they can do one
