It was so wonderful to see these beautiful animals. I just can't believe they are getting older. It seems like just the other day, they were these you lions with so much energy. I love watching you guys doing your thing while the world is going into madness. I'm looking forward to the time when humanity and the animal kingdom are reunited.
Incredible. It's just incredible. What a gift God gave Kevin. Almost no other human in the world can interact with animals like he does without fear of attack. Most humans and wild animals dont mix.
I am at a loss for the words to describe just HOW MUCH JOY I get from having these videos of yours Kevin in my life. These awe inspiring loving animals have honestly helped me get through a deep depression WITHOUT using the meds given. I love them all so much.
I thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the Lions. It just amazes me about the wonderful bond that Kevin has with all the Lions. Meggie is going on 21? That's really, really old for a Lion. All the Lions look so good. It's a testament to the wonderful care they receive. Plus the fact that they don't have the kind of stresses as in the wild of constantly having to hunt for food, maybe getting hurt while hunting and the chances of being attacked by other Lions outside their Pride or by other animals. I love these videos by Kevin!
It is fantastic sharing these moments with you Kevin Richardson LionHeart and all the precious cats and hyenas 😊 I know you love them all but your relationship with Meg is certainly very, very special, your eyes are so full of love, it is wonderful to see, I am sure everyone agrees with me. All the "seniors" in your care look absolutely amazing! And that's due to you Kevin because of all love & care that you give all of the animals. Meg (and Bobcat too) NEVER disappoint when you come to see them. Their love for is boundless.
To see how much these animals loves and respects you is so good to see❤😊 That just shows how good they are having it there and how much that man understands and have the same love and respect for them.. Keep the videos coming 😊
Amen. God made each animal unique with different personalities and traits. So beautiful to witness these amazing animals. And how could you not love their gorgeous faces?
Oh it’s so nice seeing groups I’ve not seen for a while Meg and Icky and Veyetse and Ginny. It’s crazy how old they are now, time flies when you’re having fun. ❤️🦁❤️🦁
I still get my heart in my mouth when a lion gets angry around Kevin... Thor's group always has a bit of pushing and shoving....and the lions get tense with each other. But Kevin is right in the middle of them all.... I do hope Kevin understands that he's capturing rare up close footage of lions, hyenas and leopards that no one else can get.
Kevin Richardson is aware of all you stated. His understanding of lions (and these in particular) is beyond our grasp. We can only watch with awe. The dedication to this cause is more than many of us have. This is not a reprimand, but simply an opportunity to watch and learn.
@@EllenLewis-bs5le Oh I am 100% positive that Kevin knows exactly what he is doing. But my natural instinct is both awe and concern. I grew up thinking Dr Doolittle was just a film but here I am seeing Kevin mingle with these apex icons and am amazed he has gained their trust. Please tell me Kevin gets some awards for this work? Does South Africa have an Honours system at all? He sure does deserve it.
Ugh, my heart breaks everything i think of you having to say goodbye to these precious darlings, Kev. I'm sure it will be a bitter sweet as anything can be in this life. You've done right by them, you and your team... thank you so much for the honor of joining you in the journey. Smiles and blessings...
Every time one of the animals cross the Rainbow Bridge I usually spend the day crying. I can imagine how grief stricken Kevin is. I remember when Ischca was put down. I didn’t think I’d ever stop crying. That video was heartbreaking. I’m just a big softie when it comes to animals.

@miepiyuki5609 totally agree, I've said over 20 goodbyes to my feline family members and I'd much rather have the sad goodbye than never having known them!I only meant that my heart aches for his that is bearing the end of these amazing friends. He's not doing more. So it's not like he'll be able to continue on with more... it will be the end and feel very empty I'm sure in so many ways. Catch and release does not provide for bonding. Which is what the reserve will be after all the familiars are gone. He'll still have the ones he follows in the wild so that will help. Can't tell you how often I've thanked God for Kevin, his team and those who help this mission!

Unbelievable Kevin. Meg is so affectionate until you went into Thor and family with the eggs. Your control of them and their response to you is one in a million. I'd say yes they remember!! I recall during the pandemic we didn't see our grand cat for months. I watched him often while our daughter traveled. After 6 months we finally got to watch him again, he ran out of his carrier straight to my arms. I was silly happy just like you. Love your content, thank you fir sharing these amazing experiences.
I adore how the expression of their eyes is so calm. They clearly have a deep bond with Kevin ... I would adore to be able to touch them & groom them but I know it would be suicidal ;) Only Kevin can do that :) I love all your videos !!!
So beautiful to see the love between you, and it’s amazing how gentle they eat tiny bits of egg from your hand, and see Meg’s gentle ‘love bite’ 😍😍😍 Also love that little tuft under their bottom lip - so cute when you scratch that chin area 😍 Absolutely love the roaring 🥰🥰🥰
As someone who has worked in animal rescue (dogs, cats, various wildlife) for 25 years... who has hundreds of scars from various animal shenanigans - I'd love to see a "Kevin Scar Review" video. I bet you have stories :) Have loved what you do for many, many years and visiting your sanctuary is on the TOP of my bucket list.
That would be an interesting video. I’ve seen a few videos where you can see scars on his arms. I think Rafique (spelling) bit him on his left forearm when he got frightened. I saw a documentary a few years ago where someone interviewed him with the hyenas. He said he’d been hospitalized 5 times because of the hyenas. He’s probably got more scars from claws than teeth.
Sweet Meg never disappoints- always glad to see her Kevin! - Even if her grumpy old man decided to be in an "Icky" mood today! So glad to see them all doing well in their old age. I wonder if like old people who sometimes slow down or get lethargic when they don't get out much... these "old folks" need their Kevin around with his treats, walks and funny cameras to liven their lives up a bit?!?!?!? LOL I almost alway watch your videos with a smile on my face from beginning to end... Love to you and all your creature friends from cold, dreary and drenched Granbury, Texas USA!!! Hugs to all from here!

And to look at your wonderful big soft paws, what a thrill to cuddle with you Like I could really feel you. And so Mr. Lion, I hope you are enjoying your time here on earth and when you get to heaven you can continue your powerful roars. Love and respect you so very very much! I used to have nightmares about seeing pride of lions passing 30 yards away from me, always horrified if they would see me. After started watching these great videos I never ever had it again. Great work and respect! Greetings from Croatia!
Hey Kevin, you are so blessed. Although these are 'big cats', their underlying traits are so similar those of the domestic cats, I have been fortunate to connect with over my 75 years. Each have their own characters, with their individual traits, reactions & demeanor. All my cats were absolutely precious to me & during their lives with me, I never tried to change anyone of them, but allowed them to develop as their characters formed them to. And with each one's passing, they left me with a legacy of knowledge, love & even spiritual wisdom, that few humans have done. An overall unconditional display of love & association based on absolute truth & trust. Much like I see you share with your 4 footed fur friends. Keep well mate & bless you for sharing your wisdom with so many of us. 😊
Putting your hand near the mouth of such an amazing killing machine is just incredible. I’ve been watching you for years and what you do never gets old. You’re such a lucky person to get to be a part of all those prides. I would love to have such an honour, but I’m good lol. Even watching you walk with them is so incredible. Knowing that these lions would probably protect you to the death just seems like such an honour. Dogs are man’s best friend but lions are on a whole other level. Thanks for all of your videos Richard. Incredible 😉👍🏻
It is always wonderful to see the lions :) How are the 8 cheetahs you rehabed and released doing ? Do you still track them ? Also have I missed videos or has it been a bit since we've seen the hyenas ? . Also how has the area recovered since that horrid fire that swept through the sanctuary ? My best to you all for the loving hard work you do to keep these magnificent souls healthy and happy into their golden years :)
To my knowledge, the miracle eight cheetah group was split up and relocated. 3 of them went to The Amakhala Reserve as credited by this video: ua-cam.com/video/P_HLXSjMdoc/v-deo.html. You can watch them on youtube. I don’t know where the other 5 ended up at.

Such magnificent animals!! Thanks Kevin for doing what you do. It's a dream job and you have brought all of us closer to nature. I would love to do the job you do......but in my case the lions might eat me 😛
Maybe they do. Animals are much smarter than many believe they are. And they understand the tone and meaning, if not the exact words. If you keep pets you know they are smart. 😊 They wouldn't be able to adapt and survive if they weren't intelligent.
Never gets old to see your being loved on by all the different lions and lioness, all with different personalities and perspectives on life yet all love the chin scratch and we who watch get alot of enjoyment from the face to face rubs, chin scratches and mane combs. Always great to see the lions! Meg still loves to jump on you! Your videos make my day❤️
All these pretty and touching little people are happy to welcome you. ❤Meg❤ beams with joy to see you again. Gorgeous and precious Queen ! Thank you for sharing with us these precious and warm moments of reunion.😊
It was so wonderful to see these beautiful animals. I just can't believe they are getting older. It seems like just the other day, they were these you lions with so much energy. But that's the same as we are, getting older also. We've lost some wonderful lions these past few years. But it's still awesome to see these beautiful animals are loved very dearly thanks to you, Kevin, and your staff.
I really enjoyed just hearing all the natural sounds w/ no background 🎵🎶. Love hearing them interact w/ their Pop Kevin. 🙌🙌
I love watching you guys doing your thing while the world is going into madness. I'm looking forward to the time when humanity and the animal kingdom are reunited.
Personally, I could do without humanity and just have animals.
All so happy to see you. Gentle love bites. Absolutely beautiful and they are aging well. Love the pounce❤🐾❤
Incredible. It's just incredible. What a gift God gave Kevin.
Almost no other human in the world can interact with animals like he does without fear of attack.
Most humans and wild animals dont mix.
That's not true Dean is the best with lion's and a African man and woman been doing this for thousands of years it's nothing new
God bless them all wonderful and loving Lions 😃❤️😺👍
These videos are very often the best part of my day. Thank you for every one of them.
Great to hear this, thank you for the ongoing support
Same. Just love these lions so much! And the work Kevin and his team does is just beyond words ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I am at a loss for the words to describe just HOW MUCH JOY I get from having these videos of yours Kevin in my life. These awe inspiring loving animals have honestly helped me get through a deep depression WITHOUT using the meds given. I love them all so much.
MEG my Meg I missed her soooo much Thank You Kevin
I thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the Lions. It just amazes me about the wonderful bond that Kevin has with all the Lions. Meggie is going on 21? That's really, really old for a Lion. All the Lions look so good. It's a testament to the wonderful care they receive. Plus the fact that they don't have the kind of stresses as in the wild of constantly having to hunt for food, maybe getting hurt while hunting and the chances of being attacked by other Lions outside their Pride or by other animals. I love these videos by Kevin!
Love how these big cats know who loves them ❤🙌🏼🥰
It is fantastic sharing these moments with you Kevin Richardson LionHeart and all the precious cats and hyenas 😊 I know you love them all but your relationship with Meg is certainly very, very special, your eyes are so full of love, it is wonderful to see, I am sure everyone agrees with me. Welcome home🥰
Wow, the length of life, these beautiful animals have with you, is a testament to your care. One love from Scotland. 💙 🦁
I never get tired of hearing the Kids roar. You could sell it as a ring tone. 😄💖
Thank you for sharing updates, always looking forward on how the big cats are doing! 🙏💗🦁✌
I love how Kevin grooms LIoNS(!) the way we groom horses !!!🤯🤣😇👍🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
I loved seeing Meg❤❤❤I have her poster and see it every day💝💝💝
Meg still has great energy for her incredible age, always tender bites for you ❤ I think that the young or old senior residents are calmer, they remain completely affectionate, each in their own way 🙂❤🍀Hugs for all animals, old age is not easy but staying happy peacefully
All the "seniors" in your care look absolutely amazing! And that's due to you Kevin because of all love & care that you give all of the animals. Meg (and Bobcat too) NEVER disappoint when you come to see them. Their love for is boundless.
Hi Kevin. Thanks for sharing this video. I love how all the lions greet you.
To see how much these animals loves and respects you is so good to see❤😊
That just shows how good they are having it there and how much that man understands and have the same love and respect for them..
Keep the videos coming 😊
God truly makes perfection and all his creations are beautiful. Wonderfully made.
Amen. God made each animal unique with different personalities and traits. So beautiful to witness these amazing animals. And how could you not love their gorgeous faces?
The interaction w/Meg is always such a pleasure to see. It’s great to see their different personalities tho.
of course they remember him haha
Meg is wonderful as always ❤️😍! The white mane on those lions are so beautiful too! happy cats ! I appreciate your job 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Marvelous as always. Thank you for your hard work and dedication Kev!
i know the bond kevin have with these animals...but feeding a pack of lions with his hands is pretty special to see.
I’m just a big softie when it comes to animals.
i always think than, hei .. without kev the would never made it this far, each day is a blessing and a gift. like bonus bonus bonus time :)
i once learned that beeing happy that something was , is more important than, beeing sad that its over.
each day with this gifts, and there "freedom" without getting there claws and teeth pulled out ... ore beeing shoot at ... is a gift to all.
@@Debra.Justice me too!!
@@hisimagenme jea good thing there are many more sancturys and helpers around the world freeing animals and reintegrating them :) and i think over the last years kev showed us lots of them so we knew , that we also can support them, and one time when he finaly ! can reduce the stress and sorrow on his shoulder , maybe someone else takes over and uses this lands and everthing to help animals :) afterall, its a amazing enclosure for animals.
iam always grateful that he has enough food for this rascals.
love what he and the other animal "guards" in this world do, to help the animals in need.
Unbelievable Kevin. Meg is so affectionate until you went into Thor and family with the eggs. Your control of them and their response to you is one in a million. Infact all of them except one came to greet you no matter what age. Must be the most incredible feeling getting those responses you have taken years to develop. Awesome cats and the live they get from you is never missed 🐾. Love it whilst I pet my little Tabby kitty 😻
Beautiful animals absolutely gorgeous. Thank you for sharing his videos.
Wow I absolutely love how you interact with the sLions its a friendship built on trust and love it seems. Truly unbelievable thankyou for allowing us too see this
I love Meg so much! She's such a sweet girl. She may be in the paddock with Icarus, but Kevin is her true love.
Really enjoying my membership; going through lots of old videos. Still pining for a long sleeve tee shirt, lol, my Bobcat is getting really threadbare
Great to hear ! thank you
I could watch these beautiful animals ALL DAY. ❤
I would adore to be able to touch them & groom them but I know it would be suicidal ;)
Only Kevin can do that :)
I love all your videos !!!
The affection that the Lions and Lionesses show to Kevin is very exceptional ❤❤❤....
Je suis toujours en admiration devant la beauté des lions ❤
Incredible how small Kevin looks next to Thor. He is huge!
I know, it's amazing how big they really are. Yet how gentle they can be with us fragile humans. 😊
Kevin , you’re a hero and I wish I could live just a few lion hugs in your life . Cheers !
Simply beautiful all around.❤
He’s probably got more scars from claws than teeth.
within 5 minutes of watching went from 114 to 225 likes WoW just shows how popular this channel is KEEP IT UP KEV ❤
Videos like this temp me to visit the sanctuary ❤ ❤ ❤
Hey Texas. I’m in Tennessee. All the snow finally melted and it was 68 degrees today. While I was snowed in, I rewatched Kevin’s videos. I never get tired of them and sometimes cry tears of joy. Love his animals so much.
Hey, Debra from Tennessee, finally warmed up here too!! The town Granbury, where I live was founded by folks from Tennessee about 150 years ago!
@@Debra.Justice
@@melindaray105 My nephew and his family live in Boerne. Are you close? That’s interesting that TN folks settled in TX. I think our states have a lot in common.
Started smiling within seconds and didn't stop.
When i see the different greetings it brings home the confidence these wonderful cats have in you. I must admit the information they gain in the different scents you carry since you last visited them give them info on where you have been. They almost queue in otder for their greeting. Such amazing creatures. Thank you. ❤
Dear Mr Lion - if you were the last lion on earth, this is what I would want to tell you, You are the most wonderful, beautiful, and majestic creature on God's earth ! Mr. Kevin is so very blessed to have been able to have the relationship that he has had with your lion groups. I have always wanted to pet or even just to touch a lion such as yourself, and when ever I watch Mr Kevin's videos, i find myself smiling and rubbing my computer screen! My Granddaughter laughs at me when I do this ! And to look at your wonderful big soft paws, what a thrill to cuddle with you Like I could really feel you. LOL I live about 40 mins from the Philadelphia Zoo, but I doubt if they would let me pet a lion. And oh , to hear you roar !!!!! What an amazing and powerful sound. And so Mr. Lion, I hope you are enjoying your time here on earth and when you get to heaven you can continue your powerful roars. Love and respect you so very very much! Very Sincerely, Ms. Karean (karen )
Granny Meg rarely disappoints! Her affection and sense of humour have been such a constant thing we love about her. It was more than a miracle that she and Icarus were able to start a Golden Years relationship. As a divorced 70-year-old... They give me hope!
That first greeting certainly answered your question. Bless. 🦁🇦🇺💗
Gaining trust and love from any animal is priceless..
Truly, lions are the most beautiful Big Cats ever, though I love my small cats forever
tiger are...no comparison
@@pc-easyYou beat me to it. I was just about to say this. Lions are beautiful but Tigers are on a whole different level of gorgeous.
I love watching your special relationship with your lions, you are so blessed, and they are blessed to have you in their lives.
Thank you for the info @@ElusiveLion741
May God bless you Kevin good healthy life n all the people with you who cares a lot about these animals🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Vayetse is amazing. So regal and handsome with such a sweet nature.
Hello Kevin Richardson. Darn am I glad that the people like you still dwell on that marvellous planet. I wish you and all you lions and lionesses (especially Meg, I still have her pictures where she was young) long and happpy life to live.
ah man these lions are amazing! And what is even more amazing is that it is my countries national symbol.
Fabulous all round, thank you !
Watching you is precious therapy for this old dude who can't travel at the moment. Many thanks and big hugs!
What...what a wholesome video.❤
Kevin & your team, saying thank you for having soft hearts.
Such magnificent animals!! Thanks Kevin for doing what you do. It's a dream job and you have brought all of us closer to nature. I would love to do the job you do......but in my case the lions might eat me 😛
It still amazes me how you interact with animals! You truly have a gift.❤
This man has planet sized balls
Such beautiful animals. And you can see his passion and their love for him.
I love how he talks to them like they understand every word he says
Maybe they do. Animals are much smarter than many believe they are. And they understand the tone and meaning, if not the exact words.
If you keep pets you know they are smart. 😊
They wouldn't be able to adapt and survive if they weren't intelligent.
I believe they do understand many words. my cats do.
Never gets old to see your being loved on by all the different lions and lioness, all with different personalities and perspectives on life yet all love the chin scratch and we who watch get alot of enjoyment from the face to face rubs, chin scratches and mane combs. Amazing animals with such power and beauty yet a simple egg snack seems to delight them. In a world of wars and killing and insanity its great to see love in action....
You are safer with your lions than I am with my cat 😁
Bless you and the Lion whisperer team
look at all his scars XD wouldnt say safer XD maybe .. he doesnt show us each scratch and bite XD yust remember how the hyaene love to "nibble " our poor Kev XD i bet his wife is at home waiting to patch him up each day XD
