I will love to see Tommy and his band
It's amazing how good young players are. The internet is such a good tool. I'm in my seventies played as a professional musician for most of my life. I can play at this level now but it took sixty years to get there. All of you young guitar players coming up. Take full advantage of what you are offered. I wish that I had this ability to get instruction from some of the best players in the world for free online back then. Would have been a game changer.
Tommy's father was a blues guitarist in Hungary, which probably contributed to his ability to play the instrument at this level. As a child he watched Stevie Ray Vaughan's concerts on VHS tapes and was completely mesmerised by his playing. He has acquired an amazing technical knowledge of both capturing and playing notes that I don't think you can learn from the internet. He's a natural talent.
So many awesome players out there. Two of my faves..Philip Sayce+Lance Lopez!🤘
Love Texas Floods version of this song!!!
Off the chain Tommy!
Who is the clown that give this a Thumbs down, That proves it, there are people from a different planet on Earth !!
Not sure who or why. I'm just grateful for the love I've gotten on here though
@@BluesBeliever do they cover machine gun
@@theharfordcenter5903
They do but it's rare when they play it.
I thought I was listening to a lost SRV and Double Trouble recording and I mean that as a true compliment. As always you guys are amazing.
Agree :v
c'mon guy ...that's just cruel lol
Guys I can hardly wait till you guys are playing live around town again. Tommy I took a lesson from you once and I am still reaping the benefits of that lesson especially during quarantine. Thank you. Keep up those amazing chops.
guitar sound GREAT!
Wow I’m impressed that low battery in camera survived the whole show!
Saw these guys on Sat Aug 29 and they were fire. THey are totally respectful and faithful to the original versions of the songs they play but there is so much else going on in their playing. They have great originals, they each could play any kind of music they want at the highest level, I'm glad they love the blues! I'll go see them any time they play near me.
The cover of Rude Mood was absolute fire!!!!
OTTIMA BAND😉😉😉😉👍👍👍
OTTIMO TOMMY
THE NEW TEXAS SRV
the legend continue!!!
vocals killin it as well
The whole band is amazing on top of the lightning fast guitar work. Really inspiring to watch!
Accidentally came across this and I absolutely love it
My nephew Clayton took lessons from Tommy a few years back and said that Tommy was the nicest human being that he ever met! On a side note, no pun intended, I wish that Jimmie Vaughan would allow the SRV movie to happen & that Tommy play him....PERFECT MATCH inside & out!
I was wondering why there's no SRV Movie, is that the reason because of Jimmie don't allow it to happen??
I think so!
It would be the greatest movie ever made!
@@walterostrander9085 Oh my god it would be awesome to see an SRV Movie
@@Anthony-qb2gr can you imagine Brother, how many people would be inspired by Stevie's life and get off of drugs & alcohol and move forward....just by seeing what he went through, overcame & accomplished? Jimmie Vaughan needs to step up to the plate like his little brother did & do good & honor him!
You guys need to get a tour going NOW!!!!! 🎶🔥🔥🔥🔥💙
Tommy's playing on everything as always, is FIRE, but the the one that really hit me was "All along the watchtower". Brilliant playing! Great closer tribute to Albert King!
Love 3-piece bands...
One of the GOAT

Great Tommy... Stevie is back!
It's Almost Too Much ! Met this guy in 2004 I believe? On a SRV Bus Tour Texas. So calm and quiet! you would have never guessed ! He lost a talk box, left it on the elevator, even at that time I felt bad I couldn't have come across it for him .
Killing!
No-one noticed all the the Gary Moore solos and licks?
I noticed nearly the whole solo out of "Empty Rooms"
Tommy has his own tone them fingers are gold
You look like him, you sound like him, you're very close to playing like Stevie and your energy is matched.
What can I say, don't enter a damn helicopter
Damn !!!!

Great band .... and Tommy is the perfect combination of Stevie, Jimi and Gary ... he keeps their music alive and he is himself at the same time .... absolute fantastic .....

I doubt you could get any closer to sayin Stevie lives?? Great vocals, great 3 piece band , all GREAT!
Agreed! If Stevie Ray Vaughan had a son....
@@walterostrander9085 maybe he did 🤫😉
the strumming is different.....lead is awesome
I was going to ask if you were playing on the Honey Bee Amp, then I saw the Kemper on your right.... If I had not spotted it, I would have said you were playing a tube amp. The tone is just perfect.
I am usually going to live concerts at the Guitar Sanctuary, I am hopeful to see you there whenever the C-19 crisis is under control.
I wanna know know what amp profile this guy is jamming on that Kemper Toaster! Awesome!
When are you guys coming up to Canada?
Incredible guitar playing and Mind-blowing guitar tone. What amp is that. ?
Are you using a Kemper all the way ?
When you enter Swedish soil, please let me know ahead 👍👍👍
bass player is tight fer sure
Should clarify...3 minute Hideaway became 8-plus for me
This is the only video with sound. The other two need to be re-uploaded.
Sadly it's the video because on certain formats it doesn't work. Working on fixing them though! Thanks for the support
so....yeah....u guys guys can make some bucks.....getting gigs straight up srv tribute
Great playing. Love Stevie, Jimi and all the old blues players. Right! Now someone do an Andrew Oldham and lock these guys in a room, don't let em out till they start coming up with their own tunes! THAT I would like to hear!
Sounds killer guys, but that kick is noisy.
I'll think it's time for a DNA test 🤔
😂😂
Yes
Hay... your battery is low...
He can play the shit out of the guitar that being said srv vibes were lacking. The band sounds good but lacked the blues feel, you cant do srv without the blues. Some artist just need to be left alone! That being said i am sure they are a good rock band.
I don’t remember him ever saying he was SRV or that he was a replacement for Stevie. But he does a great job keeping that spirit and music alive.
