@jesen84 I have done all of the above. It didn't even go dormant over the winter. It still have all six leaves. Even trying to throw out some small figs.
One more very important factor is your zone. I could never get growth like that in Oregon as our season is much shorter and cooler. Figs like heat 🔥
Good point. I tried to call out sunlight hours, but I agree - temperature is also important.

I have col da dame noir cutting I started last year and It's only 6 inches tall. The roots are extensive tho...lol
Heh, the roots are important! I bet it will explode with growth this year. Try putting it in a larger container and fertilizing regularly.
