It actually has 5 servos. They should advertise that because it's freaking cool. Steering, 2-speed, 2wd-4wd, and front and rear locking differential servos. I'd be surprised though for the size and specs if this thing is cheap. It's close in size to the SCX6!
Rlaarlo started with a knock off Typhon built from the same warehouse as WLtoys 14001. It's crazy they came this far in less than 3 years.
Another great option for the hobby can’t wait until it’s here. Love the channel.

Yikong RC uses the hinged body on their 1/8 crawlers. It’s a dream.

SCX6 Honcho has a pivoting body. Not sure its really a feature, to me. Ya gotta hold the fairly stout body up while you work battery straps and connectors. Looks awesome, though, with the clips hidden below, in the front bumper.
Axial lights are just on all the time, 3 channel radio. Only extra button is the hi-low speed. Which, for my money, is all you really need. We never unlock diffs. The 2WD is pretty rad, I like that for scale.
Brushed motor is smart, keep costs down while maintaining low end control. Gonna sound like hot garbage, though.
The transmitters are VERY good and this one appears to come with their best one. Just read the manual first, i made that mistake LOL. Jay, if they send you one, are you prepared to showcase it? You can call your weekend testing, "Super slow Saturday" LOL. I can't work from home on the computer during the spring and summer months with all the updates and releases. I need Arrma to announce an updated onroad car ASAP.
Jay Tee… really talk to Rlaarlo about an 8th scale(real 8th scale) or even bigger Truck/Truggy built with the quality of this Omni-Terminator… OMG… they would sell a million!!

They are trying to get all their ducks in a row in all departments… I believe they will get everything that we complain about figured out and fixed. I also truly believe that they (Rlaarlo) are missing out by not having scale dirt vehicles… and if they made a vehicle like the 787 8th scale… wow! I send them emails all the time… but I am just me… you are like 90k strong!! 💪 that’s a lot of people watching and waiting, credit card in hand😀
You'll have to check out the similarities between the this and the Cross RC EMO X series trucks

The axial one which I have is a beast but the body uses 4 body clips to hold it on but there is a clip less aftermarket option…the axial scx6 has front headlights and rear taillights….

I have the rc rebelcon ( American version of the 10th scale of the absima sherpa) and the body clips up just like this one and it also comes with locking diffs and two speed as well and also has a plethora of lighting options as well.. my rebelcon and this new crawler are very similar to each other

They’ve been teasing this thing for 5 months. I predict $699 presale $1199 retail. Some running videos out there of this during their soft launch.
Is it worth it? Looks like an ok trail truck. I doubt it will seriously compete with the Honcho on performance, and the Honcho was on sale this past Christmas for $849.
Never. The current basher (Omni Terminator) came with a much smaller pre-sale discount and now the regular price is the same as the pre-sale price.
I agree $699.99 will be the cheapest you'll get it. I'll be passing on this one.
That Honcho sale finally put an SCX6 in my house. Worth it on sale.
@@philote09 Yeah, I didn’t say they’d sell any at their standard list prices, just that they like to inflate that figure. I seriously doubt many AK917’s sold for $399/$499. The presale is a Rlaarlo sales gimmick.
I doubt it's gonna be that expensive, it'll be priced to where its the best bang for your buck as far as features to its competitors

Interesting information but should be brushless…
It's probably brushed to keep the cost down. Many people get kind of crazy with brushless systems and I'm pretty sure they'll offer one or the price of a cheap enough to where if you buy one it still won't cost you a lot. But let's see what this thing cost when they leave release it
I think it's both, just look at the website. It's even an FOC brushless Motor! I guess you will have the option to get the brushed or brushless one.

That'll be a very fair price. That's basically TRX4 high trail money. This is bigger with more features.
I ordered mine but as usual Rrlatlo RC is a terrible company when it comes to customer service, they did not provide A tracking number for a while.
They Say it’s shipped but they just made a label so whatever. Also did not get the armor plates because they claimed I wasn’t the first 30 orders (ordered within seconds of go live) paid the $40 for them to get to me the skid plates, then they canceled my order but did not refund me! They make some good stuff but a hack of a company, my last time giving them my business’s… avoid!!!
Rlaarlo is on their BS! Can't even get their Omni Terminator to customers but they immediately have a new RC almost ready to go... Smdh

Someone stole all my RC cars and gear from my storage unit $4000 worth of hobby. absolutly sick to my stomach over it. cops siad they useually dont recover this kinda stuff. I live on disability and will never recovermy entire hobby is gone. I am in tears and devistated. what can i do ?
